Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge #536 - Use A Stencil!

Good Morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create! This week our challenge for you is .... USE A STENCIL! I decided to use a stencil in a bit of a different way for this project! I actually embossed the fabulous Summer Sunbeams Stencil first - and if you've never done this -- you gotta try it! Using an embossing mat and my Cricut Cuttlebug, which is almost ancient now ;) I ran it through with a piece of white cardstock and it actually embosses the texture of the stencil into the paper. Then, I used our new Summer Sunshine Ink to add a soft yellow shine fading out toward the edges. This is a fun way to add even more detail and texture to your project. **If you missed the Live Video where I demo'd all kinds of different ways to use this stencil be sure to check it out HERE! I stamped a diecut circle with a fun birthday sentiment from the Party Time Sentiment Stamp with Sparkling Sapphire Ink and popped it up in the center of the sunshine. I coloured up one of the adorable fairies from the Fairy Folk Stamp Set and added some pretty Krafty Dots to the card!

Inside, I stamped a sweet butterfly and a sentiment from the Fairy Folk Set using Sparkling Sapphire and Magical Midnight Inks and added a little more of the paper I used on the front.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp however using Kraftin' Kimmie stamp and products will earn you double entries!
