Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March New Release Sneak Peeks Day 2 - Party Piggies!

Welcome back Krafty friends! Did you enjoy yesterday's previews?? How awesome all the amazing new goodies?? We are back with more inky goodness for our MARCH 2020 release for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and today we are continuing the birthday bash with a set of real party animals.... by artist Sabrina van Vloten! It's called....PARTY PIGGIES!
These guys are ready to start quite the shindig! This stamp set is chock full of amazing images, tons of sentiments and adorable accessory stamps!
I decided to use lots of awesome images from the stamp sets to create two cute cards! I found some fun birthday party paper and coordinated the images and stencils to make a fabulous set of birthday cards. I stamped one of the birthday candle numbers for a special little man who'll be turning two soon! I think he's going to 'squeal' with delight when he sees this card! 🐷
I coloured in the images with Copic Markers after stamping with Wicked Black Ink and added white gel pen highlights. Some glitter paper adds even more bling and the NEW Party Time Krafty Dots are perfect to add another pop of excitment!
Inside, I stamped a coordinating sentiment with Goblin Green Krafty Kolours Ink (our Ink Of The Month On Sale!!) and used a rainbow of Krafty Kolours Inks to add a festive banner from the NEW Banner Stencil.
The Glossy Accents on the banners add neat dimension, and these little piggies look like they're having soooo much fun that now I'm totally craving cake! I made this card for my oldest daughter who'll be turning 32 later this month! As you can see these stamps are going to make both littles and bigs very happy.
I coloured up the party hats and gifts in lots of bright colours to match and stamped sentiments with Krafty Kolours Inks, which stamp beautifully and also allow you to work with Copics and Watercolour Mediums.
Inside the second card I used the triangular banner and another adorable sentiment!

Here's a look at the VIDEO where you can see all our Day 2 New Release goodies closeup!

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge #514 - Happy Birthday!

Hello, hello!! I hope you've all been having a wonderful week so far! It's been super cold here in Alberta, Canada, but it's looking like the temp will be a bit more comfortable over the next few days! I've been staying in and getting crafty though for this week's challenge over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog - our theme is Happy Birthday! Who doesn't love a birthday card? 💗 I can always use more in my stash, so this was an easy one...

I'm using the brand new Happy Hedgehogs stamp set from the January Release. This is perfect not only for Valentines, but I thought the balloon was great for a birthday card, and how many sweet friendship cards could you also make... and think about a sweet bookmark or bookstore gift card holder with that little book reading hedgehog!

After stamping this cutie on bristol cardstock with Wicked Black Krafty Kolours Ink, which is Copic friendly and waterproof, I made a few masks with a sticky note and added four more balloons. I simply used a black marker to draw in the string. I used a watercolour palette to colour the images in and cut it out with a Sizzix dotted oval die.

I used some coordinating papers, diecut ephemera and stickers from a couple SCT Sampler Packs to finish creating my card after stamping the sweet sentiment from the Happy Hedgehogs set. You'll see the sketch I was inspired by below! I added a few of the beautiful Lovey Dots, some Stickles and used Glossy Accents to create a domed effect over the balloons.

Here are the details:

Cupcake Wishes Triangle Fold Card!

Hey friends! I'm over on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog today to share a cute cupcake birthday card with you all using the Let's Eat Cupcake digital stamp. This little guy is currently FREE so you'll definitely want to grab him! I brought out my Copic Markers and coloured him up with a fun and yummy cupcake - perfect for a birthday card. I used the Mama Elephant Birthday Messages Stamp Set to add the 'cupcake wishes' sentiment and the inside sentiment as well that says 'have a sweet birthday'. These fun papers are by Doodlebug Design and were included with the August SCT Sampler Pack. Of course I had to add some pretty SpiegelMom Scraps Sequins! (Be sure to use the code KARLA15 to save 15% off in the SMS Shop)

This is a triangle fold card, which is super easy - basically, you are scoring an 8 1/2"x11" piece of cardstock at 5 1/2" on the long edge and 4 1/4" on the short edge and then cutting it from corner to corner. The flaps then fold in to create your card front. You'll get two cards front one sheet of cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog to see closeups and details. You might even want to check out the Shop to see what inspires you today! Have a fantastic weekend friends.

Ha-Bee Birthday!

Hello my friends! Today, I'm sharing a cute little birthday card over at the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog using the sweet GSD Ha-Bee Birthday Digital Stamp. I love using yellow, and this little bee gave me the perfect opportunity to work it into my design. I coloured this cute bee using Copic Markers and then fussy cut it out before adding gel pen highlights and foam tape to pop it up.

