Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps February New Release HOP - Day 2 Pretty Fly!

Hello friends, and welcome back to Day 2 of the fabulous February 2020 Release Sneak Peeks from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Did you enjoy yesterday's previews of all the amazing new goodies?? Are ya ready for MORE? Be sure to check out the VIDEO below for closeups over everything!
Today we have a sweet new encouragement set by fabulous artist Cheryl Grant! It's called....PRETTY FLY! What a sweet little family of tweeters! There is one main image with an extra birdie stamp plus some wonderful and uplifting sentiments!  These little sweethearts make my heart soar!
I just love the way the little bird looks like he's getting ready to fly, so I decided to play on that and create a flip card showing him spreading his wings! This card would be perfect for Graduation or Congrats, and I love how many other occasions you could use this lovely spring set for - there are lots of options with these sentiments!
I created a background on Yupo Paper with Ranger Alcohol Inks and used a Sizzix die to cut out an oval. I used the Mama Elephant Flip Slider die to create a little flip effect showing the baby bird spreading his wings to fly!
I used one of our NEW stencils - Chubby Clouds to lightly stencil in fluffy clouds in the background with Bubbly Blue Ink (on sale this month!!)
Our NEW ink Magical Midnight is a wonderful stony blue, which I used to stamp the sentiment on the pull tab.
I used Copic Markers to colour in the images. You could use so many colour combinations for these cuties! I added three of our NEW Heavenly Dots on the bottom left of the card for a touch more of texture and colour!
Inside, I stamped the cute stand alone birdie and a cheerful sentiment, and I used the NEW Fabulous Feathers Stencil with Bubbly BlueLovely Lagoon and NEW Magical Midnight Inks.
Here's a look at the VIDEO where you can see everything included in the Pretty Fly stamp set along with the interactive card I created in action!

Spring Layout Using Alcohol Pearl Inks and Chipboard!

Hello! I sure hope all my Canadian friends have enjoyed a lovely long Victoria Day Weekend, and that all my other crafty friends had lots of fun this weekend too! The weather hasn't been fantastic here in Calgary, Alberta, but we definitely still enjoyed the long weekend. Today, I'm over at the Southern Ridge Trading Company Blog with a pretty spring layout using some lovely chipboard pieces from the SRTC Shop and customizing them with Alcohol Pearl Inks. I'm telling you, the more I use these inks the more I love them! I'm also using a pretty stencil from the shop to add some soft detail with Distress Oxide Inks.

Here's a look at the Process Video where you can see how I put it all together-

Supplies Used:
SRTC Chipboard - Foliage Pieces and Wild Flower Bouquet
SRTC Loop Stencil
Ranger Alcohol Pearl Ink by Tim Holtz
Ranger Distress Oxide Inks by Tim Holtz
My Mind’s Eye Happy Days Paper
Pinkfresh Studio Sticky Notes

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Southern Ridge Trading Company Blog for more closeups and details, and enjoy a wonderful week ahead!

Hello Tag with Embossing Powders and Alcohol Pearl Inks!

Hello friends! I'm popping by today with a project that I'm sharing on the Emerald Creek Dares blog for our newest challenge Flowers On The Wall. Even though we still have snow, I am holding out hope that before long we will see flowers blooming, lol! And, I'm always up for crafting with flowers! I decided to create a tag and use some of the new Eileen Hull Molten Dimension embossing powders. They are amazing!! I also had a lot of fun playing with the new Ranger Alcohol Pearl Inks... so yum! They work amazing on Yupo paper as well as to customize any metallic embellishments. You'll be able to get closeups on each step on the EC blog!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Emerald Creek Dares blog to see a full tutorial, supply list, closeups and find out how to enter your floral project this month for a chance to win an awesome prize!! Have a wonderful week friends. xx
