International Scrapbook Day 2021!! What's Happening!

 Hello friends! I'm super excited it's International Scrapbook Day and I have been busy all week getting things together to share with you tomorrow! I really feel blessed there are so many events going on and thought I'd share a few!!

Scrap Shotz - Playing with Vicki Boutin Color Study Collection!

 Hello friends! I'm over on the Scrap Shotz Blog today sharing several projects using the amazing New Vicki Boutin Color Study collection! I decided to create a mixed media card with a fun motivational message first up. 

Using the same supplies I created a 12x12 layout and the Foundations Heavyweight Mixed Media Paper (seriously love this!)

And, I have a slimline Hugs card using Color Study and the Memory Box Twiggy Hugs Die!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #578 - Spring, Rain or Shine!

  Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

We've got some fabulous ideas for you 

and can't wait to see what you create!

This week, our challenge theme for you is: 

Spring, Rain or Shine!

I'm sharing a slimline card with a sunny, spring vibe! I decided to combine a few stamp sets and create a fun scene with fairies, plants and flowers. 

I used the tea pot fairy house from the sweet Fairy Village Stamp Set and the fairy and butterfly images from Fairy Folk. I coloured up my images with Copic Markers and added white gel pen and glitter pen highlights. I lightly stencilled in some clouds using the Krafty Scenery Stencil and Salty Sea Ink. It was hard to catch in the photo, but it gives it a great effect in the background!

You'll also notice images from the New Spring Scenery Stamp Set - I love how the fence can be extended to be as long as you wish! I added a cute little button from the April Add-On Bundle and stenciled a sunshine with the New Mellow Mustard Ink using the Krafty Scenery 3 Stencil. 

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Hop & Shop!

  Woohoo!!!

Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our April Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

All five of our new stamp sets, plus two new stencils and a new hybrid ink colour were released yesterday along with our exclusive ADD-ON BUNDLE, and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

I'm sharing a card using the beautiful wreath from our April ADD ON BUNDLE, layered over a background created with texture paste and the lovely DARING DIAMONDS Stencil. 

I covered the wreath in glue and added glitter from the ADD ON BUNDLE in sections, adding one colour at a time and using some colours from my stash as well. Glitter is definitely something there are so many uses for!! The pretty glitter from the bundle is soft and pastel and matches the other items in the kit perfectly! I added ribbon, again from the bundle, to the top of the wreath and tied a little bow. I stamped the sentiment from the SPRINGTIME SENTIMENTS Stamp Set with Purple Pansy Ink and used the New MELLOW MUSTARD and Fresh Fields inks to stamp the trees from the set.

I stamped the adorable Squirrel Friend Stamp Of The Month (see bottom of the post for details on how you can get him FREE!) with Totally Taupe Ink and coloured him in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers for a no-line effect. I added the diecut frame using one of the beautiful glitter papers from the ADD ON BUNDLE as well!! I am really loving the spring vibe from all the amazing new release products this month! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Krafty Peeks... Day FIVE! Lucky Ducks and a Challenge!

  Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the April Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a sweet set

LUCKY DUCKS!!

These adorable ducks will be sure to make anyone smile... 

and how about the great accessory stamps and fabulous sentiments?!! I created a slimline card with this sweet duck family and used the New DARING DIAMONDS Stencil with the New MELLOW MUSTARD Ink behind the cut out circles. 

I love finding different ways to colour images by doing a Google search! I loved the little duckies that came up that had brown on their wings, so I used my Copics and a dotting technique to make them look fluffy. I stamped one of the awesome sentiments from the LUCKY DUCKS Set in the New MELLOW MUSTARD Ink and added a fun accessory splash stamp.

I pulled the ribbon and glitter from the ADD-ON BUNDLE, as well as adding the glitter paper, diecut into little flowers, and glued all the fun little images onto my scene!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Krafty Peeks - Day FOUR! Spring Scenery!

  Today is our fourth day of Krafty Peeks for the April Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are sharing a fabulous set from

Allison Cope and it's called.....

SPRING SCENERY!!

Just imagine all the gorgeous ways you'll be using this beautiful stamp set! These accessory stamps will compliment so many other sets and create beautiful spring garden scenes. The fence stamp is drawn in a way that makes it easy to extend in either direction, you have a fabulous bird bath and there are even tiny blossom stamps that stamp over the tree branch creating instant spring blooms!

I coloured images from the SPRING SCENERY set with Copic Markers and added glitter from the ADD-ON BUNDLE using a Quickie Glue pen for a shimmery effect!

The awesome ORIGINAL OVALS Stencil was just perfect to add a focal point to the middle of the Memo card using the New MELLOW MUSTARD Ink. 

Inside, I added the tree branch & blossoms from the set (how amazing is that stamp with the blossoms that fits directly on the branch?!!) with Krafty Kolours Inks and a sentiment from the SPRINGTIME SENTIMENTS Stamp Set we previewed on Day TWO! I am really loving the new ink and it is going to be a go-to colour for sure!
