Scrapbooking with Simple Stories Trail Mix!

Hello friends! I'm over on the Scrap Shotz Blog today sharing four pages I created with the Simple Stories Trail Mix collection!

I used the July sketch from the Creative Scrapbooker Sketchy Challenge FB Group. Here's the Process Video on YouTube for the first one -

Next, I created a layout using the August sketch from the Creative Scrapbooker VIP Group. You can find all about the amazing Village Of Inspired People HERE!! 

Thirdly, I created this layout using strips of papers and documented our travels heading out to the mountains!

And lastly, this layout was inspired by the August sketch from the Creative Scrapbooker Sketchy Challenge FB Group!

Winter Woods Scrapbook Layouts!

Thanksgiving Layouts using 49 and Market Plum Grove!

 Hello friends! I'm over on the Scrap Shotz blog with two more layouts using the December Kit featuring the beautiful 49 & Market Plum Grove Collection! You can either grab the Kit in the shop or you can pick up the Plum Grove Collection piece by piece. The Kit includes the full collection paper pack, full ephemera pack, full chipboard word set, 1/3 of the tag package and 2 sheets of the rub on package, plus 6 matching cardstock!

This collection can be used for so many events, but does have a fall vibe so I thought that I’d play on it and use my Thanksgiving pics! I used the January Creative Scrapbooker Sketch for inspiration for both of these layouts!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps May Krafty Peeks… Day THREE! Farm Friends!

Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the May Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 

Today we are 'peeking' a super sweet set 

from artist Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

FARM FRIENDS!

These adorably cute barnyard friends coordinate with yesterday's awesome Our Farm set for a whole stable-full of cuteness!!

I had the perfect photos to go along with these adorable stamps, so I decided to create a scrapbook layout and use the images as embellishments!

I coloured up these cute farmyard buddies with Copics and added some white gel pen highlights before adding them to various areas of the page. 

The ephemera pack from the ADD-ON BUNDLE comes with so many awesome images! I used some paper I had in the 12x12 size from the Carta Bella Farmhouse Living Collection, as well as from the 6x6 paper pad, which you receive in your ADD-ON BUNDLE. It's such a fantastic line!

I love that I had a photo of my daughter and the goat- obviously perfect to add the sentiment stamped with the New BLUE BAY ink. If you look on the edge of the layout you'll see the New CRAZY COW stencil peeking out, again with, the new ink! I coloured the girl from yesterday's OUR FARM stamp set, which matches the scene perfectly and placed her on the page too! 

I added in a title card cut from the paper and popped up a banner again from the ephemera pack. I finished it off with some Nuvo Crystal Glaze for a glossy effect on the animals eyes!

Two More Layouts using the Scrap Shotz May Kit Club!

 Hello! I'm over on the Scrap Shotz Blog today to share two more layouts using the awesome May Kit!! I decided to pull out the New Salvaged Patina Distress Ink and Oxide Pads to bring in the blue colour from the water, and I love how it turned out!

Wild Whisper Merry and Bright Christmas Morning Layout!

 Hello! I'm over on the Wild Whisper Blog today with a pretty Christmas layout using the Nicole Wright Baubles and Bows 12x12 Paper Pack  and Nicole Wright Designs Circlet Stencil! I love adding mixed media onto my layouts, and I really had fun with this one! 

Plus, I pulled out my DecoFoils and Mini Minc to add foiled details to the preprinted paper elements!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Skrappy Challenge - Being 9 Hero Layout!

  Good morning krafty friends! It's April and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

I am sharing a layout that I made for our Mythical Mini Retreat in January using the amazing Dragon Flight and My Hero Stamp Sets that were then released last month! They are amazing!! I was really excited to use them on a layout of my daughter who loves dragons and superheroes!

I used the Dragon Dreams paper & stickers that was included with the Retreat Kit and stamped some of the amazing sentiments from the My Hero stamp set with Krafty Kolours Inks! 

These photos were from her 9th Birthday and she had been wearing a superhero cape and mask that her aunt made her all week! It was so much fun to scrap these photos with these stamps!!

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color in the adorable flying dragon image and I added long hair to the image to match my daughters long hair. If you look closely you'll get a sneak peek of a stencil that's going to be coming out very soon! 😉

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!

So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, May 3rd to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!
