Lucky Green & Recent Wins!!

Tonight I whipped up a green card, in honour of the upcoming St. Patrick's Day celebration. However, this card could just as easily be a birthday or thank you card.

I cut the leaf, bird and hearts, which I turned into a clover, from the Cricut cartridge Wall Decor and More, and I layered them over patterned paper from CTMH and Coredinations cardstock. This was the first monochromatic colour scheme card I think I've done and I really like how it turned out! I rounded the corners with my new Corner Chomper, which I'm loving :). Of course I had to pull out my Distress Ink for the edge of the card and around the die cut edges. I added some foam tape to pop up the cuts and couldn't resist adding some Stickles. The sentiment stamp is from CTMH as well.

Oh, and I just had to share my recent wins!! I won the challenge at Scrapbookers Paradise blog (see my post here) and received a fantastic assortment of BoBunny Valentine embellishments! I was also the winner over at the Fantabulous Cricut blog (see my post here) for the Heart Challenge and won a $15 gift certificate from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I ordered some fun ribbons, hemp cord, bakers twine and rickrack. The order was very quick to arrive and everything is beautiful!!
