Wow! It's Day THREE day of the February Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! If you missed Day 1 or Day 2 be sure to check them out! It's our FINAL day of peeks and everything you've seen us share this week will be in the online shop on Sunday afternoon! We are closing things out with a brand new adorable stamp set from artist Neda Sadreddin called.... THAT'S A WRAP!
Check out this calm and relaxed lady!  How wonderful to make a peaceful creation for someone who deserves a break! There are some main images, a lot of extra accessory stamps plus some fabulous sentiment stamps!
I decided to make a Spa-cial 😉 relaxing card using this amazing set! Wouldn’t this be perfect to give to a friend for their birthday - or to a teacher with a little gift card tucked in?!! I glammed up this cute card with Stardust glitter gel pen and used white gel pen for highlights. I love the Gellyroll #10 pen! I added some of the NEW exclusive Heavenly Dots, which ended up matching my colours perfectly!
Inside, I stacked the various images in the Center Picture Window Card opening. I love all the accessory stamps that come with this! I used Zig Real Brush Clean Colour Markers on Bristol Cardstock to colour in the images, stamped with Kraftin' Kimmie Wicked Black Ink, which is Copic and watercolour friendly. You can see the NEW Chubby Clouds Stencil inside that picture window, sponged with Bubbly Blue (on sale!!) and the NEW Magical Midnight Krafty Kolour Inks.
On the very back I added one more sweet and serene image and left a spot to write a heartfelt note! I think someone will feel very relaxed and pampered after receiving it... Hmmm, I may just need to give it to myself 🤭
You can see the video HERE with closeups of the new goodies and That's A Wrap Stamp Set! Don't forget to like, subscribe and hit that notification bell if you want to see more!! Let me know if you liked seeing the images stamped out each day.
Of course, today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes!  So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item, etc.....with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp!  Use any sketch, design, colour scheme you want!

Post It Notes Panda Card!

Hello friends! Sometimes I sure feel like I need to cover myself in sticky notes to remember everything I need to do, lol! This cute Post It Notes Panda Clear Stamp from Kitty Bee Designs is sure to do just that 😉 I'm sharing him over on the Kitty Bee Designs blog today, so I thought I'd share him with you here and give you all the details.

I used some pretty papers from the Whimsical collection by Paige Evans for Pink Paislee. I love that she has coordinating stickers! I stamped this cutie onto a background cut with a Sizzix die and coloured him in with Prismacolor and Copic Markers. A bit of Glossy Accents over the sticky notes adds such a neat effect.

Inside, I added a thank you sentiment using an Altenew stamp set and coordinating die. I used some of the new Tim Holtz Metallic cardstock to diecut the word and I loved how it turned out!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a fantastic week friends!!

Gerda Steiner Designs - Umbrella Mouse Card!

Hello sweet friends! I just love seeing all the lovely new images available in the Gerda Steiner Designs shop, and today I'm sharing this super cute Umbrella Mouse digi with you. This cutie could be used for many different occasions, but I chose a get well sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps to coordinate with it. I decided to do some paper piecing to give her a trendy umbrella, scarf and jacket - and I'm sharing just how to do that in a little tutorial on the GSD Blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs blog to see closeups and details on this pretty card, and have a lovely weekend!

Lawn Fawn Let's Toast Pop Up Valentine Card!

Well, I certainly hope you all had a great New Years! I feel like it's been ages since I posted, but I have been working on lots of fun things!! The girls went back to school today, and we were busy, but not crazy, over our holidays. I think we were all pretty much ready to get back to routine today, though I could definitely have slept an extra hour or two ;) Last month I was lucky enough to win the Let's Toast Lawn Fawn stamp from the LF Blog when they posted their new releases! They mailed it right out to me and I picked up the coordinating dies and Pull Tab add-on dies so I could get a head start on my Valentine Cards. Let me tell you, these are so cute! The pull tab is quick and easy to figure out and I had fun putting it together. I definitely wanted to share these two cute cards with you along with a video so you can see how they came together.

I just love how this little poptart peeks out of the toaster! I coloured the images with Copics and Prismacolor Markers and layered them on patterned paper by Pink Paislee/Paige Evans and Pink Fresh Studio for nontraditional Valentine colours.

The little faces that come in the set are adorable, and the sentiments are so punny!

Here's a look at the video where you can see it in motion!

And here's a bonus second card I created with this set, turning it into a Thank You card!

I love that the pop up mechanism works with both the poptarts and the toast! Here I used some pretty heart paper from Paige Evans' newest Whimsical collection.

You could turn this into a Hello card, Happy Birthday or Valentine!

The cute cheeks come as a stamp that fits perfectly - I always have to add rosy cheeks, so I definitely love these!

