FCCB #313 - Make It Sparkle!

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #313-Make it Sparkle
Make it sparkle with glitter, gems, etc!

This Weeks Sponsor

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

For my protect today I’m using the adorable new Pumpkin Cutie Digital Stamp from Pretty Cute Stamps, our awesome sponsor, along with a tag frame cut with the George and Basic Shapes cartridge and a pumpkin cut from the Pumpkin Carvings cartridge to make a cute Halloween card! I pulled out an older Jillibean Soup paper pad from my stash to layer on some pretty Halloween colours.

I used some glittery Stickles and shiny SpiegelMom Scraps sequins for my sparkly bling!

I uploaded the digital sentiment from the PCS Pumpkin Cutie set into Design Space, changed it to the write feature and attached it to the Pumpkin cut so the pen would write directly on it. A sparkly purple gel pen filled in the the letters and added a little more sparkle!

Here’s a look at this cute digi stamp set-

Kitty Bee Designs #106 - Halloween!

Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! I've had lots of fun creating projects lately and here's one more for you!  It's time for the midweek inspiration for Challenge #106 over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!

Challenge #106
Halloween!

Super big thanks to our sponsor for this challenge  Star Stampz and The East Wind!!

and

The East Wind - http://etsy.com/shop/theeastwind

For this challenge I'm using an image from The East Wind - Lucy Loo Morning Coffee. Since I love coffee and Halloween, I figured this would be a fun card to make 😉

I coloured this sweet image in with Prismacolor and Hobby Colour markers - both alcohol based, and used a Spellbinders Nestabilities die to cut her out. To get the matted frame I used the same die, but traced a pencil line around it and cut that out by hand.  I printed out the sentiment from the Craftin' Desert Divas Be Scary digi stamp set and hand cut it into a banner shape.

I had a lot of fun using the Fractured Ice embossing powder! It melts clear with speckles in it and looks so cool on this black raven from the Cricut Creative Bug cartridge!

Inside, I used some sentiments from the Pretty Cute Stamps Bewitched stamp set and added a coffee cup diecut from the Cricut cartridge Designer's Calender. A little skull sequin adds some fun spookiness! I love how the 'Brew' sentiment coordinates with the coffee theme!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenge to see all the inspiration from the other awesome Design Team members - and enter your own project HERE for a chance to win!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Kitty Bee Designs - Puppy Love Birthday Card!

Hello! I hope you have all been having a wonderful week! It seems the time flies, and my girls have been busy getting ready for Halloween and enjoying the lovely fall weather we've had lately. Today, I'm sharing an adorable puppy birthday card over at the Kitty Bee Designs blog - perfect for a little boy birthday! I'm using the super sweet Puppy Love digital stamp by Kitty Bee Designs.  I just love printing my images on kraft cardstock and then colouring them in with my Jane Davenport Magic Wand colouring pencils! The grey and white plaid paper from a Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad coordinated nicely with the grey paper and green ribbon from a BoBunny Ephemera Pack. I've been enjoying using these lately with such a great selection of embellishments and papers all in one pack. The sweet sentiment from the Fur Baby stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps worked perfectly for this card!

I used a Kaisercraft stitched square die to cut out the puppy and added some Glossy Accents to the hearts and nose for a bit of dimension. Some sparkly sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps add some coordinating colour and interest.

Inside, I used a few more stamps from the Pretty Cute Stamps set and added some more shiny sequins! How cute is the 'party' sentiment?!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic week ahead!

Raccoon Tea Bag Holder!

Hi! I'm popping in with a cute and quick tag and tea bag holder using the sweet raccoon from this month's challenge over at the Gerda Steiner Designs October Challenge! If you played along last month you would have received this guy free!! If you want to purchase this adorable digital image and play along in October by linking your project using him, then you'll get November's image free. I just love this idea, and I was really excited to create a cute tag with this little cutie!

I used a very easy tea bag folding tutorial on YouTube and a piece of 6x6 patterned Lawn Fawn Knit Picky paper to create this cute holder. I'm thinking this will be a perfect stocking stuffer or teacher gift!

I used a tag die from Your Next Stamp to diecut around the racoon image and coloured him in with Prismacolor and Hobby Colour markers. A little stamp from a Lawn Fawn tag set was just perfect to decorate his little wooden sign!

I added a little black bow and some pretty SpiegelMom Scraps sequins!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the challenge and all the fun projects for this month!

I love all the inky details 🖤🕷🕸🖤

Inside, we've got several layers of these little guys - I love the way some of the figures in the pack are sitting so I could perch the boy on top of the calendar! One of the great things is you get so many pieces in the Ancestor pack, in so many different sizes - so don't be scared to use them!

I've got a quick little tutorial on the steps I used to create this project:
