Post It Notes Panda Card!

Hello friends! Sometimes I sure feel like I need to cover myself in sticky notes to remember everything I need to do, lol! This cute Post It Notes Panda Clear Stamp from Kitty Bee Designs is sure to do just that 😉 I'm sharing him over on the Kitty Bee Designs blog today, so I thought I'd share him with you here and give you all the details.

I used some pretty papers from the Whimsical collection by Paige Evans for Pink Paislee. I love that she has coordinating stickers! I stamped this cutie onto a background cut with a Sizzix die and coloured him in with Prismacolor and Copic Markers. A bit of Glossy Accents over the sticky notes adds such a neat effect.

Inside, I added a thank you sentiment using an Altenew stamp set and coordinating die. I used some of the new Tim Holtz Metallic cardstock to diecut the word and I loved how it turned out!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a fantastic week friends!!

Lawn Fawn Let's Toast Pop Up Valentine Card!

Well, I certainly hope you all had a great New Years! I feel like it's been ages since I posted, but I have been working on lots of fun things!! The girls went back to school today, and we were busy, but not crazy, over our holidays. I think we were all pretty much ready to get back to routine today, though I could definitely have slept an extra hour or two ;) Last month I was lucky enough to win the Let's Toast Lawn Fawn stamp from the LF Blog when they posted their new releases! They mailed it right out to me and I picked up the coordinating dies and Pull Tab add-on dies so I could get a head start on my Valentine Cards. Let me tell you, these are so cute! The pull tab is quick and easy to figure out and I had fun putting it together. I definitely wanted to share these two cute cards with you along with a video so you can see how they came together.

I just love how this little poptart peeks out of the toaster! I coloured the images with Copics and Prismacolor Markers and layered them on patterned paper by Pink Paislee/Paige Evans and Pink Fresh Studio for nontraditional Valentine colours.

The little faces that come in the set are adorable, and the sentiments are so punny!

Here's a look at the video where you can see it in motion!

And here's a bonus second card I created with this set, turning it into a Thank You card!

I love that the pop up mechanism works with both the poptarts and the toast! Here I used some pretty heart paper from Paige Evans' newest Whimsical collection.

You could turn this into a Hello card, Happy Birthday or Valentine!

The cute cheeks come as a stamp that fits perfectly - I always have to add rosy cheeks, so I definitely love these!

Inside, I added a gift card holder cut with a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die and a Thanks sentiment cut from a Sizzix die.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic week, and would love to know if you're thinking about creating Valentine Cards yet. 💗

Scrap Shotz - Baby In The House Layout!

Hello! I'm sharing a cute layout and pocket page over on the Scrap Shotz blog today that I wanted to give you a peek at. Last summer my youngest sister and her family came to visit us, and it was our first time meeting my adorable little niece, Emily! I'm so happy I finally got to make these layouts and get these wonderful photos into my album 💗 I'm using the amazing Paige Evans Pick Me Up collection by Pink Paislee that you can find in the Scrap Shotz store!! Scrap Shotz is a Canadian Retailer, who ships internationally, so be sure to check out the shop.

Here's a look at the first page, which is a traditional 12x12 layout. I'm using a sketch from the Stuck?! Sketches blog, which I turned on it's side.

And here's a look at the pocket page where I used more of the delicious Pick Me Up collection! Just love those sweet baby cheeks!

I'm sharing my process to create the layout in this video!

And be sure to have a look at the pieces of this collection that  I'm using today here in this video!

FCCB #299 - Spring!

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #299-Spring
Make a project about Spring.

The FCCB Design Team is sponsoring a $25 gift card at

Amazon!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

For my project I've created a scrapbook layout using a heart background cutout from the Close To My Heart Artistry Cricut cartridge. There are so many wonderful backgrounds on this cartridge, and you could size them to create cards or layouts! I've had these wonderful photos of my daughter, Amie, for a few years and I figured this was the perfect time to scrapbook them! After all, what says spring more than butterflies and fairies! I based my layout on the February 2016 Sketchy challenge at the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. If you're ever looking for a starting point there are lots of great sketches and inspiration here!

I used my Distress Oxide Inks to sponge over my heart diecut in colours that matched the pretty BoBunny Butterfly Kisses paper. The cutouts in the diecut were lovely with images from the paper showing through. I added some CTMH stamps in different places and layered on some Tim Holtz chit chat stickers.

