Happy Halloween Layout - Collaboration!

Hello friends! I'm so excited to be back today to share a fun Halloween layout with you! I love Halloween... the candy, the costumes, the photos and all the fun paper crafts you can make for this fun holiday! But I'm really excited today to share an awesome collaboration I'm doing with my crafty friend, Jennifer Smith!! I think it's always awesome to get together with fellow makers and support each other. Jennifer is from Alberta too and she is a total sweetheart! I'd love for you to check her out - you can find her online at her Blog, Website, Facebook page and Instagram!! Here's a look at how this scrapbook page came together!

Below you can also check out the crafty 'haul' VIDEO showcasing the goodies I received from her so that I could share some projects created with the wonderful products from the current Close To My Heart Catalog. My first project for you is a sweet and not too spooky Halloween Layout using the awesome Got Candy Bundle, which includes a stamp set, paper pack, sticker sheet, coordinating cardstock & sequins!! (Don't forget to check out the video to see it close up!)

I love this pumpkin paper!! and there are so many ways you can coordinate the stamps & stickers! I used the Happy Halloween sticker as a title, mounted on some of the matching cardstock - seriously awesome Halloween colours... I grabbed some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray Paints to add some fun paint splatters on the background and layered on my matted photos. 

The sequins are so awesome, with the creepy crawly spiders, cute ghosts and shiny pumpkins - along with several sizes of round sequins in matching colours. I used some Distress Oxide Inks to stamp onto the tags I diecut from the cardstock pages. I even added one of the zip strips from the bottom of the page as border accents under the pumpkin paper!

Squeeze The Day Lemonade Card!

My girls always love having a lemonade stand, but making lemonade at home and celebrating with a cute card will have to do this year! Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps June New Release Sneak Peeks- Day 1- What's The Scoop?!

The weather is getting warmer and sunnier! So how about a New SUMMERTIME Release?! The JUNE Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps begins NOW! Welcome to Day ONE of our June Krafty Peeks! We are ready to celebrate and inspire you with THREE new stamp sets, TWO new stencils, a brand new INK colour and some new Krafty DOTS! Who's ready to PAR-TEE!!!?!

We're kicking off the krafty fun with an ADORABLE set from artist NEDA SADREDDIN and it's called..... WHAT'S THE SCOOP?! These sassy gals are ready for the sunshine by the ocean or by the pool!  And check out their 'crabby' pal!  It's a 4x6 stamp set featuring several main images, some accessory stamps and some awesome sunshiny sentiments!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the WHAT'S THE SCOOP? stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new JUNE Kraftin' Kimmie products! I decided to use the adorable girl and crab floating on inner tubes for my card today! And I figured they would look super cute in this beach scene with matching donut floaties!!

I ink blended the background using Krafty Kolours Inks in Summer Sunshine, Pretty In Pink and Sparkling Sapphire, adding extra inky layers at the bottom using the waves on the NEW KRAFTY SCENERY 3! This scenery stencil is definitely going to be a go-to!! I used the sun part of the stencil to add Gina K Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel for a sparkly sunshine! Some Glossy Accents add a bit of shine to the glasses and ice cream scoops too.

I used patterned paper to paper piece the floaties, sunglasses and the cute bikini, and then I popped up the images with foam dots. Then I added an embossed sentiment from the set - how cute is that?!! and some coordinating NEW SEASHORE DOTS.

You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow!  It's a beautiful warm brown named SANDY SHORES! As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills! 

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations! They are called KRAFTY SCENERY 3 and NAUTICAL NETTING!

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordinating Krafty Dots for this release! The package includes enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours! These ones are called SEASHORE DOTS!

You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of June Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Online Release Party in the Krafty Friends facebook group on Saturday, June 13th at 2 pm EST!

Penguin Mom & Baby Birthday Card!

Hey there friends! I'm so happy to be back today to share a card I'm showcasing on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog using the super cute Penguin Mom and Baby digital stamp in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop! I sent this to a friend for her birthday, but I think you could just as easily send out some adorable Mother's Day Cards with these cuties! I actually took the time to send 3 cards out this week, and even though it was a small thing it had a dual purpose - I thoroughly enjoyed making and then it made me happy to do something nice for someone else. I think I'll be sending out a lot more cards while we are all in self-isolation to just connect and bring a little joy to others.

I created a fun fold, which is completely explained on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog, but this is a look at the inside of the card when it's opened up. I simply typed a sentiment on my computer and printed it out before diecutting.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March New Release Hop & Shop!

WOOHOO! Today we are celebrating all the new PARTY TIME goodies that will be available on Sunday at noon EST from our MARCH Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All THREE new clear stamp sets will be available over at the Krafty Shop, along with our scrumptious new MORNING MARIGOLD ink, TWO new Krafty Stencils and our new Party Time Krafty Dots! Yaaaay! For my card I'm using the adorable NEW Party Piggies Stamp Set and combining it with the NEW Party Time Sentiments Set to create a fun card ready to send special birthday wishes!

I stamped this cutie and the balloons with Wicked Black Krafty Kolours Ink and coloured with Copic Markers. The balloons from the Party Time Sentiments Set are just perfect to add to any sweet character! I also love the accessories included in the Party Piggies Set - such as this fun sparkler! I decided to give this guy sprinkled vanilla icing on chocolate cake, but just imagine the yummy possibilities!

