Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps April New Release Hop & Shop!

Woot!  Woot! Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new things in our springtime April Release that are NOW AVAILABLE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

All three new stamp sets along with two new stencils, our stunning new hybrid ink colour, Gorgeous Grape and sweet new krafty dots were released yesterday, and we're excited to share everything with you in a fabulous blog hop! Today, I'm sharing a sweet shaker sloth card using our NEW Rainy Day Stencil & A Slothsome Day and Here Comes The Sun (🠜sold out!! but more on the way!) Stamp Sets! If you missed the Live Shaker Card Class I did in the Krafty Friends FB Group yesterday, be sure to check it out and you'll see how I created a similar card for a challenge for this weekend's Spring Krafty Krop. There are lots of challenges going on from yesterday and again today - and you'll have all week to play along!

Here, I created a stencilled background that almost looks like patterned paper by individually brushing on Krafty Kolours Inks in Lovely Lagoon, Pretty In Pink, Purple Pansy & our NEW Gorgeous Grape using the NEW Rainy Day Stencil. I added in white gel pen lines and dots to give dimension to the drops and even brushed on some sparkly mist that I put into a water brush! After I coloured this cutie in I added a layer of Gina K Iridescent Glitter Glitz Gel over the top to give a frosted, glittery effect.

Inside, I stamped the Thanks A Sloth sentiment from the A Slothsome Day using the NEW Gorgeous Grape Ink and flowers from Here Comes The Sun, which will be back in stock soon. I finished off the flower centers with some pretty NEW Rainy Day Dots!

So let's check everything out in action as we hop around the Krafty Design Team's blogs today! First up is a sweet springtime set by artist Neda Sadreddin called HERE COMES THE SUN! (sold out, but more on the way!)

Next is a set of adorable little pixies from artist Sabrina van Vloten called FAIRY FOLK! (currently sold out, but more on the way!!)

And our third set is a set of slow moving friends from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen and it's called A SLOTHSOME DAY!

Available now is our stunning new Krafty Kolours hybrid ink colour in the large ink pad, the mini cube and ink refill called ....GORGEOUS GRAPE!

We have two new stencils that coordinate perfectly with our lovely new stamp sets and they are.... RAINY DAY STENCIL and BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES!

And lastly we have the perfect set of new Krafty Dots and they include some glitter!!! They are....RAINY DAY dots!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps April New Release Sneak Peeks- Day 1 - Here Comes The Sun!

Sunny days are on the way!! The April Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps begins NOW! Welcome to Day ONE of our April Krafty Peeks! We are ready to celebrate and inspire you with THREE new stamp sets, TWO new stencils, a brand new INK colour and some new Krafty DOTS! Who's ready to celebrate SPRING?

We're kicking off the fun with a sweet new SPRING set from artist Neda Sadreddin and it's called..... HERE COMES THE SUN! What a fabulous and uplifting set of sweet images and sentiments to send to special people to let them know you're thinking of them, especially right now! It's a 4x6 stamp set featuring several main images, some accessory stamps and some awesome sunshiney sentiments!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the HERE COMES THE SUN stamp set in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new APRIL Kraftin' Kimmie products! I decided to make an adorable Spring card with this sweet girl!! I coloured her up with Copic Markers and layered the diecut ovals on a bright yellow background.

The NEW Gorgeous Grape Ink added a fun colour to my stamped sentiment and coordinated with the purple paper and NEW Rainy Day Krafty Dots.

I added the sweet little sunshine and clouds using some foam tape for dimension and used a bit of embroidery floss for some texture to the sentiment rectangle. I love the flowers included with this set - perfect for tiny embellishments!

Our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow is an amazing dark royal purple named GORGEOUS GRAPE! As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills!

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations! They are called RAINY DAY STENCIL and BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES!!

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordinating Krafty Dots for this release! The package includes 66 enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours! These ones are called RAINY DAY DOTS!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps New Release - Day 1 Love Bugs!

Hello and welcome Krafty Friends! I am so excited to be Guest Designing this month with the Kraftin' Kimmie team - and sharing the fabulous new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps January Release to kick off the year! The brand new products for January are all about LOVE! So let's get started because I'm so excited to share the Day 1 reveal with you featuring the super sweet new stamp set from artist, SABRINA VAN VLOTEN!! It's called....LOVE BUGS!

Check out this sweet set of little bugs and friends! It's a 4x6 stamp set with lots of little characters, flowers in several sizes for creating scenes and of course, some perfect sentiments! This set is perfect for Valentines, friendship, happy mail and Spring!!

I couldn't resist colouring this adorable ladybug and beautiful flower with Copics to create a scene card to send some special Sunny Wishes to a friend! I used the new Petite Posies Stencil (shown below) along with some Yummy Yellow Krafty Kolours Ink to create a sunshine and stamped the sentiment with Wicked Black.

I tucked one of the small flowers into the ladybug's hand by cutting a small slice for it to fit into. A little Heart Dot - another new fabulous release (shown below) embellishes the sunshine along with some yellow dots from the Krafty Basics pack.

Spring Layout Using Alcohol Pearl Inks and Chipboard!

Hello! I sure hope all my Canadian friends have enjoyed a lovely long Victoria Day Weekend, and that all my other crafty friends had lots of fun this weekend too! The weather hasn't been fantastic here in Calgary, Alberta, but we definitely still enjoyed the long weekend. Today, I'm over at the Southern Ridge Trading Company Blog with a pretty spring layout using some lovely chipboard pieces from the SRTC Shop and customizing them with Alcohol Pearl Inks. I'm telling you, the more I use these inks the more I love them! I'm also using a pretty stencil from the shop to add some soft detail with Distress Oxide Inks.

Happy Spring Bunny Card!

Hello! I honestly cannot believe it's April and Easter is so close... Today I'm sharing a sweet spring card using the Easter Bunnies Digital Stamp Bundle set from Gerda Steiner Designs. It's a really cute bundle that includes lots of images perfect for Spring, Easter and more, because I think bunnies work for any occasion 😉 The image I chose to work with today is a cute bunny painting on an easel. I coloured everything in with Prismacolor, Hobby Colour and Copic Markers, all alcohol based. The Happy Spring is from a Pretty Cute Stamps set in my stash and I'm using some Lawn Fawn spring paper and a Pretty Pink Posh die. The sweet little flower brad is from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies.

I just couldn't resist creating one more project with our sponsors' adorable images for this challenge, and this week I'm using the sweet Pup In Boots digital stamp from Wink Wink Ink. I grabbed some pretty spring papers from the SCT Sampler Pack and layered them on a kraft cardstock base.

After colouring this cutie with Copics and Prismacolor Markers I fussy cut him out to give the look of a stamped and diecut image. I added some pretty Close To My Heart and Buttons Galore and More embellishments and a diecut flower to finish it off.

I'm sharing a sweet little rainy day digital image - April Showers from Sparkle N Sprinkle on this lovely spring card today! I used my Jane Davenport Magic Wand colouring pencils to colour the image and then cut it out with a Spellbinders Nestabilities die. A little foam tape gives the focal image some dimension after layering it on pretty My Mind's Eye, BoBunny and Your Next Stamp papers - all edged with Distress Inks. The pretty MME flower brad and a couple butterfly confetti's with gems add to the spring feel. I found the perfect rainy day sentiment to add from a Pretty Cute Stamp set!

I added details to the boots and umbrellas with gel pens and used blue Stickles to add glittery highlights to the raindrops.

Inside, I used another sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps and a third butterfly confetti embellishment.