Inside, I added a gift card holder cut with a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die and a Thanks sentiment cut from a Sizzix die.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic week, and would love to know if you're thinking about creating Valentine Cards yet. 💗

Lasting Memories - Blessed & So Grateful Thanksgiving Layout!

Hello! I'm so excited to be joining the Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge Blog as a Guest Designer for another challenge week! This month the theme is Fall Celebrations, and this week our challenge is to create a layout about Thanksgiving or something that you are thankful for. Since today is the Sunday before Thanksgiving in Canada I thought I'd do a double page layout using photos from last year's celebration!

I'm using paper from a Recollections fall paper pad, which has some lovely gold foil elements in it and a watercolor look. This coordinated nicely with the watercolor florals in the Pink and Cream Bouquet Ephemera from Cheeky Studios and the AC gold word thickers.

I added a bit more sparkle with some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins (don't forget to use the code KARLA15 to save 15% at the SMS Shop!) I like using Ranger Multi Medium, which dries clear, to apply the sequins.

I used sentiments from the Tim Holtz Chit Chat Occasions sticker booklet in both black and white around my pages.

This pretty chipboard flower sticker and the ampersand from one of Paige Evan's collections also have gold foil on them and coordinate nicely. I based my layouts on a double page sketch from a Use Your Own Paper class from Scrapbookin' Adventures

We always do a table selfie at big dinners!

I was able to size some of my photos at 3x4 and add the journaling in the Project Life app on my phone. It is free now and is such a wonderful way to create photo collages before you print. This way I was able to get extra pics on my pages! I also always edit my photos with Pic Tap Go, which is well worth the money, and can be used within the PL app!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge Blog to see what all the other Design Team Members came up with for this challenge, and enter your own for a chance to win. You have all month to enter and four different challenges to participate in. I love that this gives you a jumpstart to scrapbooking Fall Celebrations! I'd love to see what you come up with 💘Have a wonderful week ahead, and Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!

Kitty Bee Designs - Get Well Soon Panda Card!

Hi! I'm popping back in today to share a cute Get Well card using an adorable Kitty Bee Designs Get Well Soon Panda 1 Digital Stamp. How can tiny bandaids be so darn cute?!! I'm still having fun using the awesome Paige Evans Pick Me Up papers and thought they'd be perfect with this cute card, making anyone who's under the weather feel a little bit better. I coloured this panda cutie with coloured pencils and added Glossy Accents to the little bandaid and cast to add some dimension before cutting him out on a YNS Stitched Tag Die. I really love how quick and easy this guy can be coloured up with a little shading.

I used a sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps on a Spellbinders Tab Die along with a few cute Pretty Pink Posh heart stamps, which I also added Glossy Accents to. I really love the Bamboo Stencil from Little Birdie Crafts - it worked great with some Evergreen Bough Distress Ink to add a bit more colour to the tag. A beautiful Little Birdie Crafts handmade paper flower and some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins finish off this bright and colourful card.

Inside I used another sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps and stamped three more tiny hearts.

Weekend Update, SMS Layout & Junk Journal Giveaway!!

Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! The time flies so quickly... We did a bit of sledding with the girls on the Saturday since it was finally warm enough to venture outside as long as we were bundled up! My husband celebrated his birthday and I tried out a Duncan Hines Carrot Cake, which was surprisingly awesome! Sometimes I'm just too tired to bake a cake, so I opted to go the cake mix route, and we all loved it. We ventured across town to the Farmers Market on Sunday where I had my favourite Chicken Tortilla Soup and we did a little shopping and picked up some mini Simon Says Pies to take home. The dessert pies are about a 4" pie shell filled with many different types of yummy fillings!!

The girls tried out a couple new sleds we recently picked up!

And here's the layout I shared over on the SpiegelMom Scraps Instagram Feed last week. In September we got our family photos taken and they are beautiful with the pretty Fall colours in the background. I'm planning a few different layouts to go with the Fall theme, but for this page I really wanted to use the photo with these lovely Paige Evans collections so I changed it to black & white. I really love the look of it, and I think I need to scrap some more B&W photos! Be sure to check out the IG post HERE to see closeups, details, and see the layout by Brianna Lepper that I scraplifted to create this page!

Don't forget to use the code KARLA15 to save 15% off all your purchases at the SMS shop!

Lastly, today I want to share a fantastic giveaway over on the Canvas Corp Brand Creative Studio Blog - a Handmade 7gypsies Junk Journal and Creativation 2018 Swag. There are just a couple more days to leave a comment on the blog post to be entered to win - the draw is March 1st. If you haven't checked out the Creative Studio Blog, there is so much inspiration on it, it's well worth a look!

I hope you have a fantastic week ahead! Stay warm friends 😉