I used some fun Pebbles Happy Hooray Paper and embossed the Confetti Stencil over some bright striped paper - adding in a couple cute sentiments and gold embossing the stars from the set. The Party Time Krafty Dots are in nice bright colours and add to the festive feel.

Inside, I lightly stenciled the NEW Confetti Stencil and stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment and solid balloons from the Party Time Sentiments set. Adding just a bit of orange coloured pencil to shade the balloons that I stamped with our NEW Morning Marigold Ink adds some fun dimension to the image!

Our brand NEW Stamp Sets include: PARTY TIME SENTIMENTS!, PARTY PIGGIES! and ZOODLES! We have a brand new Hybrid Ink colour in the large ink pad, mini cube and ink refill called MORNING MARIGOLD! There are two new stencils: CONFETTI and PARTY TIME BANNERS! And lastly we've got a vibrant and coordinating new set of Krafty Dots called PARTY TIME DOTS!

Kraftin' Kimmie March Skrappy Challenge - Sweet Bee Punch Board Box!

Hello stampers and krafty friends!! Welcome back to another month of Skrappy Fun at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!! I'm sharing a cute little gift box made with the Sweet As Can Bee Stamp Set and my We R Memory Keepers 123 Punch Board.

I really love the versatility of the punch board - I created the bow you see on top and this box very quickly - but you can also create various sizes and shapes of other boxes, envelopes, file folders and more. I just got this adorable Sweet As Can Bee Stamp Set and wanted to decorate the sides of the box before putting it together.

I used Copic Markers to colour in the images - Y17, Y15 and Y21 for the yellow layers, N4, N6 and N8 for the darker areas and a bit of BG10 for the wings and BG32 added in for the honey pot. I added a few highlights with a white gelly roll pen pen and a bit of stardust pen for glitter.

I love using navy for stamping, so I grabbed the Magical Midnight Krafty Kolours Ink to stamp the sentiments and images and I used Yummy Yellow to sponge the edges of the bow. A bit of Bubbly Blue Ink added a light stamped ink for the little dotted line image.

For this challenge you can make anything you want to....except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!! Just make sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge #520 - For The Boys!

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! This week our challenge is FOR THE BOYS. This is a great challenge to get you crafting those masculine cards for big or little boys! I could definitely stand to create more of those types of cards, so this was a fun challenge for myself. I decided to use the cute hippo image and sentiments from Hip Hippo-ray! to decorate the front of my card, which is a little on the grungy side. I coloured the Hippo image in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, stamped on Bristol Cardstock. I love how many fun images there are in this set - if you missed last week's card challenge post you can find it HERE and I'm actually using a cute girly hippo!

I pulled out an older Kaisercraft 6 1/2x 6 1/2" paper pad and used some of the awesome patterned paper, borders and cut apart images in the pad to create a fun seaside feel to this card. I inked the edges of the polaroids with Creamy Caramel Krafty Kolours Ink and then used Lovely Lagoon with the Waves Stencil to add a little more colour to the watercolour background paper. The Magical Midnight Ink was perfect to stamp sentiments from the set on the front and inside polaroids. I splattered some Tim Holtz Mica Spray on various areas by removing the nozzle and tapping it over the paper.

Inside, I added the remainder of the sentiment strip cut from the patterned paper and another polaroid with "You're Kind Of A Big Deal" stamped inside. I added a few more metallic splatters, and my card is ready for a big or little guy's Big Day!

KraftIn’ Kimmie February New Release HOP & SHOP!

WOOHOO! Today we are celebrating all the new goodies that will be available this afternoon from our FEBRUARY Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All THREE new clear stamp sets will be available over at the Krafty Shop, along with our new MAGICAL MIDNIGHT ink, TWO new Krafty Stencils and our new Heavenly Krafty Dots right after our Release Party in the Krafty Friends Facebook Group at 2 PM EST!  Yaaaay! Today, you'll get to see all the creative ways the Design Team has come up with to share these new products from the February Release again - if you missed inspiration from Day 1, Day 2 or Day 3 be sure to check it out, along with the VIDEOS! You'll find many ways to inspire you to use these awesome sets.  Today, I've chosen to use the adorably sweet Pretty Fly Stamp Set and create an interactive card!

I used Copic Markers to colour up this adorable family of birdies in a rainbow of colours and added them to a background of Pinkfresh Just A Little Lovely 6x6 paper. I love the mixed media look of this! I used the Lawn Fawn Let's Toast Pull Tab to add an interactive element to the front of the card. When you pull the tab, out flies the little birdie!!💜 🐦

This is such an adorable set! I love how many ways you can create with it. I stamped one of the sentiments included in the set on another watercolour background paper with the NEW Magical Midnight Ink and created a little banner.

 A few of the NEW Heavenly Krafty Dots placed on the bottom right of the card add just a few more pops of colour and dimension! Of course, I had to add rosy cheeks to my birdies. They look so happy, and I'm definitely feeling the Spring vibe now!

 Inside, I used the NEW Fabulous Feathers Stencil and sponged on Charming Chartreuse, Green Goblin and the NEW Magical Midnight Inks. Now the card is ready to personalize with any sentiment I need!
