Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March New Release Sneak Peeks Day 1 - Party Time Sentiments!

Hello and welcome to all our Krafty Friends! Are you ready for our MARCH Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!? We are ready to CELEBRATE with a huge PARTY this month! We've got three new stamp sets, two coordinating stencils, a fabulous new hybrid ink colour and new krafty dots! Are YOU ready to party? We are kicking off the festivities with the perfect new stamp set from artist, MELISSA BAKER-NGUYEN called....PARTY TIME SENTIMENTS!

Check out this versatile set of totally functional birthday wishes! It's a 4x6 stamp set with images, sentiments, accessories and trinkets! It's great for kids & adults, guys & girls! Use it as the focal point of your creations or in addition to coloured images....make cards, tags, gifts and lots more!

I decided to use a couple of the solid round sentiment stamps as focal images on my card, along with the awesome balloon stamp! I used the brand NEW Morning Marigold Ink, which is a delicious bright yellow and Sparkling Sapphire Ink to add bright pops of colour and then coloured in the balloons with Copics and added Glossy Accents.

I created a fun background with the NEW Confetti Stencil, using Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo and Rainbow Foil, which you can run through your diecutting machine to add pressure instead of using a laminator! So fun!! The NEW Party Time Dots are such great fun colours (you can see them below) and add another pop of colour and texture.

Inside, I stamped another sentiment and added some of the stars from the set. Stars are something you can always use for many different occasions! I love how many different and amazing fonts are included... this is going to be a go-to set for mixing and matching for sure!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the PARTY TIME SENTIMENTS stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new March Kraftin' Kimmie products! You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink line! It's a gorgeous new sunset yellow called... MORNING MARIGOLD! As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills!

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations! They are called CONFETTI and PARTY TIME BANNERS!

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordinating Krafty Dots for this release! The package includes 54 enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours! These ones are called PARTY TIME DOTS!

Scapbooking and Cards with Prima Capri!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge #521 - Tag, You're It!

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? This week the challenge for you is .... TAG, you're IT! I decided to use the new That's A Wrap stamp set on a preprinted tag from one of the SCT Magazine Sampler Packs! What a lovely way to dress up and personalize a pretty tag even more!

I coloured in this zen girl with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers after stamping on Bristol Cardstock. After I cut her out I popped her up on this lovely tag. adding some shiny blue thread underneath and a few Krafty Basics Dots.

On the backside I used the Stormy Sky Ink to stamp a 'Spa-cial' thanks sentiment from the set and a couple flowers. Two more dots add just a little pop of extra colour! This was such a quick and easy way to embellish a premade tag!

Kraftin' Kimmie March Skrappy Challenge - Sweet Bee Punch Board Box!

Hello stampers and krafty friends!! Welcome back to another month of Skrappy Fun at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!! I'm sharing a cute little gift box made with the Sweet As Can Bee Stamp Set and my We R Memory Keepers 123 Punch Board.

I really love the versatility of the punch board - I created the bow you see on top and this box very quickly - but you can also create various sizes and shapes of other boxes, envelopes, file folders and more. I just got this adorable Sweet As Can Bee Stamp Set and wanted to decorate the sides of the box before putting it together.

I used Copic Markers to colour in the images - Y17, Y15 and Y21 for the yellow layers, N4, N6 and N8 for the darker areas and a bit of BG10 for the wings and BG32 added in for the honey pot. I added a few highlights with a white gelly roll pen pen and a bit of stardust pen for glitter.

I love using navy for stamping, so I grabbed the Magical Midnight Krafty Kolours Ink to stamp the sentiments and images and I used Yummy Yellow to sponge the edges of the bow. A bit of Bubbly Blue Ink added a light stamped ink for the little dotted line image.

For this challenge you can make anything you want to....except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!! Just make sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

Foiled Hanging Tag!

Hello! Happy Monday! I'm over on the Southern Ridge Trading Company Blog today with a fun foiled hanging tag using a chipboard tag, Primitive Stars set and a 6x6" Star Stencil. I decided to play around with the DecoFoil Transfer Gel Duo and Pen to add foiling bling!! I am loving this gel and the possibilities.

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge #520 - For The Boys!

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! This week our challenge is FOR THE BOYS. This is a great challenge to get you crafting those masculine cards for big or little boys! I could definitely stand to create more of those types of cards, so this was a fun challenge for myself. I decided to use the cute hippo image and sentiments from Hip Hippo-ray! to decorate the front of my card, which is a little on the grungy side. I coloured the Hippo image in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, stamped on Bristol Cardstock. I love how many fun images there are in this set - if you missed last week's card challenge post you can find it HERE and I'm actually using a cute girly hippo!

I pulled out an older Kaisercraft 6 1/2x 6 1/2" paper pad and used some of the awesome patterned paper, borders and cut apart images in the pad to create a fun seaside feel to this card. I inked the edges of the polaroids with Creamy Caramel Krafty Kolours Ink and then used Lovely Lagoon with the Waves Stencil to add a little more colour to the watercolour background paper. The Magical Midnight Ink was perfect to stamp sentiments from the set on the front and inside polaroids. I splattered some Tim Holtz Mica Spray on various areas by removing the nozzle and tapping it over the paper.

Inside, I added the remainder of the sentiment strip cut from the patterned paper and another polaroid with "You're Kind Of A Big Deal" stamped inside. I added a few more metallic splatters, and my card is ready for a big or little guy's Big Day!
