Explosion Boxes with Wild Whisper Paper and WRMK Explosion Board!

Hello friends! I'm over on the Wild Whisper Blog today sharing some fun explosion boxes!! These are seriously so awesome to make with the New We R Memory Keepers Explosion Board! I got out some of the beautiful bright Pam Bray Sensations and Simplicity Paper Collections along with some Play In The Dirt Ephemera and Sequins. I originally filmed this Live on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Facebook Page and decided to share it today here!

I used some of the cut apart elements in the paper packs for the lid and added ephemera and sequins. I love the sentiments that come in the ephemera pack!

You can create boxes & lids in 7 different sizes, explosion boxes with instructions for flaps for pockets, gatefold cards and squash cards with the Explosion Board! I decided to go with a motivational/nature theme for these boxes. You could add photos and many more embellishments.

Here's a look at one more explosion box I created with these same supplies!

I just love the bright colours and how the different Wild Whisper collections can mix and match!

Here's a look at the VIDEO where you can see exactly how to put an explosion box together and get a closeup look at both these pretty boxes!

Magical Memories Collected Layout!

Hello friends! I'm back today with a magical layout using some fun Close To My Heart products!  I've been doing a fun collab with my friend Jennifer Smith and sharing some creative projects using some of the awesome supplies in her Shop!! I'd love for you to check her out - you can find her online at her BlogWebsiteFacebook page and Instagram! The December SCT Sampler also had some fun CTMH products included this month and I thought it would be fun to combine them!! A friend gave me a beautiful gift basket this year, which included so many thoughtful items! One of them is this fabulous nutcracker. She has given me various nutcrackers over the past few years and now I officially have a collection!

I used the CTMH Wood Grain Paper as the background for my layout. I absolutely love this paper pack!! There are so many wood grains to choose from in many different shades! I also love using them as backgrounds to photograph cards on, so I'm very happy there are two of each double sided paper per pack! I pulled some snowflakes out of the Jolly Characters Stamp Set and heat embossed them with Wow Wanderlust Embossing Powder, which is glittery and almost iridescent.

The  Jingle Joy Paper is so beautiful, with soft colours on one side and black and white prints on the other! This can definitely be used for any season just by flipping it over to use the other side. I followed a Sketches In Thyme scrapbook sketch and added in some Oh What Fun Complements Stickers. I do love the Stamp Of The Month feature from CTMH where each month you can get a beautiful full size stamp set at a fabulous discount with a minimum purchase. I used the September 'Here For The Memories' stamp set around the page.

I used my Cricut Maker to cut out the Nutcracker Soldier design #MF9C5BCB in Cricut Design Space - free with Cricut Access, using the Jingle Joy and Wood Grain Papers to add a finishing detail to the page.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out Jennifer and all the fun things in the CTMH Shop! I hope you have an amazing week friends!

Christmas JOY Card!

Hello friends! I'm back today with a cute Christmas Card using the adorable Jolly Characters Stamp Set and Comfort and Joy Paper from Close To My Heart! Now this particular paper has sold out, but there are so many beautiful paper packs to choose from - you could easily create this project using any of them! Over the past couple months I've been doing a fun collab with my friend Jennifer Smith and sharing some creative projects using some of the awesome supplies in her Shop!! I'd love for you to check her out - you can find her online at her BlogWebsiteFacebook page and Instagram! These adorable mini characters are so quick to colour to make up some quick and easy cards! I used my Cricut Maker to cut out the shaped card design #MB2A9C in Cricut Design Space - free with Cricut Access -and used the pretty Comfort and Joy Paper to cut layers for a candy cane that looks good enough to eat!

I used some Distress Oxide Ink to stamp the little shining star stamps from the Jolly Characters Stamp Set in the background before layering on some stickers to spell the word JOY. I added in the adorable reindeer coloured with Copics and used foam dots to pop them up to add dimension. Some pretty Stickles decorate the holly berries, and I even used some of the white, clear and silver sequins from the Got Candy Sequin Pack to finish up with a little more bling. If you still have a few more cards to get out you might just want to try this one for a fast and fun project!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out Jennifer and all the fun things in the CTMH Shop! I hope you have an amazing week friends!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps December Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends! It's December and that means it's time for a brand new SKRAPPY CHALLENGE with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD! I decided to create a planner spread - because I definitely can use a little extra organization as December begins!! I pulled out the brand NEW Planner Doodles stamp set along with the fabulous Perfect Planner set and the adorable Krafty Elves. You'll even get a peek of that fantastic Magical Mosaic Stencil and various Krafty Kolours Inks!

I started off by stencilling with the Magical Mosaic Stencil and by using a small dabber I was able to control where I stencilled - using the snowflake pattern you can see in this awesome design. I then added some Mildliner Highlighter and various images and sentiments from both the Planner Doodles and Perfect Planner sets.

Lastly, I stamped the sweet Krafty Elves onto white sticker paper, coloured them with Copics and fussy cut around them for custom stickers. I grabbed a few Doodlebug stickers from my stash and finished up the week. I feel ready to start December off on a roll!!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Christmas!

Hello friends! I'm so excited to be kicking off the 12 Days of Krafty Christmas over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog with Day #1!! Each day, for the next 12 days, the KKS blog will be featuring cards from the last year and today I'm sharing a new creation I've made with one of last January's stamp sets - You're Gnaw-some, along with the Petite Posies stencil. I decided to make this card into a Christmas card by adding some festive stamps from the Elf-tacular stamp set too!!

I used some Bubbly Blue Krafty Kolours Ink behind the beautiful Petite Posies stencil and then added Nuvo Moonstone Glitter Paste for extra sparkle. I glued on some pretty pearls in the center and I'm thinking they look like gorgeous snowflakes!!

I love these two characters and how much they are obviously in love!! I tucked in some accessories after colouring everything with Copics and placed them on a snowy bank. Obviously, this set is not just for Valentines, but is super cute for that too!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog over the next 12 days, where you'll find a link to enter your own creations you made with fun goodies from 2020 from the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop and you'll be able to leave a comment for a chance to win Krafty $'s!!
