KKS December Saturday Challenge #675 - Christmas and/or Winter!

 Good morning and welcome to our new 

Monthly Saturday Challenge

This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are: 

Christmas and/or Winter

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you! I am sharing my project for Day 2 of the Krafty Advent Kalendar that I will be showing you how to make Live at 10 am ET today in the Krafty Friends Facebook Group! I coloured the images with Zebra Clickart Markers and did some pretty paper piecing to create a cute banner!

I used the Wooly Winter stencil with Krafty Kolours Inks in Pretty In Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Raspberry Rose and Crisp Crimson and then stamped the sweet sentiment with Lovely Lagoon. I added some glitter gel, an acrylic snowflake and dew drops from The Robin's Nest Creative!

If you missed Day 1 of the reveal, you can find all the details on my Instagram feed! At the end of the 12 days I will have a lovely Christmas banner to hang in my home, so be sure to follow along! I will post daily on Instagram and in the Krafty Friends Facebook Group, and one of the Design Team will be live each day to share the reveal! 

Every month we post a brand new challenge with a choice of themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Our Challenges are now combined with the 

Skrappy Challenge (first Tuesday of the Month)

and the Christmas Challenge In the Krafty Friends FB group! So feel free to enter any or all of these - the monthly prize is a $20 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

KKS December Stamp Of The Month - Deck The Halls!

This adorable little bear is getting ready for the holidays and hanging his sweet wreath! I coloured the cute image up with Copic markers!

I love the Pretty Poinsettias Layering Stencil and used it as my background, sponging with Crisp Crimson, Mossy Meadow and Charming Chartreuse Krafty Kolour Inks.

I added a pretty green Robin's Nest Creative Dew Drop, white gel pen accents, Tonic stars and Ranger Stickles to my background and image.

I added a diecut bow to make my stencilled background look like a present and then stamped a sentiment from the new Snowy Village stamp set!

KKS November Krafty Peeks… Day ONE! Sweater Weather!

Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our November Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we have an adorable set of winter friends,

designed by Sabrina van Vloten,

 and it's called.....

Sweater Weather!

These sweet animals are enjoying frosty activities and even some hot cocoa! Plus the accessory images are perfect to mix and match! As a bonus, be sure to check out our Build a Snowman stencil below, which has an icy rink sized to fit our friends' pond perfectly!

I love playing with the stencils to create backgrounds and then seeing how they inspire me to use them with the awesome stamp sets! I created this background by spraying the new Ugly Sweaters stencil with Distress Mica Stains and then pressing the stencil on another piece of cardstock to create this background resulting in the negative effect. I then took some of my Zebra Sarasa Pens and used the stencil to outline the edges.

I stamped the stump, bunny and hot cocoa stand on Bristol Vellum Cardstock and coloured the sweet images in with Zebra Clickart Markers.

I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and inked the edge with Lovely Lagoon Krafty Kolours Ink. I inked the skating pond in the stamp set with the matching stencil from the Build a Snowman set using Blue Bay ink.

KKS October Krafty Peeks Day THREE! Season's Tweetings!

Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the October Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set

Season's Tweetings!

These sweet bird friends are ready to help spread holiday cheer! 

There are so many fun ways you could colour up these adorable birds! I chose a pretty red combination for mine, using Zebra Clickart Markers. 

I used the new Geo 3 Stencil, first applying a light coat of Ruby Red Krafty Kolours Ink and then adding some sparkle with Snowfall Grit Paste. This is such a great graphic stencil!

I stamped the greeting with Bashful Blush Ink and then added some pretty coordinating papers!

KKS September Hop & Shop!

 Woohoo!!! 

Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our September Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

I'm using the awesome GNOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS today! This sweet sets has holiday sentiments, but lots of images and accessories that could be used all year long! I watercoloured the stamped images up with Zebra Clickart Markers, using Vicki Boutin Foundations paper. I added some white gel pen highlights and paper piecing on the gnome hat and tree!

I sprayed the MERRY MISTLETOE stencil with Tim Holtz Mica Stain and then pressed the stencil with leftover spray onto another piece of cardstock to create the negative impression that you see below on my cardbase. I used a piece of ephemera from the Vicki Boutin Evergreen and Holly collection and then added a sentiment stamped with Crisp Crimson Ink. I finished off the card with some dew drops from The Robin's Nest Creative.

KKS September Krafty Peeks... Day TWO! Gnome For The Holidays!

  Welcome back to Day TWO of our September Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

GNOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS! 

These adorable gnomes are working so hard to get ready for Christmas! Of course their sweet accessories are perfect to mix and match with your other sets too!!

I chose two of the cute gnome images and watercoloured them with Zebra Clickart Markers. I used the candy cane accessory stamp and stamped the sweet, punny sentiment with Crisp Crimson Krafty Kolours Ink.

I chose a tree diecut from a Vicki Boutin ephemera pack and added The Robin's Nest Dew Drops over the ornaments! I cut out a Merry Christmas sentiment from the Vicki Boutin paper and added it to the top left of the card.

I added the snow layer of the Let It Snow layering stencil over various parts of the background and used Ranger Tim Holtz Grit Snowfall Paste to add sparkly fun! A bit of Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze finishes off the card!
