Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Peeks... Day ONE! A Krafty Komeback - Shell-O!

It's time for our June Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured set is a Krafty Komeback set by 

Emilie Goulet

 and it's called.....
SHELL-O!

This was originally released in rubber,

and we're so excited to bring it back in clear for you!!

This set is perfect to kick off your summer projects with three very cool characters who can't wait to say "Shell-o"!

I stamped the cute little crab from this set and coloured him up with Copics before diecutting with a circle die. I love how he looks like he's concentrating so hard on building his sandcastle! It reminds me of when my kids would cut with scissors when they were younger and stick their tongues out!

I added some sunshine and wave stenciling with the Krafty Scenery 3 Stencil and Krafty Kolours Inks, including our New OCEAN OPULENCE ink. I added some of the Gold Sand and Fish Sparkletz embellishments from the fabulous JUNE ADD-ON BUNDLE as well. I absolutely love the New BUBBLES STENCIL and used yellow and orange inks for an ombre effect on the paper layer going across the card base.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge #584 - Use An Oval!

  Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

This week our challenge theme for you is: 

Use An Oval!

I pulled out the super cute Happiness Is Homemade Stamp Set - which is on sale this weekend with our Frugal Friday Specials!! - and did a little copic colouring. I just love how the Doodlebug Designs Made With Love collection goes so well with this set! 

I created lots of layers with the pretty papers and, since our challenge is to use an oval, I grabbed the Original Ovals stencil and Pretty In Pink Krafty Kolours Ink to create a focal point behind my little chef. After the oval was stencilled, I used it as a mask to add on the hearts with the Happy Hearts Stencil and Raspberry Rose Ink. I stamped on the sentiment with Marvelous Mocha Ink and layered on some fun heart stickers and those adorable heart shaped cookies and rolling pin. I seriously love all the sweet accessory stamps in the Happiness Is Homemade  set!!

Inside, I added a little sentiment from the Doodlebug paper - this will be perfect to give to my daughter for an end of the school year card! 

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps June Skrappy Challenge!

 Good morning krafty friends! It's June and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

I'm sharing a Mother's Day layout today that I created for our Spring Retreat as a bonus project using supplies from the kit and stamps and stencils that have since been released!

At the top left corner I used some Soft Sage Krafty Kolours Ink and the beautiful Krafty Kaleidoscope Stencil. 

I diecut the title with my Cricut and placed it vertically along the right side of the page.

I stamped a quote from the Springtime Sentiments Stamp Set with Wicked Black Ink on one of the journaling cards from the paper included in the kit. 

After writing my journaling out, I placed a paper pieced teacup on the page, stamped with the fabulous Tiny Tea Party stamp set!

 The theme for our Skrappy Challenge is 

ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!

So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, July 5th to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Two More Layouts using the Scrap Shotz May Kit Club!

 Hello! I'm over on the Scrap Shotz Blog today to share two more layouts using the awesome May Kit!! I decided to pull out the New Salvaged Patina Distress Ink and Oxide Pads to bring in the blue colour from the water, and I love how it turned out!

Wild Whisper Merry and Bright Christmas Morning Layout!

 Hello! I'm over on the Wild Whisper Blog today with a pretty Christmas layout using the Nicole Wright Baubles and Bows 12x12 Paper Pack  and Nicole Wright Designs Circlet Stencil! I love adding mixed media onto my layouts, and I really had fun with this one! 

Plus, I pulled out my DecoFoils and Mini Minc to add foiled details to the preprinted paper elements!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #582 - Plants & Trees!

This week, I'm your hostess on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Blog, and my challenge theme for you is: 

PLANTS AND TREES

I created a no-line watercolour look by colouring the stamp lines in with markers using Tombows, Distress Markers and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, which are all waterbased, and stamping on watercolour paper. After I stamped the 'inked' images I used a paintbrush to pull the colour in from the edges to shade each element! 

I stamped the blossoms from the Spring Scenery set to add colour around the branch and then took a wet paintbrush to soften the flowers for a pretty effect. I added some fun stickers and ephemera from the Doodlebug Fairy Garden collection and used Tonic Crystal Glaze for a 3D look. 

I used the Krafty Scenery Stencil and Salty Sea Krafty Kolours Ink to add in some soft fluffy clouds and stamped the wonderful sun and sentiment using the New Hello Sunshine Stamp Set!