I love this gorgeous title from a Pink Paislee Take Me Away phrases foam sticker pack. I layered it over a Pink Paislee journaling card and added some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins and some CTMH bling.

I made a second page with the adorable photos I had from this photo shoot, so I thought I'd share this with you as well! I used a background page from the BoBunny Butterfly Kisses again and layered on lots of fun elements.

I love fussy cutting out images that are on papers and adding them to my layouts. These pretty Pink Paislee branch stickers looked awesome sticking out of the pretty mason jar. And, of course, I love adding SpiegelMom Scraps sequins! How sweet are these yellow flower sequins?!!

This lovely chipboard sticker is from the BoBunny Believe collection - I love the way it coordinates!

I added a Pink Paislee Take Me Away foam sticker title 'Lovely' and used some Stickles to add a bit of bling. Some Distress Oxide Inks add colour to a chipboard tag and a pretty purple ribbon coordinates with the inks and sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful week!! Don't forget to stop by the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see what all the other Design Team members have come up with - and enter your own Spring project using a Cricut cut for a chance to win!

Kitty Bee Designs Challenge #92 - Easter

Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! I've had lots of fun creating projects lately and here's one more for you!  It's time for the midweek inspiration for Challenge #92 over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!

Challenge #92

Super big thanks to our sponsor for this challenge:

The Paper Nest Dolls - http://paper-nest-dolls.myshopify.com/

For my project I'm using the adorable Singing In The Rain Ducky digital stamp from Drawn With Character.  This little duck reminds me that even on rainy days we should appreciate the happiness! I coloured him in with Prismacolor and Hobby Colour Markers, which are alcohol based, and added some shading and a bit of colour to the raindrops. The bright rainbow colours in the Pink Paislee Take Me Away papers added the perfect Easter feel to my card. I even found a coordinating journaling card in the collection to add to the front.

I used my colorless blender pen to add a few polka dots to the little umbrella and boots and added Glossy Accents to the puddle. I layered a crocheted and paper flower and added it, along with a lovely green bow, to the card.

Inside, I used a sentiment from the Easter Cuties stamp set by Pretty Cute Stamps.

Some pretty sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps  finish off my card and add some pretty Easter bling!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenge to see all the inspiration from the other awesome Design Team members - and enter your own project HERE for a chance to win!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Amie's Page!

Hi crafters!! Hope your week is going well - I don't know how it goes so quickly sometimes.... My daughter Amie, who is 10, made a scrapbook page last week and asked me to share it on my blog. I just love it when my girls take an interest in scrapbooking <3 She has a little album that she's made pages here and there since she was about 5. I've always let the girls use whatever supplies they want, even if they are my 'good' ones. They are always careful with inks and tools and I love seeing what they come up with!

She asked me to write the journaling down for her, and otherwise she chose all the papers and cut everything out and layered it the way she wanted!

I usually have a bunch of extra photos that I don't use so the girls are always welcome to use them. These ones were from last Fall of Amie and her sister Erica.

I love that she chose the Crazy Kids circle ;)

And here's Amie proudly showing off her page!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I thought I'd link her page up and show off her beautiful work!

Ori Kami Greeting Card Gift Set!

Wow! Can I tell you how cold it has been lately?!! It felt like -20* C with the wind chill today! At least I don't feel guilty about staying in and crafting ;) I did actually take my girls skating today, inside at an arena - and it was a lot warmer in there than outside.

I thought I'd share a new stamp set I got over the holidays - just in time to make a couple last minute gift sets! I thought these origami stamped images from the Altenew Ori Kami set were so awesome - I love finding things that are a little bit different! I paper pieced the stamps and layered them on some card bases covered with patterned papers and 3x4 journaling cards from a cut apart sheet in the Pink Paislee Take Me Away 12x12 paper pad by Paige Evans. The paper is so pretty - I could seriously frame it - and might!

I added sequins from the SpiegelMom Scraps Store and chose one of the pretty sentiments from the Ori Kami stamp set for the inside (shown in the middle photo below). For each envelope I added a coordinating stamped iamge and coloured it in with coloured pencils. I love how that looks on kraft paper!

I made two sets of 4 cards with matching envelopes each and tied them with a pretty ribbon before putting them into a gift bag with some yummy treats!

And here's a photo of my two littles having fun skating this morning!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you're staying warm and cozy this weekend!
