Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Krafty Komeback, Girly Sparkly Challenge #551 and WCMD!!

It's a very exciting day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Not only is it challenge day but it's also time for a Krafty Komeback!! In case you are new to Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, we have been creating whimsical krafty stamp sets for almost ELEVEN YEARS!  So we have lots of incredible designs that have long retired and once in a while we bring one back for you!

Today we are bringing back two holiday images that were originally released in 2012!!  It's just in time for those Christmas creations!  These images were only ever released in rubber and NOW you can get them as a set in clear photopolymer!! It's called CHRISTMAS IS LOVE!

We've got a krafty hop going on today to celebrate this fun release and promotion! I decided to use the adorable elf with the tipsy tree! Seriously, these are so adorable!! I coloured her up with Copic Markers in fun colours and added some glittery accents on the Christmas balls and tree along with some of those fabulous New Christmas Dots and some pearls from a shaker mix pack. I added even more sparkle with some Gina K Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel and this month's New Release Twinkle Little Stars Stencil on the wood grain paper behind her.

The lovely paper I used is from the P13 Winter Season paper pad - so pretty!! I white heat embossed the awesome sentiment and added a little more fun and bling with a snowflake brad and some more snowflake shaker elements!

Inside, I added another one of the great sentiments, stamped with Krafty Kolours Ink! I can't wait to send this card to someone special!!

PLUS we've got a new challenge for you and it's GIRLY AND SPARKLY! Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like. These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and products will earn you double entries! The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!! Woohoo!  There are two ways to enter: you can link up your creation on the  Kraftin’ Kimmie blog page and you can upload your photo to the album in our Krafty Friends FB group.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends!!! Happy New Year and welcome back to another fun challenge over on the Kraftin' Kimmie BlogWe challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card - and you have all month to enter!!!

For this challenge you can make anything you want to....except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!!
Just make sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!
You have until Monday February 3rd to play along AND you can join as many times as you like as long as they are new creations! Also be sure to share your creations on the Krafty Friends facebook page because we LOVE to see your stuff! (P.S. While you're there you might just find a couple more challenges to have fun with! Check the Announcements page for current challenges!)

For this challenge I decided to create a gift tag and envelope using the Let's Get Krafty and Krafty Love Stamp Sets, Pretty In Pink (on sale!), Ruby Red and Stormy Sky Krafty Kolours Inks, the Wonky Chevron Stencil and Lovey Krafty Dots.

I picked up these Krafty stamps last month from the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop and couldn't wait to use them! They both go together well, and I love the krafty sayings 😉 Why not celebrate our 'kraftiness' with krafty stamps?!! I coloured the girl on the tag with Copic Markers and added some white gel pen highlights. I also recently won some Viva Decor Relief Paperpaste from the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine 12 Days of Giving. It's a very cool 'paper-like' texture paste that works great with stencils and absorbs ink once it's dry.

I created a base of the Relief Paperpaste with the Wonky Chevron stencil and then sponged on the pink and red inks listed above. I love the Krafty Kolours inks! They are a hybrid ink that stamp beautifully and also blend wonderfully. I layered papers from my stash using the Maggie Holmes Bloom collection and added stickers and chipboard from the Simple Stories Spring Farmhouse line. Some coordinating twine and Krafty Dots add even more texture and fun!

I'm going to add this pretty tag to a gift for someone special and of course I'll need a coordinating envelope! I used the Wonky Chevron stencil again and some of the Pretty In Pink Ink to add a subtle pattern to the middle of the envelope. After stamping another krafty girl I used coloured pencils this time to colour in the image.

I added a little flower sticker to her hair, some white gel pen highlights and some more Krafty Dots. I plan on hand delivering this envelope, so I didn't mind adding a little extra dimension. How fun to get an embellished envelope that will give you just a taste of what's going to be inside?!

On the back of the tag I added a few more of the Simple Stories stickers and stamped another krafty sentiment. I embellished the envelope flap as well and stamped a sentiment with the red ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Check out some incredible inspiration from the Krafty Design Team below, then join us for all the fun!! You can link up on the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog and  the Krafty Friends facebook page. I can't wait to see what you share!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge Use The Colour Blue!

Good morning!  I am so super excited to be joining the Kraftin' Kimmie team as a guest designer this month!! I absolutely love Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, stencils, inks and enamel dots - and am thrilled and honoured to be sharing some of their amazing products with you throughout January. Today is the very first Saturday challenge of 2020 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, and we can't wait to see what you create!

This week the challenge is to create something with the Colour Blue, so I decided to grab the Whimsical Gnomes and Beautiful Blooms Stamp Sets, Krafty Kolours Inks in Stormy Sky, Bubbly BlueMermaid Melody and Totally Taupe, the Stained Glass Stencil and Krafty Dots from the Polar and Krafty Basics packs and created a blue tone on tone card with a touch of whimsy!

I am absolutely loving the Krafty Kolours hybrid inks! They stamp beautifully, can be used with Copics and watercolours and also sponge wonderfully through the Kraftin' Kimmie stencils. I used the Totally Taupe Ink to stamp the cute images from the Whimsical Gnomes set so I could use my Copics and get a no-line effect. I love how it turned out!

The flowers from the Beautiful Blooms set really are beautiful, and I love the solid image you get. I used the blue inks listed above and then layered them on the card. For the background I used the lightest Bubbly Blue ink through the Stained Glass stencil and then used the Stormy Sky (one of my favourites!) around the edges.

I added a sweet sentiment from the Whimsical Gnomes set, embossed with Emerald Creek Glacier White embossing powder. I added some coordinating dots from the Krafty Basics and Polar packs.

