Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge #620- Clean & Simple!

Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?
We've got some fabulous ideas for you
and can't wait to see what you create!

This week, Krafty Girl Jennifer is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is:

CLEAN AND SIMPLE!

Clean and simple is definitely not my usual style, and it's actually a struggle to know when to stop, lol, but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out! I'm using the awesome My Type stamp set, which has so many amazing sentiments. I've been wanting to use this Tim Holtz typewriter embossing folder forever and this was the perfect card to use it on! I even added a couple of the little staples from the Tiny Attacher stapler in the corners.

I stamped my sentiment with Magical Midnight Ink - such a great navy colour, and watercoloured this cute typewriter in with Zebra Clickart Pens! I popped up the typewriter with foam tape and added three of the sparkly Classic Krafty Dots to embellish. Let me tell you, it was hard to stop, lol!

Inside, I stamped the paper from the My Type set and a Get Well Soon Sentiment, adding a little yellow heart to finish it off!

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Gerda Steiner Designs - Umbrella Mouse Card!

Hello sweet friends! I just love seeing all the lovely new images available in the Gerda Steiner Designs shop, and today I'm sharing this super cute Umbrella Mouse digi with you. This cutie could be used for many different occasions, but I chose a get well sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps to coordinate with it. I decided to do some paper piecing to give her a trendy umbrella, scarf and jacket - and I'm sharing just how to do that in a little tutorial on the GSD Blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs blog to see closeups and details on this pretty card, and have a lovely weekend!

Kitty Bee Designs - Get Well Soon Panda Card!

Hi! I'm popping back in today to share a cute Get Well card using an adorable Kitty Bee Designs Get Well Soon Panda 1 Digital Stamp. How can tiny bandaids be so darn cute?!! I'm still having fun using the awesome Paige Evans Pick Me Up papers and thought they'd be perfect with this cute card, making anyone who's under the weather feel a little bit better. I coloured this panda cutie with coloured pencils and added Glossy Accents to the little bandaid and cast to add some dimension before cutting him out on a YNS Stitched Tag Die. I really love how quick and easy this guy can be coloured up with a little shading.

I used a sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps on a Spellbinders Tab Die along with a few cute Pretty Pink Posh heart stamps, which I also added Glossy Accents to. I really love the Bamboo Stencil from Little Birdie Crafts - it worked great with some Evergreen Bough Distress Ink to add a bit more colour to the tag. A beautiful Little Birdie Crafts handmade paper flower and some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins finish off this bright and colourful card.

Inside I used another sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps and stamped three more tiny hearts.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop over at the Kitty Bee Designs Blog to see all the awesome inspiration from our Design Team, and the KBD Etsy Shop to see all the adorable images available! (PS. Pretty Cute Stamps - The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow!

Hello! I'm sharing a cute get well card over at the Pretty Cute Stamps blog today, and since it is officially Spring I thought the PCS Rain Or Shine clear stamp set would be the perfect thing to use! I recently went through all my patterned paper and found this cute umbrella paper in my stash - it immediately made me think of this adorable stamp set!

I stamped the umbrella on some patterned paper and used my Prismacolor and Hobby Colour Markers to add some colour to the edges and handle before popping up with foam dots.  I really love the font on 'The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow' sentiment from the set!

I've been playing around with my new Distress Oxide Inks and created a background with some fun splatters! These inks are awesome!! I used my CTMH oval cutting system to cut out a piece of the background along with a black mat. I love the way the sunshine stamp in the Rain Or Shine stamp set peeks out from behind the umbrella! I added some yellow marker colour on the sun and then dropped some Glossy Accents over the oval and umbrella to look like rain drops.

I tied a pretty blue silk ribbon and added my favourite sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps!

I love all the fun sentiments in this set - and this was perfect for my get well card, and these little rubber boots are so adorable with a matching paper pieced print!

Be sure to head over to the Pretty Cute Stamps blog to see lots more inspiration!

Hero Arts Layering Stamps - Two Ways!

A couple months ago I won this awesome Color Layering Bird and Branch stamp from Scrap Shotz, an online scrapbook and card making supply company based in Calgary AB! I love these layering stamps and it was so fun to play with a couple colour combinations. I'll definitely be spending more time with these!

Here are a couple cards I made using them -

I played around with some of the inks in my stash to see how they layered on Specialty Stamping paper. The first layer of this bright guy turned out really weird, lol, so I stamped another and popped him up! I love playing around and even if things don't work out I can either usually salvage it or chalk it up to a learning experience. It's been sooooo cold here lately - we've had a week of temps feeling like at least -25*C so this card made me remember that eventually spring is going to come ;)

These beautiful sequins in the Let's Be Mermaids Sequin collection from SpiegelMom Scraps matched my card perfectly!

I layered the main stamped panel on the BoBunny Believe papers from the 6x6 paper pack. I love the 'mixed media' look of these papers! I love this sentiment that would make anyone feel perkier.

For my second card I created a different look - going for a Christmassy feeling card. I really like the blues stamped together.

I used the Holly Berries Sequin Mix from SpiegelMom Scraps for this card - this has been one of my favourite mixes to use this season!

I added a layer of that awesome BoBunny paper, punched on top with a notebook punch and wrapped with twine before popping up my stamped panel. The cardbase is actually a silvery shiny paper, adding to the Holiday feel.

If you came from Jessica's blog "Kissin' Krafts" you are in the right place. If you just stumbled across this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the Pretty Cute Stamps Blog

For my project for the hop, I've used the Cattitude stamp set to create a sweet little get well card! I just absolutely love this set!! I used the coordinating SVG cuts and stamped my sweet sleeping kitty on white cardstock along with his water bowl and ball of yarn. I used Prismacolor Markers to colour in my images and then stamped a fish stamp and paw print on a circle punched from white cardstock to create a hanging picture. Doesn't this living room look just the coziest?!!

I created the mat by using my Cricut Explore to cut two ovals. Then, I stencilled the pattern using a Tim Holtz stencil and Distress Ink. I popped my kitty up on top of the yarn and mat with foam dots.

I absolutely love how my TV turned out! I cut it in Design Space using the Nifty Fifty's Cricut Cartridge and then stamped the inside with one of the awesome sentiments from this Cattitude stamp set. A tiny paw print stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink finished it off!

Here's a close up of this awesome set!!
