KKS February Mid Inspiration Saturday Challenge #677 - Love/Hearts and/or Things That Hop!

Love/Hearts and/or Things That Hop!

I stamped the adorable little bunny painting an egg from the New Beginnings stamp set and coloured with Prism Studio coloured pencils. I created the background using the Layers Of Eggs layering stencil by colouring the eggs in and using a black marker to colour in all the negative space! 

I added some Touch Of Gloss and Stickles accents to create a fun effect on the egg! I stamped one of the pretty sentiments included and layered on some pretty patterned paper!

KKS February Skrappy Challenge!

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's February, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

I'm sharing a couple of Valentine tags I made for my two youngest girls! I usually give them a little candy and a book, and I thought it would be nice to include a handmade tag as well! 

I used stamps from both the Mini Mews and Together Is Better stamp sets.

I added some stenciled clouds in the background using the Chubby Clouds stencil and Blue Bay Ink (which is the ink of the month on sale!)

I paper pieced the cute balloon stamp and stamped sentiments on both the front and back of the tags! 

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!

KKS October Challenge - Mid Month Inspiration #673 Pumpkins & Stencils!

Pumpkins & Stencils!

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you!

I've created a card that does use both themes! I love Halloween and this was such a fun card to make! I started off by spraying Distress Mica Stains over the Ghoulish Ghosts Stencil  and then turned the stencil over to press against some watercolour paper to get the negative effect. After that dried I stamped the googly eyes from the Little Monsters stamp set! 

I used an orange Mica Stain background from my stash and stamped Boo from the Pumpkin Kisses set (a great fall stamp set!). I added some fun Halloween patterned paper - along with pumpkins of course!

KKS Saturday Challenge #671 - Tags and/or Fall!

TAGS and/or FALL!

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you!

I grabbed some fall goodies from my stash and coloured the addorable squirrels from the Squirrel Friends stamp set - a perfect Fall set - and on SALE this weekend! I watercoloured them with Zebra Clickart Markers, adding in some of the cute accessory leaf and mushroom stamps. 

I used the pretty Falling Leaves stencil, also on SALE this weekend, with Krafty Kolour Inks to create an Autumn background for my tag and then added some Dylusions Shimmer Paints for a shimmery effect overtop. 

I heat embossed one of the many amazing sentiments in this set and added some stickers and The Robin's Nest Dew Drops embellishments.

I pulled out the adorable Penguin Paradise stamp set, which just happens to be on sale this weekend!! The cute penguins in this set are doing so many cool activities - perfect for any of your summer cards or layouts! 

I coloured these guys up with Zebra Clickart Markers and created a little beach scene.

I stamped the sentiment with Aqua Adventure (our Ink Of The Month - also on sale!) and popped up the umbrella and a cute kite sticker, adding in some twine for the string! A few Robin's Nest Dew Drops finish off the card!

I'm using all 3 prompts for this months challenge! Well, this is as clean and simple as I get, lol. I'm sharing a Father's Day card for my husband and picked out the Namaste stamp set (on sale this weekend!), watercoloured with Zebra Pen Clickart Markers! 

I stenciled the cool Animal Adventure stencil (on sale this weekend!) using our ink of the month - Creamy Caramel, over a cream coloured paper.

I decided to write in a punny sentiment with a Zebra Sarasa black pen and added diecut letters to spell out DAD. I popped up the giraffe and finished off the card with some enamel dots!

KKS June Skrappy Challenge!

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's June, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!

So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

I am sharing two journal pages I created Live in the Krafty Friends Group on International Scrapbook Day. I used the cute images from Perfect Adventures, watercolouring with Zebra Clickart Markers. You can check out the video HERE or scroll down to watch!

I added in some stamps from the Picture Perfect stamp set and layered on some stickers and ephemera.

I cut out some fun papers with an Elizabeth Craft Designs planner die, which fits in my Sidekick Planner and added photos from our trip to Saskatchewan last summer.

I added in an interactive flap and tucked in a cute suitcase from the On The Go Stencil with some journaling about our trip!

My daughter, Erica, wanted to craft along so she found some photos she wanted to use and some coordinating stamps. These are her pages!

She used the taco and sentiment from So Punny to match her burrito costume she wore to school for the first page.

Then she chose the cute mouse and sentiment from Perfect Adventures along with a multicoloured taco with a hat... because you can do what you want when you're crafting!
