Your Next Stamp June New Release Preview!!

Hello friends! I'm super excited to be guest designing this month for the fabulous Your Next Stamp!! I absolutely love working with this company and I'm always wowed by their fun and creative stamps, dies and accessories. Today is a special Sneak Peek Preview Day where you get to see what all the designers are doing with the awesome new stamps - before the big reveal Blog Hop on Thursday! Today, I'm using the super sweet Card Buddies stamp set to create three different cards. This stamp set is so versatile with so many different accessories!

The first card is a cute teacher thank-you card using the bunny and puppy in the set. I coloured all the animals and accessories in with Copic Markers and then mixed and matched them to fit each card. I thought the glasses, bowtie, book and apple were just perfect to set the scene for a teacher card! I used a thanks sentiment from the YNS Whatnot Sentiments Set Four stamp set and embossed with Emerald Creek Glacier White embossing powder on black cardstock. The stars are from a new set Cool Tees stamped with Distress Oxide Ink. (I'll be using the Cool Tees set on Thursday!!)

I used various papers and embellishments from the Scrapbook & Cards Today Sampler Packs from the last couple months. These are always fun to dig through to create something! I added a little Glossy Accents to the bunny's glasses - I love those glasses!!

For the second card I decided to create a wedding or anniversary card, using some soft floral paper in the background and the bear and pig stamps. I cut out the stitched frame border using the YNS Photo Booth Panel Die.

I added layers of foam tape to the animals and their arms and accessories to give them dimension. A bit of white gel pen adds detail to the images at the end.

And for the third card, because I just had to use all the images... I used the raccoon and cat to create a birthday card. I again used the YNS Photo Booth Panel Die, but instead of layering it on top of a full background piece, I used to the die to cut out focal cake images and placed them into the diecut on the cardbase. I added sequin embellishments from some Wild Whisper Designs sequin packs by SpiegelMom Scraps.

I added some Distress Oxide Inks to the Hooray For Cake diecut ephemera piece and popped it up with foam dots. I just love these little guys, and I still have so many more accessories to create with!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what all the other designers have come up with using this month's New Release goodies, and don't forget to pop back Thursday morning at 11 am EST for a fantastic and fun blog hop with a special sale code, a giveaway and lots of inspiration!

Have a wonderful week my friends!!

Scrap 'N Stamp - Side Order Blog Hop!

Hi friends! I'm really excited to be part of another awesome blog hop with the Scrap 'N Stamp team, and this month we are featuring the fantastic Tim Holtz Side Orders!! If you've come from Amber's Blog you're in the right place. If you want to start at the beginning, head over to see Tara at the Scrap 'N Stamp Blog. Wait till you see the amazing projects everyone creates with these cool Side Order sets...

Today I'm using the Side Order of Love set to create a beautiful summery wedding card! These are adorable little sets that come with some mini dies and a coordinating embossing folder. You can use them in the Tim Holtz Side Kick or in your regular diecutting/embossing machine.  I used my Cuttlebug for my project, but I'm really tempted to get that adorable Side Kick ;) Scroll down to see close up photos and a link to my Process Video below where I have a tutorial to create this Double Z Fold Card.

This wedding image from the Tim Holtz Paper Dolls pack was just right to add to the front of this card! I coloured in the flowers to make them pop.

The Emerald Creek Northern Lights embossing powder created a cool resist on the tag that I embossed with the mini heart embossing folder included in the set. I added some Tattered Angels mists to the background and then layered on the adorable envelopes cut from the dies. I used the Love die to cut the sentiment a few times and stacked them to create a chipboard-look.

I used a pretty Kaisercraft paper pad to cover the folds - I love the soft colours! Here you can see what it looks like when it's opened up.

I have a spot to write a message and even added a little envelope on a paper clip, which would also be perfect for a planner! Aren't those Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers sweet!!

Inside I stamped a greeting from Your Next Stamp. I love the little heart candy box! And don't forget you can use the heart and bow separate - so many possibilities.

I finished off with a few SpiegelMom Scraps sequins and really love how this card turned out! You can see that this Side Order of Love is not just for Valentines, but has so many uses. I never get tired of using hearts on my projects 💜

FCCB 245 - Use The Color Red!

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #245-Use the color red

This Weeks Sponsor

Bugaboo Stamps

Create a project using the color RED!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

For my project this week I designed a wedding card for my oldest daughter. She got married on the February 1st weekend and her wedding was so lovely! I actually got to walk her down the isle, which meant so much to me. She was so beautiful!

I used the Wall Decor and More Cricut cartridge to cut the heart and scroll. I embossed the red heart layer with a dots embossing folder in my Cuttlebug and layered it over the black scroll cut.

I just love this Jack & Diane Sign It digi stamp from Bugaboo Stamps - our Sponsor! I coloured this cute couple in with Prismacolor Markers (alcohol based) after printing them out on regular white cardstock with my printer. I always use 'fast draft' so a little less ink is used and I never have a problem when colouring digi stamps in. I coloured the sign in with the black Prismacolor Marker and stamped with a white stamp pad to get a chaulkboard look. The stamp is from Close To My Heart.

I layered both the digi stamp and die cuts over a white background that I embossed in my Cuttlebug.

Inside and on the envelope, I again used the CTMH stamp and even used the inner cuts of the hearts as added embellishments.

Of course, I have to brag and show a couple pics!

Bride & Groom!

My Family!

Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you enjoy a lovely week, and don't forget to head over to FCCB to see what all the other amazing Design Team members have come up with for your viewing pleasure. You can also have a chance to win a wonderful prize from Bugaboo Stamps just by linking up your project!
