Two More Layouts using the Scrap Shotz May Kit Club!

 Hello! I'm over on the Scrap Shotz Blog today to share two more layouts using the awesome May Kit!! I decided to pull out the New Salvaged Patina Distress Ink and Oxide Pads to bring in the blue colour from the water, and I love how it turned out!

Wild Whisper Merry and Bright Christmas Morning Layout!

 Hello! I'm over on the Wild Whisper Blog today with a pretty Christmas layout using the Nicole Wright Baubles and Bows 12x12 Paper Pack  and Nicole Wright Designs Circlet Stencil! I love adding mixed media onto my layouts, and I really had fun with this one! 

Plus, I pulled out my DecoFoils and Mini Minc to add foiled details to the preprinted paper elements!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #582 - Plants & Trees!

 Good morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

We've got some fabulous ideas for you 

and can't wait to see what you create!

This week, I'm your hostess on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Blog, and my challenge theme for you is: 

PLANTS AND TREES

I created a no-line watercolour look by colouring the stamp lines in with markers using Tombows, Distress Markers and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, which are all waterbased, and stamping on watercolour paper. After I stamped the 'inked' images I used a paintbrush to pull the colour in from the edges to shade each element! 

I stamped the blossoms from the Spring Scenery set to add colour around the branch and then took a wet paintbrush to soften the flowers for a pretty effect. I added some fun stickers and ephemera from the Doodlebug Fairy Garden collection and used Tonic Crystal Glaze for a 3D look. 

I used the Krafty Scenery Stencil and Salty Sea Krafty Kolours Ink to add in some soft fluffy clouds and stamped the wonderful sun and sentiment using the New Hello Sunshine Stamp Set!

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Pop Up Barn Birthday Card with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Farm-tastic!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May New Release Hop & Shop!

  Woohoo!!! Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our May Release that are NOW available in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

All four of our new stamp sets, plus two new stencils and a new hybrid ink colour were released yesterday along with our exclusive ADD-ON BUNDLE, 

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

Today, I'm sharing the sweet underwater set LIFE IS THE BUBBLES along with the beautifully coordinating fish from DEEP SEA PALACE and some goodies from the awesome ADD ON BUNDLE.

I stencilled a fun under the sea background with the New KRAFTY KALEIDOSCOPE Stencil by first spraying with Dina Wakely Gloss Sprays, then adding colour with Vicki Boutin Gel Crayons and finally adding inky areas using Krafty Kolour Inks. I used this technique in the Krafty Friends FB Group in this video HERE if you want to check it out! 

I coloured all the images in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on Bristol Smooth Cardstock.  I used the New DESIGNER DENIM Ink to stamp this sweet sentiment from LIFE IS THE BUBBLES and added some white gel pen and stardust highlights to the images.

The New ADD ON BUNDLE has the perfect elements to complete my card, including pretty papers from the P13 Sunshine paper pad, Denim Rick Rack and the exclusive Hello Sunshine chipboard sun! I finished it off with some pretty Pastel Krafty Dots!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Krafty Peeks Day FOUR! Hello Sunshine! And a Challenge!

   Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the May Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a sweet set

HELLO SUNSHINE!

This fabulous set is full of awesome accessories for your scene cards and amazing sentiments for cards, planners, scrapbook pages and more! I decided to use it to make a 12x12" layout with photos of my daughter's weather science experiment! I love the clouds included in the set and of course the amazing sunshine, which I added one of the sweet faces to! I stamped the cloud with the New DESIGNER DENIM Ink and painted a bit of shiny paint inside. I added a chipboard cloud from the awesome coordinating Hello Sunshine Chipboard set included in the ADD-ON BUNDLE. A bit of Creative Expressions shiny polish gave it a sparkling effect. You can even spot that gorgeous DARLING DASHES stencil in the background!

I stamped the Forecast stamp along with all the fun accessory word stamps and stars using Krafty Kolours Inks and added the thermometer chipboard piece and some Krafty Dots. The back side of the P13 paper from the pad included in the ADD-ON BUNDLE matched this fun Vicki Boutin paper and stickers as well! 

I stamped the Hello Sunshine at the bottom of the layout - I seriously can't wait to use this sentiment on a card!! and used the thermometer stamp and *C & *F stamps to document the temperature! I'll definitely be using these fun stamps a lot!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Krafty Peeks Day THREE! Deep Sea Palace!

  Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the May Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' another fabulous set 

from artist Sabrina van Vloten

 and it's called.....

DEEP SEA PALACE!

This set features a fabulous palace focal image with an awesome friendship sentiment! It will also coordinate with those amazing ocean sea creatures we saw yesterday in LIFE IS THE BUBBLES! How fun!! 

I coloured up this beautiful DEEP SEA PALACE and the included fish with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and cut it out to use as embellishments for my scrapbook layout. I used the New Darling Dashes Stencil and New Designer Denim Ink to create some background interest on an 8 1/2 x 11 page. It's not a size I often do, but I'm really loving it!

I added in some of the sweet, coordinating sealife images and sentiments from yesterday's New Life Is The Bubbles Stamp Set.

The summery P13 paper from the Add-On Bundle was perfect to add to this page! I layered two 6x6 sheets vertically on the page and even fussy cut images and sentiments from the paper.  And seriously, how cute is this sweet turtle!!

I stamped the Deeply Grateful portion of the sentiment from DEEP SEA PALACE with the New Designer Denim Ink on this cut apart wood sign and added in some of the Lemon Sprinkles from the Add-On Bundle with some Underwater Krafty Dots!

Since we are doing school at home this year we've tried to do a field trip each month to make it fun! I'm creating a scrapbook full of our memories this year, and this visit to the pet store will now be even more special now that I've used pretty papers and stamps to decorate my layout!
