Wish Layout with Altered Chipboard!

Hello! I sure hope you had an awesome weekend! It was a little drizzly Sunday here so we stayed in our p.j's and did stuff around the house, crafting, a little cleaning... and enjoyed a bit of a lazy day. Today, I'm giving you a look at the layout that I'm sharing on the Southern Ridge Trading Company blog today using their gorgeous chipboard and stencil from the shop. I love this photo of Erica just taking the time to pick up a dandelion and blow the seeds. It reminds me how important it is to take time to connect with nature.

Here's a look at the video where you can see exactly how I altered the chipboard and put everything together:

Up To No Good Scrapbook Layout!

Hello and happy Friday! Wow, this week went fast. The kiddo's are starting March break tomorrow and we are looking forward to having some downtime, pajama days and hopefully enjoying the Spring Weather. This week has been absolutely gorgeous - the kids even wore shorts to school. The weather is showing slightly cooler temps next week, but I don't think Erica's going to be at all ok with going back to pants! Today, I'm over on the Wild Whisper Designs Blog sharing this fun layout using the new March Fandom collection . This has been a really fun one to work with, and I'm especially happy with how this layout turned out. I used lots of different fan elements on this page, but in a different way than they were intended. I couldn't help using the Star Wars reference to describe Erica, lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Wild Whisper Designs Blog to see all the details and closeups, and have an awesome weekend ahead 💛

Retro Sleepover Layout!

Hello! I hope you've had a great week so far with lots of crafty time! I actually haven't done much crafting this week, but I still feel like I had a productive week. Obviously, I'm basing my productivity on being crafty most days, lol, but sometimes I feel like focusing on other things - this week I finally got my curtains hemmed and ironed that I bought at Ikea 2 months ago... 😲, put out some Easter decor, did a bunch of small cleaning tasks I'd been putting off, and actually took time to sit and read a magazine (currently loving Daphne's Diary 💓) with a cup of tea - makes me feel rejuvenated and ready to craft even more. So, that's been my lovely week, and now I'm back to show you a retro slumber party layout I am sharing on the Wild Whisper blog today using the new March Collection from Wild Whisper Designs - Fandom! My sister and I (I'm the 3rd from the right in the photo on the right) had the best sleepovers! I really do appreciate how much work this was for my mom, how she never got after us for being noisy and let us have fun. As you can see, dressing up was definitely one of our go-to activities, lol.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your weekend is lovely - whether that involves doing something crafty or just spending time doing something that makes you happy. Be sure to head over to the Wild Whisper blog to get all the details, closeups and a supply list for this layout. Don't forget to use the code DTKARLA to save 10% in the Wild Whisper Designs Shop!!

Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! It's time for the midweek inspiration for Challenge #138 over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!

Challenge #138

Super big thanks to our sponsors for this challenge,
Fabrika Fantasy -

WInk WInk Ink -

I just couldn't resist creating one more project with our sponsors' adorable images for this challenge, and this week I'm using the sweet Pup In Boots digital stamp from Wink Wink Ink. I grabbed some pretty spring papers from the SCT Sampler Pack and layered them on a kraft cardstock base.

After colouring this cutie with Copics and Prismacolor Markers I fussy cut him out to give the look of a stamped and diecut image. I added some pretty Close To My Heart and Buttons Galore and More embellishments and a diecut flower to finish it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Challenge Blog to see what all the other amazing designers came up with and enter your own Animal project in for a chance to win.