I diecut some clouds using the Studio Katia Sky Set Borders Dies and lightly brushed them with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink on the edge. I layered it on some honeycomb patterned paper from my stash and even inlaid a sun using Tim Holtz Metallic cardstock and the SK die. A few Studio Katia Gold Sparkle Crystals scattered around the card add just a little more bling! I added the perfect coordinating sentiment from the Mama Elephant Birthday Messages Stamp Set 😉 stamped with my fav Gina K Amalgam Black Ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog to see more closeups and the inside of this cute card, and check out the GSD Shop for lots of fun clear and digi stamps!

Your Next Stamp June New Release Preview!!

Hello friends! I'm super excited to be guest designing this month for the fabulous Your Next Stamp!! I absolutely love working with this company and I'm always wowed by their fun and creative stamps, dies and accessories. Today is a special Sneak Peek Preview Day where you get to see what all the designers are doing with the awesome new stamps - before the big reveal Blog Hop on Thursday! Today, I'm using the super sweet Card Buddies stamp set to create three different cards. This stamp set is so versatile with so many different accessories!

The first card is a cute teacher thank-you card using the bunny and puppy in the set. I coloured all the animals and accessories in with Copic Markers and then mixed and matched them to fit each card. I thought the glasses, bowtie, book and apple were just perfect to set the scene for a teacher card! I used a thanks sentiment from the YNS Whatnot Sentiments Set Four stamp set and embossed with Emerald Creek Glacier White embossing powder on black cardstock. The stars are from a new set Cool Tees stamped with Distress Oxide Ink. (I'll be using the Cool Tees set on Thursday!!)

I used various papers and embellishments from the Scrapbook & Cards Today Sampler Packs from the last couple months. These are always fun to dig through to create something! I added a little Glossy Accents to the bunny's glasses - I love those glasses!!

For the second card I decided to create a wedding or anniversary card, using some soft floral paper in the background and the bear and pig stamps. I cut out the stitched frame border using the YNS Photo Booth Panel Die.

I added layers of foam tape to the animals and their arms and accessories to give them dimension. A bit of white gel pen adds detail to the images at the end.

And for the third card, because I just had to use all the images... I used the raccoon and cat to create a birthday card. I again used the YNS Photo Booth Panel Die, but instead of layering it on top of a full background piece, I used to the die to cut out focal cake images and placed them into the diecut on the cardbase. I added sequin embellishments from some Wild Whisper Designs sequin packs by SpiegelMom Scraps.

I added some Distress Oxide Inks to the Hooray For Cake diecut ephemera piece and popped it up with foam dots. I just love these little guys, and I still have so many more accessories to create with!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what all the other designers have come up with using this month's New Release goodies, and don't forget to pop back Thursday morning at 11 am EST for a fantastic and fun blog hop with a special sale code, a giveaway and lots of inspiration!

Have a wonderful week my friends!!

Kitty Bee Designs #125 - Birthday!

Hi Friends! I hope you've been having a lovely week so far! I've had lots of fun creating projects lately and here's one more for you!  It's time for the midweek inspiration for Challenge #125 Birthday over at the Kitty Bee Designs Challenge Blog - Aloha Friday!

Challenge #125

Super big thanks to our sponsor for this challenge
Nitwit Collections - https://www.nitwitcollections.com/shop/
and
Scrap N' Dipity - http://scrapndipity.com

For my project I'm using the gorgeous Sunflower Cottage Collection from Nitwit Collections. They have amazing digital scrapbooking and cardmaking collections, and I thought the beautiful sunflowers and butterflies would make a perfect birthday card to go along with this week's challenge theme!

I used my Cricut Explore to print & cut the lovely elements in the kit and typed in the Happy Birthday in a scripty font.

I added some pretty Stickles and popped the wings of the butterflies up. Since they were printed on white cardstock they are stiff enough to keep their shape.

I used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists on the background and the white doily to add colour and shine to my card. Some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins add a few extra pops of colour. I just love the striped bag and the pretty flowers!

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from Pink & Main with gold embossing powder and added another diecut flower. I was really impressed at how well the Cricut Print & Cut option worked, but you could cut these out by hand if you like with a border too.

I was really pleased with how beautiful the printables were and love how everything coordinates. All I had to do was layer it all together!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenge to see all the inspiration from the other awesome Design Team members - and enter your own project HERE for a chance to win!! Have a wonderful weekend!
