Hello friends! I'm over on the Wild Whisper Blog today sharing a MemoryDex card! It was inspired by the SCT MemoryDex 101 Class from Scrapbook & Cards Today. Week 4 is all about using stamping on your cards and I love all the ways to use the beautiful new Nicole Wright Designs Script & Ledger Stamps. I also really love a good cup of tea, so what better way to join in the challenge than making it about tea and stamping! I may have also stocked up on the new Fall and Halloween teas at David's Tea!
I added in some Ledger & Script paper as well as some ephemera and journaling cards and even a bit of Tim Holtz goodness!

Hey friends! I'm over on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog today with a cute reveal wheel card featuring the adorable What's On The Table Digi Stamp. I almost can't believe it, but this is the first time I've actually used a reveal wheel!! What a fun stamp set to use it with too, with so many cute little accessories included! I used a fun Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps confetti stencil for a party background, Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers and Studio Katia gems for a bit of bling!
Howdy! I thought I'd share a fun series we are starting on the Scrap Shotz Facebook Page - Chat & Craft, which is chatting and crafting, he he! I edited the video for YouTube below, and you can check out some fun techniques and tips when using the beautiful NEW Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Glazes as well as follow along to create a beautiful stamped and embossed tag.
I pulled out these beautiful stamps from the Tim Holtz Modern Christmas Stamp set to create two pretty tags. I really love this set and most of the images can be used for more than just Christmas!
We even embossed on some pretty diecut ephemera pieces! These ones are from the Tim Holtz Botanical Set, but who doesn't have lots of ephemera laying around?!
The Embossing Glazes also worked beautifully on gold metal brads and some Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers... oh so many ideas!

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. This week the challenge is LOVE/FRIENDSHIP! Since Valentines Day is fast approaching I wanted to make a sweet Valentine using the adorable You're Gnawsome images along with a tree stump from the Whimsical Gnomes set. These cute beavers are one of the New Releases for January - and they sold out in record time - so thank goodness they are back in stock!!

I started off by stamping my images with Wicked Black Krafty Kolours Ink and then colouring with Copic Markers. I added a few white gel pen dots and dashes for highlights and fussy cut them out. This beautiful paper is designed by Nicole Wright and just released by Wild Whisper! I couldn't wait to use it on this card!! I love the way the sun turned out, stamped with Yummy Yellow Ink for an almost no-line look!
I used both Krafty Scenery Stencils to create grass, trees and clouds (sponged with Enchanting Emerald, Green Goblin & Bubbly Blue) on this fun textured paper that I cut into a heart shape with a Sizzix dotted die. The dots made it easy to add some neat stitching around the edge. The Tim Holtz Valentine Side Order dies worked great with the fun mixed media look papers, and the little envelopes were perfect to add a few stamped love notes to.
I tucked one of the cute love letters under this guy's tail and added glittery Stardust gel pen and Glossy Accents to various areas. I embossed the cute, punny sentiment with white embossing powder and added Pastel and Lovey Krafty Dots for even more embellishment!
Inside, I cut a banner from more of Nicole Wright's paper and stamped another sentiment from the set. This is such a great set and would be totally cute for Anniversaries, Birthdays, Woodland Themes and Friend Cards too!

Hello! Well, Christmas is coming in 51 sleeps... yeah my 7 year old made me download the app! I figured I should do some stress-free Christmas crafting before that realization hits that you have 5 teacher gifts and 10 stocking stuffers to make in two days, lol. So, I was at a crop over the weekend and decided to enjoy making a lovely and peaceful tag using some fun supplies from the Southern Ridge Trading Company Shop. I pulled out a Chipboard Tag, 3x3 Star Stencil, Soda Fizz Stencil, Words Of Christmas

I dug into my Halloween stash to find whatever worked! This Simple Stories pumpkin sticker was just the right size for one of these girls to hold. I coloured their outfits with Distress Crayons and I love the vintage look.
Stickles added in different areas give a sparkly effect - I firmly believe every event needs sparkle!
Emerald Creek Craft Supplies Embossing Powders add neat touches to stamped images as well as random areas that just need a touch of blood. I love how my new Studio Katia pumpkin border stamp fits on the sides of the house.

Hello! Well, I'm back today with Day 9 of the 13 Days Of Halloween Series on YouTube! As we creep closer to the big day I'm sharing some home decor ideas using the Tim Holtz Vignette Boxes and Toppers in combination with the Simple Stories Simply Vintage Halloween collection. I love the way these products mix and match to give just the right vintage, spooky feel!
I've been wanting to use these cute box toppers for a while, and I'm so glad I did! It's so easy to put your own spin on decorating these - adding as much or as little extras as you like.
I even grabbed a little Tim Holtz wood slice for my pumpkin to sit on. I found that hot glue made it easier to attach the wood as well as the box toppers to the boxes. I added a bit of stenciling to the paper in the background and even some sparkly Moonstone Tonic paste, which I am loving!!

Hello! Well, I must admit it doesn't feel much like Halloween anymore - we just got another snowstorm and it feels more like Christmas! Hopefully it will be much nicer when October 31st comes around though. We always have to take into account whether the girls will have to wear winter gear under their costumes, and I think this year's outfits will be perfect for that! (scroll down to see what they'll be wearing) Today, for the 13 Days Of Halloween Series on YouTube I made some fun Halloween Tags with my Cricut Maker and used the We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill to add a foiled sentiment to the back.
I used both gold foil and the Foil Quill along with a silver Cricut gel pen to add my sentiment to the back side of the tags. I chose to colour in one with gel pen and leave the other as an outline.
Distress Oxide Inks add some shading and highlights to the cardstock edges. The Tim Holtz Chit Chat Occasions stickers add spooky wishes to the front.
I decorated the front of the tags with Studio Katia and Buttons Galore and More sequins and gems for a bit of bling, and then added a coordinating piece of baker's twine.
I even spritzed the pumpkin and owl with sparkly Dylusions Mica Sprays for some extra Halloween shine!

I let my girls do the decorating this year and this is how our mantel looks. I think they did a great job! How many projects can you spot from previous years?!!
And here's a look at the costumes they chose this year. I'm not sure if we were hungry when we went shopping or what, lol... These will work at a Halloween Party inside or over winter jackets outdoors, so that's a win-win!
Hello again friends! I have had a busy week this week!! We had a wonderful Canada Day earlier this week, celebrating downtown at some local City activities and the kids have been loving their first full week of summer holidays! For my project this week I'm using the super cute Little Easter Bunnies digi stamp from The Paper Shelter. I decided to grab my coloured pencils to colour in this sweet image that I cut out with a stitched circle die.
I heat embossed a Lawn Fawn Happy Easter sentiment on black cardstock and cut the ends to create a banner before layering it over the circle. I think it looks a bit like a snow globe! Seeing as it is actually snowing... boo... here, maybe that's fitting, lol. I'm really hoping we get some lovely warm spring weather soon. Maybe these bunnies will bring it 😉
Inside, I stamped another Lawn Fawn sentiment in black ink. I've really loved using this sentiment this year!
I used Distress Oxides on the cardbase to create a rainbow effect and then layered a Your Next Stamp looped stitched die across each colour cut with Tim Holtz Metallic Confection Cardstock. I love this stuff!! A few pretty sequins and gems from a Buttons Galore mix finish off the card, and it's ready to pop in the mail.
