Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps November Skrappy Challenge

 Good morning krafty friends!

It's November, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

We recently celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving, and I love to have a little table gift for each person who comes! Of course with all the turkey prep, it has to be something quick as well ;) I pulled out some cute little white paper bags and the Pumpkin Wishes Stamp Set! I added a layer of dots using the Pattern Parade Stencil and some Cool Canteloupe Ink, and then added the thanks sentiment stamped with Rich Rust Ink. The girls stuffed the bags with a sweet treat, and a small wooden leaf embellishment finished off the top!

It was nice to have a full house and full plates! We were very blessed to have family and friends who were able to come over and share this special meal.

Some of our friends were visiting from other countries and had never had Thanksgiving Dinner before! We had a traditional meal of turkey, cranberries, stuffing, gravy and all kinds of veggies.

And, of course, pie - Apple and Pumpkin!

I'm definitely very thankful for so many things!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps New Release Hop & Shop!

 Woot!  Woot! Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new magical things in our AUGUST Release that are NOW AVAILABLE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop! All THREE of our new stamp sets along with two new stencils, our stunning new hybrid ink colour, Tempting Tangerine and sweet new Halloween krafty dots were released yesterday and we're excited to share everything with you in a fabulous blog hop!

So let's check everything out in action as we hop around the Krafty Design Team's blogs today!  Grab a nice hot (or cold) beverage, sit back and relax while we take you on this krafty tour! For today's hop I'm sharing the awesome little turkey from IT'S TURKEY DAY, along with the fall leaves included in the stamp set!

I coloured up this cutie with Prima Watercolor Pencils and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers around the edges. I used the Krafty Kolours Inks in various fall colours, along with the NEW TEMPTING TANGERINE to ink some white cardstock and then stamped the leaves directly on top. I tucked them into this pretty diecut wreath and added some of the NEW HALLOWEEN DOTS for little pops of colour.

Of course, I had to use one of those fun wobblers to create a funny wobbling effect for this guy!!

I stamped two of the sentiments on a scalloped banner, embossing with white embossing powder, and I added a couple more leaves. Now my card is ready to send to a friend for fun Thanksgiving wishes with a little surprise when they open the envelope!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August New Release Sneak Peeks - Day 1 It's Turkey Day!

Woohoo! Get ready! It is time for Krafty Peeks again at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! The August Sneak Peeks begin today and you're not going to believe the fabulous goodies we have in store for you this month! As you may know our August release is always focused on fall and Halloween!! 🍂

Today is Day One of our August Krafty Peeks and we are kicking things off with the perfect FALL stamp set! This set is from artist Neda Sadreddin and it's called...IT'S TURKEY DAY!! Check out these adorable pilgrims and the super fun turkey!! Won't these just make the cutest Thanksgiving cards! This set also includes 5 awesome sentiments and 2 accessory stamps!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the IT'S TURKEY DAY! stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new AUGUST Kraftin' Kimmie products! For my project today I decided to make a slimline card using the two adorable pilgrim kids! 

I coloured them up with Prima Watercolor Pencils and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to outline them after stamping with Totally Taupe Ink for a no-line effect. I had some fun fall paper in my stash and thought it went beautifully with the Thanksgiving theme. 

 

I stamped several leaves, colouring them in fall colours and even a few extra pumpkins, masking the little boy's hand. The awesome NEW HALLOWEEN DOTS give a few more pops of colour to this special card

Inside, I stamped the sentiment using the NEW TEMPTING TANGERINE Ink and added a few colourful leaves.

Project Life Thanksgiving Layout & Winner!

Hello friends! It's been a busy, but awesome weekend, so I thought I'd share a couple pics of our Thanksgiving dinner here in Canada using the Project Life App on my phone. The app is actually free now, which is amazing! I love using it for a photo collage and to get a quick digital layout done that I may want to share online. I think putting these into a printable photo book would be a great idea too!

We had an awesome turkey dinner and even tried a couple new sides, which turned out great! And, of course, the best part was being with family and friends!

Hi friends! Karla here today with some cute treat boxes I made for all my Thanksgiving guests this past weekend! I love that Thanksgiving is early here in Canada.... Honestly, I wouldn't be able to wait till November 😉We served turkey dinner for 9 people - it was a full table and a very happy Thanksgiving - with so much to be thankful for!

Say Cheese Lawn Fawn Mice!

Howdy, and happy Tuesday! Hope your week is going great so far. I've had a lot of crafty stuff going on lately, and I just had to come back again today to share these sweet Lawn Fawn Thankful Mice! They are so cute, and perfect for this Thanksgiving card.

I had a piece of background paper in a Smash book that had the Say Cheese sentiment on it, so I cut it into a banner shape and added it to my card, layering the swiss cheese image from the same paper behind my Simple Stories Polaroid cut out. I layered the mason jar and adorable mice onto the photo, using some popdots for dimension. A pretty piece of striped Simple Stories paper was just right for the base of my card.

I cut the mason jar from velum using a metal die and my Cuttlebug and added some of the yummy cheese inside. I used a little tea bag tag from the Love You A Latte set and a tiny heart to the top of my jar.

Inside, I used the sentiment included with the set and another piece of cheese along with that cute heart stamp again.

A few sequins and buttons from the 28 Lilac Lane collection finish off my card!