We also have a sketch to inspire you for the month of January! Feel free to use it any time you like when you need a little kickstart to your creative process!

Each and every Saturday there is a brand new challenge for the week, and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like! These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and products will earn you double entries! There are TWO ways to enter....you can link up your creation on the Krafty Kimmie Challenge Post AND you can upload your photo to the album in the Krafty Friends facebook group!

Die Cuttin' Divas Guest Designer... Ch #435 Thinking Of You

Hello friends! I am so super excited to be joining the fabulous Die Cuttin' Divas this week for Challenge # 435 Thinking Of You!! You will find so much amazing inspiration using diecuts - and you can enter with whatever diecutting method you choose! This is the perfect opportunity to get out any of your electronic or manual diecutting machines and play around. I just love the theme this week... I think we can all use more thinking of you cards, so I decided to cut this one using a premade project in Cricut Design Space. I changed the colours and used Kaisercraft patterned paper to create a soft, watercolour card. You can find the link to the project in Design Space HERE.

I layered on each of the diecuts and glued them using Tacky Glue and foam tape to create dimension. I love using the premade projects in Design Space and then customizing them to fit my style.

I used Nuvo Crystal Drops in pink and silver to add flower centers and as embellishments to the card. A bit of Distress Oxide Inks add some shading to the edge of the flowers, and the marbled paper in the background adds just a subtle colour variation.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Die Cuttin' Divas Blog to see what all the other designers have come up with for this challenge, and link your own Thinking Of You project! We love to see all the amazing inspiration 💜

They work amazing on Yupo paper as well as to customize any metallic embellishments. You'll be able to get closeups on each step on the EC blog!

Kitty Bee Designs - #100 Challenge Celebration!

Hello! I hope you've been having a wonderful week! It's been really hot here, and I'm not going to complain at all because our summer is so short! So we've actually been inside a lot during the hottest parts of the day. Thursday, the girls and I went to our local scrapbook store for a card make 'n take, which was fun, and I got to visit with a couple of my besties- also fun! And then we did some shopping ;) After supper we had family movie night and watched ET. My two younger girls had never watched it and I hadn't seen it in a long time. They loved it!

So, today I'm popping in to share a cute Kitty Bee Designs card using the Happy Birthday digital stamp to celebrate the 100th Challenge Celebration Post for the Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenge Blog!! They are celebrating 4 years of challenges - so amazing!

I printed this cutie out on kraft cardstock and coloured her in with Jane Davenport Magic Wand coloured pencils. Then, I used a square Kaisercraft stitched die to cut her out. I am absolutely loving these stitched dies!!

I added a couple cute paw prints with my new Antique Linen Distress Oxide (I'm going to love this ink!) and a birthday sentiment from a Your Next Stamp set.

I layered some Kaisercraft Wildflower paper (love!) on a kraft base along with a scalloped Spellbinders Nestabilities diecut and used some SpiegelMom Scraps string and sequins along with a pretty 28 Lilac Lane button. A touch of Glossy Accents and Stickles finishes it off, and now she's ready to help somebody special celebrate their birthday!

In honor of our 100th challenge celebration, we’d like to invite you, our amazing fans and friends, to join in for a special round of amazing giveaways!! There’s a ton of ways to win one of NINE different sponsored prizes... NINE of them!!!

Inspiration Saturday!

Hi friends!! I hope you had a great week! We went to Invermere, BC this past week and enjoyed some wonderful warm weather and some relaxing time on the beach. It was awesome! I'm back to bring you some crafty inspiration for your weekend, whether you're at home or enjoying some time away! Here's a cute pic of my two littles enjoying their time at the beach ;)

1. Dawn Nicole Designs has a wonderful colouring page download for you to enjoy free! I love taking colouring with me on the beach! I have an inkjet printer, so to avoid any ink smudges I colour  using coloured pencils (love my Jane Davenport ones!) or use Copics or other alcohol based Markers. I print directly on white cardstock without changing any printer settings.

2. Tim Holtz had a Facebook live video Friday showing all the amazing Halloween goodies he's coming out with, and boy are they awesome! I know it's still early, but as crafters we've gotta be on things in order to have time to create ;) and I have to admit I'm a tad bit excited!!

3. Canvas Corp Brands blog - The Creative Studio, has its July challenge up and running with a flags of the world theme! Simply interpret the Inspiration Board your way using your own supplies and you could win a box full of goodies from Canvas Corp, Tattered Angels and 7gypsies!

4.  Yvette Webber is such a talented scrapbook designer! I've been following her on Instagram, and just love seeing all her amazing projects! You can also check out her blog - Scrapping With Yvette!
5. Creative Market has free beautiful fonts and downloads. I've grabbed the awesome Loveline Brushscript this week, and their blog has lots more inspiration as well!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy a creative weekend!!

Pretty Cute Stamps February Challenge - Add Ribbon

It's been a busy week here with all the fun sneak peeks and the New Release Blog Hop from Pretty Cute Stamps, and now I get to share my card with you for our monthly challenge!

For my card I paired the two awesome sets Donut Worry, Be Happy with Coffee Faces! Because everyone knows coffee and donuts go perfectly together! I used a background of patterned paper from Fancy Pants Design and used Distress Markers to watercolour my images. My pretty bright reddish orange ribbon is a prize I won from Karen at Little Scrap Pieces! Love this crinkly ribbon!

I love the font on this What's Brewing sentiment!

Inside, I stamped a cute sentiment from the Donut Worry set and added a coffee cup with a cute face! A few more scattered sequins finishes it off.

Here's a look at the cute stamp sets I used:
