Explosion Boxes with Wild Whisper Paper and WRMK Explosion Board!

Hello friends! I'm over on the Wild Whisper Blog today sharing some fun explosion boxes!! These are seriously so awesome to make with the New We R Memory Keepers Explosion Board! I got out some of the beautiful bright Pam Bray Sensations and Simplicity Paper Collections along with some Play In The Dirt Ephemera and Sequins. I originally filmed this Live on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Facebook Page and decided to share it today here!

I used some of the cut apart elements in the paper packs for the lid and added ephemera and sequins. I love the sentiments that come in the ephemera pack!

You can create boxes & lids in 7 different sizes, explosion boxes with instructions for flaps for pockets, gatefold cards and squash cards with the Explosion Board! I decided to go with a motivational/nature theme for these boxes. You could add photos and many more embellishments.

Here's a look at one more explosion box I created with these same supplies!

I just love the bright colours and how the different Wild Whisper collections can mix and match!

Here's a look at the VIDEO where you can see exactly how to put an explosion box together and get a closeup look at both these pretty boxes!

Woot!  Woot! Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new summertime things in our JUNE Release that are NOW AVAILABLE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop! All THREE of our new stamp sets along with two new stencils, our stunning new hybrid ink colour, Sandy Shores and sweet new krafty dots were released yesterday, and we're excited to share everything with you in a fabulous blog hop! I decided to use a little of almost everything in my project for today - first doing some paper piecing with the cute submarine from UNDERWATER FUN! I thought if I had a sub I'd definitely choose a colourful one! and I created a scene using a slimline die - tucking in the adorable Lucas in his scuba gear.

I used the KRAFTY SCENERY 3 waves to add subtle texture to the watercolour paper with Lovely Lagoon Ink, stamping one of the awesome sentiments on top! I used the same stencil and the New SANDY SHORES to stencil a sandy bottom too.

I took the cute crab from WHAT'S THE SCOOP?! and added him to the bottom of the card, and I added bubbles and seashells from TURTLEY AWESOME! A bit of Glossy Accents gave the crab's cute eyes and the bubbles some dimension, and the New SEASHORE DOTS! finish this fun card off!

So let's check everything out in action as we hop around the Krafty Design Team's blogs today!  Grab a nice hot (or cold) beverage, sit back and relax while we take you on this krafty tour! First up is fabulous girly set by artist Neda Sadreddin called WHAT'S THE SCOOP?!

Next is a fun set from artist Cheryl Grant featuring our fave kiddos called UNDERWATER FUN!

Lastly is an ADORABLY sweet stamp set from artist Becky Pearce called TURTLEY AWESOME!

Available now is our stunning new Krafty Kolours hybrid ink colour in the large ink pad, the mini cube and ink refill called ...SANDY SHORES!

We have two new stencils that coordinate perfectly with our lovely new stamp sets and they are....
NAUTICAL NETTING and KRAFTY SCENERY 3!

And lastly we have the perfect finishing touch for your summertime creations with our new Krafty Dots called... SEASHORE DOTS!

Family Game Night Scrapbook Layouts!

Hello! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I had a very special Mother's Day and even though I didn't expect to see my oldest daughter, she made a surprise visit to see me and we had a wonderful socially distanced visit. I sure do miss giving her hugs though 💗 If you want to check out the pics from my day you can find them on Instagram here or Facebook! We have definitely been having more family game nights since quarantine and I'm sharing some cute scrapbook layouts on the Scrap Shotz Blog today using the very timely Family Night collection from Carta Bella. In this first layout the girls are playing Apples to Apples, which always gets a lot of giggles!

And in this second layout we are playing Jumanji, which is fun too - and of course you never know what might happen!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Scrap Shotz Blog to see all the closeups and details on these two fun layouts. Have an amazing week friends!!

Two Layouts Using Scrap Shotz March 2020 Kit!

Hello! I hope you're all doing well! We had a lovely Easter Weekend and even though we didn't get to see family in person, we chatted on the phone and dropped off a few care packages. The girls were so excited to find Easter goodies waiting for them and of course we had turkey dinner. :) I also had fun putting two layouts together for the Scrap Shotz Blog using the beautiful March 2020 Kit featuring the absolutely gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio My Favorite Story collection!! I decided to start with the  Creative Scrapbooker Magazine April Sketchy Challenge. If you're ever stuck or just enjoy starting with a sketch like me you'll find tons of sketches in this Facebook Group!

Here's a look at the Video where you can see how this layout came together and how fun it is to use the Tim Holtz Embossing Glazes to embellish your diecut ephemera!

And I had so much fun I had to create one more layout! This one is a special one of myself and my husband on a date night a few years ago. I loved being able to document these photos in such a beautiful way! I was able to grab the cutfiles for FREE from the Pinkfresh Studio Fan Group! The albums in the group have all the available files free to download and there is lots of inspiration, as well as challenges in their group! I used my Cricut Maker and Design Space to cut out the flowers and the leaves from cardstock that was in the kit! I decided to play along with the Fan Group's Sketch Challenge for this week and make it even more fun!

Be sure to head over to the Scrap Shotz Blog to get all the closeups and details for both these layouts, and check out this pretty kit in the Shop! We also just started a new Scrap Shotz Paper Crafting Group on Facebook, and we'd love to see you over there!  Have a happy and safe week my friends!

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge #520 - For The Boys!

Good morning and welcome to another Saturday challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! This week our challenge is FOR THE BOYS. This is a great challenge to get you crafting those masculine cards for big or little boys! I could definitely stand to create more of those types of cards, so this was a fun challenge for myself. I decided to use the cute hippo image and sentiments from Hip Hippo-ray! to decorate the front of my card, which is a little on the grungy side. I coloured the Hippo image in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, stamped on Bristol Cardstock. I love how many fun images there are in this set - if you missed last week's card challenge post you can find it HERE and I'm actually using a cute girly hippo!
I pulled out an older Kaisercraft 6 1/2x 6 1/2" paper pad and used some of the awesome patterned paper, borders and cut apart images in the pad to create a fun seaside feel to this card. I inked the edges of the polaroids with Creamy Caramel Krafty Kolours Ink and then used Lovely Lagoon with the Waves Stencil to add a little more colour to the watercolour background paper. The Magical Midnight Ink was perfect to stamp sentiments from the set on the front and inside polaroids. I splattered some Tim Holtz Mica Spray on various areas by removing the nozzle and tapping it over the paper.
Inside, I added the remainder of the sentiment strip cut from the patterned paper and another polaroid with "You're Kind Of A Big Deal" stamped inside. I added a few more metallic splatters, and my card is ready for a big or little guy's Big Day!
Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like. These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp however using Kraftin' Kimmie stamp and products will earn you double entries! The monthly prize is a $40 voucher to the Krafty shop!!! Woohoo! There are two ways to enter... you can link up your creation on the Kraftin’ Kimmie blog page AND you can upload your photo to the album in our Krafty Friends FB group.
