Tattered Angels - Easy Art Projects To Create With Your Kids!

Hello! I hope you're having a fantastic week! We had a huge snowstorm yesterday and today with freezing cold temps, so I've been inside as much as possible. I'm not complaining - there are always lots of crafty projects I can get to inside 😉 Today, I'm sharing this video, 'Creating With Your Kids Using Tattered Angels' where my kids are creating art with my Tattered Angels supplies! The girls are 6 and 11, and it's not always easy to find projects they are both interested in doing, but they had so much fun making two beautiful backgrounds each that are ready to frame. You could even make these yourself quickly and easily! I'm even thinking a last minute gift to pop in a frame...!

Here's a look at the beautiful finished pieces and some closeups. I love the colours they chose to work with!

I can always find something to keep my kids, ages 5 and 10, busy with these cute easy and fun crafts and printables using things you have around the house. Our summer vaca just started, and I think we'll be checking out this site a lot ;)

5) And, lastly, I thought you might want to check out this new Photo Editing app I've found called The Color Story. It's by Elsie and Emma at A Beautiful Mess. I've been playing around with it and absolutely love it!! There are so many cool filters and light effects, with a great assortment of free filters that come with the app and the opportunity to purchase more within the app. I really love every one I've tried, and can't wait to print them off and start scrapping with them!

Glitter Tag by Amie!

Amie, who's 9, loved the idea of a challenge for kids over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog and got out the Stickles to make this marbleized tag to enter!

She embellished with Bakers Twine and added a homemade Frendship Pin using beads and a safety pin!

I love that she's so creative!

Glitter Card by Amie!

My 9 year old, Amie, has been keeping busy the last few days making some pretty crafts and when she found out that Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge blog was having a kids challenge she was excited to enter it!

For this card she chose a Dina Wakely bird stamp and coloured it in with coloured pencils before fussy cutting it out and layering it over a patterned paper background. She made a nest from sequins from the 28 Lilac Lane collection and drew a tree branch across her page.

Amie added lots of glittery fun using Stickles glitter glue on her bird, the nest, and the tree!

A cute little sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps Chick With Brains stamp set, a happy face😀 from the PCS Pen Pals 2 stamp set, some layered washi and some more glitter decorate the inside!

I'm sure Grandma is going to love this card!!
