Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps August New Release Sneak Peeks - Day 2 Too Cute To Spook!

Welcome back! Did you SEE all the AMAZING new goodies we previewed yesterday? Are you ready to add some magic to our fantastic fall release? That's good because we are BACK with Day TWO of our August Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we're sharing a sweet new stamp set by artist Sabrina van Vloten! It's called....TOO CUTE TO SPOOK!

This adorable new set features our cute little mice Trick or Treating!! We've got a vampire, pirate, witch, fairy and of course a little ghost mouse! SQUEEEEK! And just look at the sentiments AND accessories!! This set is so packed full of images!

Check out TOO CUTE TO SPOOK! in action as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today!  You'll also see the new stencils, new ink and new dots along the way!!  I decided to make a shaker card featuring these fun little guys along with the NEW Stencils GHOULISH GHOSTS & GORGEOUS GAUZE.

I watercoloured them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on Bristol Smooth Cardstock. There are so many adorable accessories in this set!! 

I used the GORGEOUS GAUZE Stencil for the top layer of the shaker card, coloured with various purple Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Kolour Inks. After diecutting I layered it on top of a background stencilled with the beautiful NEW TEMPTING TANGERINE and Party Peach Inks using the NEW GHOULISH GHOSTS. I love the negative effect this stencil creates! 

I added some fun sequins from my stash and used Glossy Accents and Nuvo Crystal Drops on the candies for glimmer and shine! The fun sentiments were perfect to stamp directly on the acetate with Stazon Ink, and I popped on some of those awesome little HALLOWEEN DOTS! I love the colours in this pack!!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps April New Release Hop & Shop!

Woot!  Woot! Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new things in our springtime April Release that are NOW AVAILABLE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

All three new stamp sets along with two new stencils, our stunning new hybrid ink colour, Gorgeous Grape and sweet new krafty dots were released yesterday, and we're excited to share everything with you in a fabulous blog hop! Today, I'm sharing a sweet shaker sloth card using our NEW Rainy Day Stencil & A Slothsome Day and Here Comes The Sun (🠜sold out!! but more on the way!) Stamp Sets! If you missed the Live Shaker Card Class I did in the Krafty Friends FB Group yesterday, be sure to check it out and you'll see how I created a similar card for a challenge for this weekend's Spring Krafty Krop. There are lots of challenges going on from yesterday and again today - and you'll have all week to play along!

Here, I created a stencilled background that almost looks like patterned paper by individually brushing on Krafty Kolours Inks in Lovely Lagoon, Pretty In Pink, Purple Pansy & our NEW Gorgeous Grape using the NEW Rainy Day Stencil. I added in white gel pen lines and dots to give dimension to the drops and even brushed on some sparkly mist that I put into a water brush! After I coloured this cutie in I added a layer of Gina K Iridescent Glitter Glitz Gel over the top to give a frosted, glittery effect.

Inside, I stamped the Thanks A Sloth sentiment from the A Slothsome Day using the NEW Gorgeous Grape Ink and flowers from Here Comes The Sun, which will be back in stock soon. I finished off the flower centers with some pretty NEW Rainy Day Dots!

So let's check everything out in action as we hop around the Krafty Design Team's blogs today! First up is a sweet springtime set by artist Neda Sadreddin called HERE COMES THE SUN! (sold out, but more on the way!)

Next is a set of adorable little pixies from artist Sabrina van Vloten called FAIRY FOLK! (currently sold out, but more on the way!!)

And our third set is a set of slow moving friends from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen and it's called A SLOTHSOME DAY!

Available now is our stunning new Krafty Kolours hybrid ink colour in the large ink pad, the mini cube and ink refill called ....GORGEOUS GRAPE!

SpiegelMom Scraps - What's Happening on Instagram!

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing a couple projects that I've featured over on the SpiegelMom Scraps Instagram feed. First up is a pretty layout 'In The Spirit' using lots of lovely papers and ephemera from the Paige Evans Pick Me Up collection. Our team was scraplifting this week and I used our fabulous Guest Designer Lina Monaco as my inspiration.

SpiegelMom Scraps - Fox Birthday Wishes!

Hello! I hope you're having a great weekend so far friends! We pulled out some old videos this morning from when my 11 year old was a baby and have been reminiscing this morning! It's amazing how quickly time flies!! Today, I'm sharing a cute birthday card Erica (my 6 year old) gave to her friend for her birthday. I shared it over on the SpiegelMom Scraps Instagram feed last week HERE.

I created a fun shaker using some stitched circle dies and some foam tape along with the Authentic You sequin mix from SpiegelMom Scraps and used the Echo Park paper A Perfect Autumn paper pack.

Inside, I added some watercolour Distress Oxide Inks smooshed to create a background and stamped Celebrate from Your Next Stamp.

I used some Prima and Fabercastel watercolour pencils along with this cute CTMH stamp set.

Your Next Stamp - Challenge #66 - Shaker Aquarium Card!

Hello friends! I'm back today with a new Challenge from the Your Next Stamp blog!! There is a new challenge every two weeks based on a colour scheme or a sketch - or both if you're up to it!! Here's a look at both challenges this week.

I decided to use both challenges as inspiration for my aquarium shaker card using the Aquarium Antics stamp set by Your Next Stamp. This is such a sweet set, with lots of cute images and great sentiments!! I bought some Echo Park Summer Fun digital papers from Snap Click Supply, and I was able to create the background panel in Pic Monkey to follow the sketch. I just printed it off on some white cardstock and added it to my card base. I love the clear sparkly Gumdrop enamel dots from the New Release Firecracker Sparkly Gumdrops, and I added three to the top right of my card. I also sponged on a little Distress Oxide Ink around the edges before gluing it all together.

I used my new Project Life Fuse Tool to create a pocket around the aquarium and then added SpiegelMom Scraps sequins and some Ranger Distress Glitter before sealing the top edge. I am absolutely loving this Fuse Tool!! I used some Scor tape and a bit of Glossy Accents to adhere the shaker pocket to my background paper.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from the set with Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink and coloured two more of the cute fishies!! This will be perfect for a birthday or any well wishing card!
