Hello friends! I'm back today with a bright summertime layout over on the Wild Whisper Blog! I had so much fun using the fabulous Lake Life Cut File Bundle and the pretty Lake Life Paper Pack! I love being able to use cutfiles to embellish my layouts and especially for titles. They were easy to upload and cut with my Cricut Maker. I also cut the circle elements on the left with a file from Design Space and inlaid the Lake Life paper, inspired by the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine June Sketch.

Two Layouts Using Scrap Shotz March 2020 Kit!
Hello! I hope you're all doing well! We had a lovely Easter Weekend and even though we didn't get to see family in person, we chatted on the phone and dropped off a few care packages. The girls were so excited to find Easter goodies waiting for them and of course we had turkey dinner. :) I also had fun putting two layouts together for the Scrap Shotz Blog using the beautiful March 2020 Kit featuring the absolutely gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio My Favorite Story collection!! I decided to start with the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine April Sketchy Challenge. If you're ever stuck or just enjoy starting with a sketch like me you'll find tons of sketches in this Facebook Group!
Here's a look at the Video where you can see how this layout came together and how fun it is to use the Tim Holtz Embossing Glazes to embellish your diecut ephemera!
And I had so much fun I had to create one more layout! This one is a special one of myself and my husband on a date night a few years ago. I loved being able to document these photos in such a beautiful way! I was able to grab the cutfiles for FREE from the Pinkfresh Studio Fan Group! The albums in the group have all the available files free to download and there is lots of inspiration, as well as challenges in their group! I used my Cricut Maker and Design Space to cut out the flowers and the leaves from cardstock that was in the kit! I decided to play along with the Fan Group's Sketch Challenge for this week and make it even more fun!
Be sure to head over to the Scrap Shotz Blog to get all the closeups and details for both these layouts, and check out this pretty kit in the Shop! We also just started a new Scrap Shotz Paper Crafting Group on Facebook, and we'd love to see you over there! Have a happy and safe week my friends!

Artist In Training Layout!
Hello friends, I'm over on the Wild Whisper Designs Blog today to share a fabulously messy layout using the brand new Child At Heart 12x12 Paper Pack and Ephemera along with the new Canadian Winter Sequins. I used one of the free cutfiles from the CSM website - Wonky Heart and backed it with the paint pour background paper included in the paper pack - perfect for this layout about a paint party! I also cut the title 'Artist In Training' with my Cricut Maker and layered everything together.

A Couple More Valentines Day Cards!
Hi! I hope you had a lovely weekend! We pretty much stayed in... I think I'm ready for winter to be over! But I did do some crafting and played games with the girls, and we had a lovely relaxing couple days. I wanted to share a couple more Valentines with you, and this cute alien stamp has been in my stash for a while just waiting to come out again! It's a Simon Says Stamp set from a few years ago when I was getting their card kits.
I stamped this cute guy on Bristol cardstock and coloured him with Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers before cutting him out with a Your Next Stamp tag die. The cute eyes look googly after I added Glossy Accents.
I used a Waffle Flower Patched Layers die to create a fun blanket stitch look around the Recollections Valentines paper from Michaels and then added the Your Next Stamp cloud dies that I stamped with the sentiment that came with the alien stamp set.
I added some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins inside and out for a bit of bling and stamped this coordinating sentiment! (Be sure to use the code KARLA15 to save 15% off your purchases at the SMS Shop!)
And, here's a look at the cute Valentines card I shared last week on the SpiegelMom Scraps Instagram feed using SMS Sequins, a FREE cutfile and an adorable digi image from Gerda Steiner Designs. You can find all the details as well as a look at the inside and a closeup HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day this week 💘

Sequin Saturday Blog Hop with SpiegelMom Scraps!
Hello crafty friends, and welcome to day 2 of a very special Triple Hop weekend! I am so so super excited to join the SpiegelMom Scraps Design Team today to share in this blog hop! Today is all about SEQUINS!!! The SpiegelMom Scraps Sparklers and some amazing guests are rocking this weekend with 3 bodacious blog hops; Friday, today and Sunday. For today's hop, you should have arrived here from Evi Cortes' blog - Life With Evi! I absolutely adore her colourful, fun projects!! So inspiring! You will definitely want to check out all the awesome designers and the amazing ways they've used the fun products available from the SpiegelMom Scraps Shop!
Today's talented blog hop line up is:
1. SMS blog
2. Missy Whidden
3. Alex Hunter
4. Laura Rumble
5. Lisa Kingston
6. Khristina Sorge
7. Sarah McClellan
8. Evi Cortes
9. Karla Yungwirth That's Me!
I recently picked up the Pink Paislee Take Me Away collection and wanted to use it on this layout. I love the colours, and the fun sequins matched beautifully! I used the orange sequins from A Day In The Woods to highlight the cute hearts on this paper strip.
The pink, yellow and blue sequins from Spring Blooms were awesome scattered over my page! I used them on the journaling card behind my photo, on the pretty flower diecuts, and on the bottom of my page beside the great books diecut!
The lovely blue sequins from A Mermaid's Tale were perfect to decorate the diecut title, which I cut from white cardstock and coloured with Prismacolor alcohol markers, and the tiny (oh so cute!) silver star sequins were just right for the book spines and on the journaling card behind my photo. I love the strips of papers in the Take Me Away papers, and found some words that fit into the openings of the books. Some stitching around my page finished it off!
Thank you for joining us today and all weekend! Please make sure you check out the other hops yesterday and tomorrow for tons more inspiration!! We would also love to see what you're creating and share even more with you in the 15 Minutes 2 Scrap Facebook group. Come on over and request to join!!
