Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #570- Something Yummy!

This week, I'm your hostess and my challenge theme for you is: 

SOMETHING YUMMY!

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a very yummy project to inspire you in this week's challenge!! I'm using the New Lulu & Friends Stamp Set, along with lots of other 'sweet' supplies from the Shop! I coloured up Lulu with Copic Markers in some pretty colours to match the Simple Stories Sweet Talk collection. I just adore her little tutu and that determined look on her face! 

I decided to play off the waffle ephemera and create my own waffle by using the So Many Squares Stencil along with the New Smokin' Squares Stencil to create a mask for my waffle shape, which I inked with Totally Taupe and Sandy Shores Inks. I grabbed the Splish Splash Stencil to make a fun splat of red jelly, which I stencilled on with Berry Bold Ink and even added a layer of clear 3D Matt Gel to create a little dimension and shine. 

I used the fabulous February Add-On Bundle to add a chipboard rolling pin and the adorable cupcake washi tape to the card as well! I even used the wood stump stamp from Lumberjack & Jill to add a little woodgrain to the inked rolling pin!

I finished off the front of the card with Dazzling and Pastel Krafty Dots and stamped the inside of the card with a sentiment and image from Happiness Is Homemade!

Wild Whisper Explore Alberta Travelers Notebook!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps February New Release Hop and Shop!

 Woohoo!! Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our February Release that are NOW available in the  Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop! All four of our new stamp sets, plus two new stencils and a new hybrid ink colour AQUA ADVENTURE were released yesterday along with our February curated Add-On Kit, and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP! I'm sharing an encouragement card today using the super sweet AWESOME POSSUMS Stamp Set, along with the New SMOKIN' SQUARES Stencil and Krafty Kolours Inks! I stamped the Hang In There sentiment and added a little word sticker to lift a friend's spirits.

I started off by using one of the medium sized squares on the SMOKIN' SQUARES Stencil and overlapping the Inks, including the gorgeous New AQUA ADVENTURE. I splattered a bit of white ink spray overtop and also added one of the Leafy Branches chipboard embossed with charred gold embossing powder. 

I coloured this adorable cutie from the AWESOME POSSUMS set with Copics and used a scallop circle die to cut out the focal image. I love that she's holding a pretty flower and I added the cute ladybug sticker below, as if she's peeking down at it!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps February Krafty Peeks Day FOUR! Funny Fishes and a Challenge!

  Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the February Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are absolutely thrilled to be introducing

a hilariously cute set by Allison Cope...

FUNNY FISHES!!

These adorable fishies will have everyone smiling at their adventures! You'll also find lots of awesome accessories in this set!!

I decided to create an interactive card with a spot to hide a tag - right inside the awesome fishbowl that is included in this set!! I used the new AQUA ADVENTURE Ink and the Rocky Road Stencil that came out in January to create a watery effect inside the bowl. I used all kinds of fun accessory stamps in this set to add in the rocks, leaves and bubbles. The leaves in the ADD-ON BUNDLE Chipboard set were perfect to add to this, embossed with Ranger Verdigris embossing powder for a fun mottled effect. I coloured the fish in with Copics and added white dot highlights, and I even used one of the Chipboard cupcakes for even more birthday 'fishes' ;)!

Here's a look at that fun tag! I used a sentiment from the set as well as more Krafty Kolour Inks and the Pattern Parade Stencil to decorate it. I even customized my ribbon to match by using seam binding ribbon and rubbing the Krafty Kolour Ink Pads directly on the ribbon. I sprayed it with a little rubbing alcohol to blend the ink and crinkled it up to dry. In the background I used both the BAKING BONANZA and SMOKIN' SQUARES stencils to create a masked background design. I thought fun cupcakes would be perfect since this is a birthday card after all!! I clipped off the button shank from one of the fish buttons included in the ADD-ON BUNDLE and applied it directly to my tag. A few Krafty Dots and some faux stitching from the Pattern Parade Stencil again finish off the card!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Peeks Day THREE! Awesome Possums!

  Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the February Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen

 and it's called.....

AWESOME POSSUMS!!

How adorable are these guys?!! And they are hanging out ready to share sweet, inspirational messages! I created a slimline card with three windows for these cuties to peek out of! I absolutely love the SMOKIN' SQUARES Stencil for masking techniques, and I paired it with the Leaves and Vines Stencil and new AQUA ADVENTURE ink. I used some gold embossing powder for this awesome sentiment!

I coloured these guys in with Copics and added some pretty ephemera and diecuts around the card. I popped up this middle guy's body to give him a bit of dimension and added some white gel pen highlights.

I used the gold embossing powder again on the Add-on Chipboard leaves and added a few Krafty Dots to coordinate!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps February Krafty Peeks... Day TWO! Happiness Is Homemade!

  Welcome back to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Day TWO of our February Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from artist 

Neda Sadreddin and it's called.....

HAPPINESS IS HOMEMADE!!

This is an amazing set of delicious homemade goodness! Because who can resist a freshly baked cookie?!! 

I just had to use this set on a fun scrapbook layout documenting my two girls enjoying some Timmie's donuts for their special treat! Stamps are perfect to use on scrapbook pages - or anywhere you'd normally add stickers as embellishments!! I coloured up the sweet donut stamps and added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to them, popping some up with foam tape. You'll notice the awesome 'chocolate' donut I used from the exclusive Baking Bonanza Chipboard Set from this month's Add-On Bundle - I embossed it (and the red and white one below) to look just like the treats my girls chose!

I coloured the icing bag as well and added it to the layout along with yummy Simple Stories papers, ephemera and puffy stickers! 

I love how the Baking Bonanza stencil coordinates as well, and I created a mixed media tag with some Distress Oxide Sprays and Vicki Boutin Iridescent paste. I used a bit of red Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Kolours Ink to highlight the textured stencil images even more. On the bottom of the tag I stamped one of the fun sentiments from the HAPPINESS IS HOMEMADE set and added some white gel pen highlights.

The adorable little boy baker, oven and oven mitts were so perfect for this layout - and here you can see that yummy 'sprinkle' embellished chipboard donut! I added another stamped sentiment on an ephemera tag and added Krafty Dots around the page.
