Gerda Steiner Adventure Bunny!

Hello! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I had some time to colour up a cute little critter from Gerda Steiner Designs -  Bunny With Camera Digital Stamp. I decided to go with some Neutral Grey's, but I think he'd look sweet in lots of other colours! I picked out some papers from the Scrapbook & Cards Today Woodland Grove Kit and matched his cute camera to the teal blue's in the kit. He looked like he was on an adventure, so this sentiment from one of the cut apart pages worked perfectly. I even found a little Doodlebug Design puffy sticker (I think I'm obsessed with puffy stickers right now!) that simply had to go on!

You can catch more details and closeups on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog, and find lots of awesome clear and digi stamps in the GSD Shop! I hope you have an amazing, crafty week friends!

Warm Wishes Snowman Card!

Hello! I am over on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog today sharing this cute winter card using the Snowman and Birds Digital Stamp from the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop. I love using snowmen on holiday cards, but this guy would work perfectly all winter long! I printed him out along with a hand-typed sentiment using the Miss Sasha font from Miss Kate Cuttables. There are so many awesome fonts available on your computer or online that you'll never run out of options for sentiments. I coloured the image in with Copics and layered all the pieces on some BoBunny paper from my stash, creating a lovely, wintry card!

Hello! I am over on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog today with a sweet Thank You card using the adorable Gerda Steiner Designs Ice Skating Mouse digital stamp . This would be a lovely Thanksgiving card as well, or with a quick paper swap a cute holiday card! I used the pretty papers and embellishments from the November SCT Sampler Pack and a sketch from the SCT Fall 2019 Sketches (check out the sketch at the bottom of the post). I even matched the little outfits on the mice to the paper 😉 Honestly, what could be cuter than an animal in a sweater!!

I used the Studio Katia Autumn Borders Stamp to add a sentiment on the outside and inside of the card. BTW, Studio Katia is having an amazing sale right now.... just sayin'! Use code BF2019 to save 38% until November 30/19 - check out the details and any current promos HERE.

Be sure to head over to the  Gerda Steiner Designs Blog for all the details and closeups!! You'll find out how I turned one digi stamp into two mice skating together! Cupcake Wishes Triangle Fold Card!

Hey friends! I'm over on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog today to share a cute cupcake birthday card with you all using the Let's Eat Cupcake digital stamp. This little guy is currently FREE so you'll definitely want to grab him! I brought out my Copic Markers and coloured him up with a fun and yummy cupcake - perfect for a birthday card. I used the Mama Elephant Birthday Messages Stamp Set to add the 'cupcake wishes' sentiment and the inside sentiment as well that says 'have a sweet birthday'. These fun papers are by Doodlebug Design and were included with the August SCT Sampler Pack. Of course I had to add some pretty SpiegelMom Scraps Sequins! (Be sure to use the code KARLA15 to save 15% off in the SMS Shop)

This is a triangle fold card, which is super easy - basically, you are scoring an 8 1/2"x11" piece of cardstock at 5 1/2" on the long edge and 4 1/4" on the short edge and then cutting it from corner to corner. The flaps then fold in to create your card front. You'll get two cards front one sheet of cardstock.

Snail Mail!

Hello! Well things have been moving fast over the summer here with the kids out of school, but obviously slow on my blog! We've been doing lots of summer activities around our neighborhood and even went camping this past week. I really enjoyed taking to the time to create this cute snail mail card using the super sweet Snail Mail Digital Stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs.

I coloured the image with Copic Markers and added some white gel pen highlights. I used a nesting heart die from Sizzix that adds pierced holes around the edge. I just love sitting and stitching and this was so easy and relaxing! I used a Tim Holtz envelope die from the Valentine Sidekick set and added some Glossy Accents to the hearts. A few sequins scattered around the shaped card add just a little more bling!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Design Blog to see all the details and get lots of inspiration. You can find lots of fun stamps - digi and clear - in the shop. Hope you're having a great summer and having a little time to create as well!

I coloured this cute bee using Copic Markers and then fussy cut it out before adding gel pen highlights and foam tape to pop it up.

I diecut some clouds using the Studio Katia Sky Set Borders Dies and lightly brushed them with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink on the edge. I layered it on some honeycomb patterned paper from my stash and even inlaid a sun using Tim Holtz Metallic cardstock and the SK die. A few Studio Katia Gold Sparkle Crystals scattered around the card add just a little more bling! Kitty Bee Designs #140 - Easter!

Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! I've had lots of fun creating projects lately and here's one more for you!  It's time for the midweek inspiration for Challenge #140 over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!

Challenge #140
Easter!

Super big thanks to our sponsor for this challenge

The Paper Shelter - http://www.thepapershelter.com

For my project this week I'm using the super cute Little Easter Bunnies digi stamp from The Paper Shelter. I decided to grab my coloured pencils to colour in this sweet image that I cut out with a stitched circle die.

I heat embossed a Lawn Fawn Happy Easter sentiment on black cardstock and cut the ends to create a banner before layering it over the circle. I think it looks a bit like a snow globe! Seeing as it is actually snowing... boo... here, maybe that's fitting, lol. I'm really hoping we get some lovely warm spring weather soon. Maybe these bunnies will bring it 😉

Inside, I stamped another Lawn Fawn sentiment in black ink. I've really loved using this sentiment this year!

I used Distress Oxides on the cardbase to create a rainbow effect and then layered a Your Next Stamp looped stitched die across each colour cut with Tim Holtz Metallic Confection Cardstock. I love this stuff!! A few pretty sequins and gems from a Buttons Galore mix finish off the card, and it's ready to pop in the mail.

Kitty Bee Designs #138 - Animals!

Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! It's time for the inspiration for Challenge #138 over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!

Challenge #138
Animals!

Super big thanks to our sponsors for this challenge,
Fabrika Fantasy - http://www.fabrikafantasy.com/
and

This week I'm sharing a sweet card using the Cute Bear Cub 1 Digital Stamp from Fabrika Fantasy. I started off by using my dot embossing folder with a piece of patterned paper. I often forget about embossing patterned papers instead of plain cardstock, but I love how it turned out! I was playing around with my SCT Sampler Pack filled with pretty papers, stamps and embellishments- and had a lot of fun combining the lovely spring colours.

I was practicing a fur colouring technique and like the cute fuzzy look. I added some Stickles to his balloon and added some Buttons Galore and More sequin embellishments onto the background tag cut with a Your Next Stamp die. A bit of Distress Oxide Ink adds a little colour to soften the white tag.

I embossed the Happy stamp with an Emerald Creek Craft Supplies powder onto a Vicki Boutin cardstock clip and added a little heart sticker. A cross stitch border diecut adds detail to the layered paper.
