Hello! I hope you're all doing well! I'm over on the Scrap Shotz Blog today with another fun and bright layout using the fabulous Simple Stories Kate & Ash Collection! I have so many ideas of many more layouts to create with this line!! I used the pretty florals and feathers and made a layout of my girls playing at a park on a camping trip at Gull Lake, Alberta. I used one of the layout sketches from a Jennifer Edwardson Use Your Own Paper Class, which are a go to for me! Woot! Woot! Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new 'trendy' things in our JULY Release that are NOW AVAILABLE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop! All FOUR of our new stamp sets along with two new stencils, our stunning new hybrid ink colour, Fresh Fields and sweet new Summer Krafty Dots were released yesterday and we're excited to share everything with you in a fabulous blog hop!
I decided to combine the adorable BE A MERMAID! set with the super cute LONG IN THE TOOTH! set to make a sweet slimline card! I used Copics to colour up all the images - I love the dolphins included in the mermaid set!
The cute little walrus in the porthole has a wonderful striped shirt and sea-worthy cap - and I even added one of the extra hats from that walrus set onto the mermaid! I used the SHE SELLS SEASHELLS Stencil with some Krafty Kolours Ink, including the brand new FRESH FIELDS Green Ink, to stencil some shells which I fussy cut and added to the card.
I stamped the fun Let's Shell-abrate! sentiment with the Fresh Fields Ink again and added a few hand-drawn pen highlights. Some sequins from my stash and the awesome new SUMMER DOTS finish off the card that was cut with a Pinkfresh slimline die.

I used this month's NEW She Sells SeaShells Stencil - yup, you know I'm going to mess that one up in a Live, lol - with Deco Foil Duo Gel and Lapis Watercolor Foil Transfer Sheets. I am crazy about this seashell pattern!! A few gems from my stash and the lovely NEW Summer Krafty Dots finish off the card!

Today we've got an incredibly magical new stamp set for you! We've got a brilliant new collection of fantastic images from artist Sabrina van Vloten! It's called....BE A MERMAID! I mean...who DOESN'T wanna be a mermaid? This sweet new set features FIVE mermaid images (including an awesome mer-dude) plus some underwater friends, accessory stamps and some coordinating sentiments!
Check out BE A MERMAID in action as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today! You'll also see the new stencils, new ink and new dots along the way!! For today's project I'm using two of these adorable mermaids- seriously, I can't believe how many there are along with stingrays and dolphins 🐬 - to create an underwater scene. I decided to create a textured background using the NEW SHE SELLS SEASHELLS Stencil with Distress Grit Paste over top of a piece of cardstock that I first sponged with Sandy Shores, Totally Taupe & Lovely Lagoon Krafty Kolours Inks. After the Grit Paste dried I sponged over it with Sandy Shores on the bottom half and the NEWFRESH FIELDS Ink to highlight the raised areas.
I coloured in all these sweet images with Copics and added some white and stardust gel pen highlights. I used some Copper Pearl Opal Polish to add some shimmery sunrays to the water using our Summer Sunbeams Stencil.
I just love the little seashells included with this set! I added them to various areas of the card and added a fun sentiment from the set!

It's our FINAL day of June Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Are you READY for more summer FUN?! Everything you've seen us share this week will be released this afternoon (Saturday) after our LIVE online party! All the new goodies will be available at 3pm EST!
We are closing out the festivities with a brand new adorable stamp set from artist Becky Pearce called.... TURTLEY AWESOME! OH my gosh, how cute are these TURTLES!?! I ask you? These little sweeties are having fun at the beach! There are four main turtles, little accessory stamps for all the seaside fun plus a cute little ducky pal! And don't forget all the incredible coordinating sentiments!
For today's project I couldn't choose just one of these cuties, so I decided to use 3 of them, sitting on the beach having a blast!! I chose a slimline card design and cut out a circle from a piece of cardstock to create a mask to use with the New Nautical Netting Stencil. I also used one of the circles from the So Many Circles Stencil for the area under the sweet little birdie! This technique creates a two in one stencil effect - great for spotlighting different areas. I used the New Sandy Shores Ink along with Salty Sea Ink for a beachy feel.
The New Krafty Scenery 3 Stencil was perfect to add more summertime elements with the bright sunshine, umbrella and waves using various Krafty Kolours Inks. I used Copic Markers to colour in these sweet turtles and added some white gel pen highlights for detail.
I stamped one of the cute sentiments along the bottom with Wicked Black Ink to wish one of my besties a very special birthday 😉🎂 Lastly, I added in a few of the New Seashore Dots with those fun seashell and starfish accessories!

We're kicking off the krafty fun with an ADORABLE set from artist NEDA SADREDDIN and it's called..... WHAT'S THE SCOOP?! These sassy gals are ready for the sunshine by the ocean or by the pool! And check out their 'crabby' pal! It's a 4x6 stamp set featuring several main images, some accessory stamps and some awesome sunshiny sentiments!
As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the WHAT'S THE SCOOP? stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new JUNE Kraftin' Kimmie products! I decided to use the adorable girl and crab floating on inner tubes for my card today! And I figured they would look super cute in this beach scene with matching donut floaties!!
I ink blended the background using Krafty Kolours Inks in Summer Sunshine, Pretty In Pink and Sparkling Sapphire, adding extra inky layers at the bottom using the waves on the NEW KRAFTY SCENERY 3! This scenery stencil is definitely going to be a go-to!! I used the sun part of the stencil to add Gina K Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel for a sparkly sunshine! Some Glossy Accents add a bit of shine to the glasses and ice cream scoops too.
I used patterned paper to paper piece the floaties, sunglasses and the cute bikini, and then I popped up the images with foam dots. Then I added an embossed sentiment from the set - how cute is that?!! and some coordinating NEW SEASHORE DOTS.
You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow! It's a beautiful warm brown named SANDY SHORES! As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills!

Hello! It's another sunny day here in Calgary, and I wanted to share two more summer layouts. I'm over on the Wild Whisper blog today using the new Road Trip Collection which is so awesome! I love creating pocket pages for events where I have quite a few pictures, like this camping trip we went on a few years ago. The Card Pack was perfect to add to my pages and I used the rest of the collection to kick it up a notch and embellish for fun finished layouts.
The Licence Plate Stamp Set is one of my favourites, and I have had so much fun creating neat titles!
