FCCB #311 - Pumpkins!

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #311-Pumpkins
Make a project about anything to do with pumpkins

This Weeks Sponsor

And the prize is-

A $10 gift code for a B.Y.O.B. (Build Your Own Bundle)

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

For my project today I decided to make some pumpkin Thanksgiving cards using the Pumpkin cut from the Designer’s Calendar cartridge and the Give Thanks sentiment from the Thoughts and Phrases Good Times cartridge. I used the write feature and attached the phrase so I could write directly on my pumpkin with a Cricut calligraphy marker. I backed the cut out opening with some lovely fall papers and layered them on an embossed green cardstock square.

Here in Canada our Thanksgiving falls on Monday October 9th, and is much earlier than the US Holiday. Personally, I don’t know how all of my US friends can stand the wait! I’ve been craving turkey dinner and pumpkin pie for a month now! A few sequins and some Stickles add some lovely shine - and I added a pretty stamp from Pink & Main along the bottom.

Inside, I stamped a pretty script sentiment from a Pink & Main stamp set and added some more sparkly sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog to see all the other lovely pumpkin projects the designers came up with - and enter your own for a chance to win!

  1. I'm excited for some turkey as well! Can't wait! I always stock up since the prices are lower this time of year - this way I can still enjoy some turkey in the Spring! :) Your cards are lovely - I love the falling leaves as the backdrop!
