To qualify for the prize,
be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.
If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images. If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!
This week I'm using the Speaking Of Winter Cricut cartridge, along with the Winter Village and Winter Fox Lawn Fawn stamp sets, to create two mini winter cards. When I think of winter colours I think blues and purples, so I grabbed some of those colours of cardstock and after cutting with my Cricut Explore I grabbed some Distress Oxide Inks to add just a little more colour. I stamped the cute Lawn Fawn houses on white cardstock and coloured them in with Prismacolor and Hobby Colour markers, which are alcohol based. A little bit of white gel pen adds some snowy highlights to the tiny trees, and some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins add a bit more shine!
The next card has a fun fold and the snowflake tucks into a little cut on the right side to close it. I popped up the middle snowflake layer after adding extra Distress Oxide Inks and splattering again with the Chalk Mist.
Here's a look at the stamp sets I used on the inside, which I stamped with the sentiment from the Winter Fox set using Distress Oxide Ink. I love using this ink for stamping! You can find a large assortment of sequins and crafty goodies (such as the stitched square dies above) at the
SpiegelMom Scraps shop, and if you use the code KARLA15 you can save 15% off your purchase there!
