Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps May New Release Sneak Peeks - Day 4 - Farm-tastic & Saturday Challenge!

It's our FINAL day of May Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Everything you've seen us share this week will be released this afternoon (Saturday) after our LIVE online party! All the new goodies will be available at 3pm EST!

We are closing out the festivities with a brand new adorable stamp set from artist Cheryl Grant called.... FARM-TASTIC! Here's the perfect new stamp set for the dudes in your life! Lucas and his four legged pal are out for some adventures together! There are two main images plus several coordinating sentiments. Stamp sets for guys are often hard to come by and this set works for big dudes and little dudes!

For today's project I found the perfect photos to go along with this adorable stamp set!! We have a local petting farm that is close to us and they have an old tractor where I got pics of my girls a few years back, so I decided to make a scrapbook layout using the Farm-tastic Stamps as embellishments! 

I used Copic Markers to colour up the images and here you can see I used the cute puppy from the image of the little boy fishing. I paired these cute images with the Crate Paper Magical Forest collection and used a sketch from the May SCT365 2020 Layout Online Class. I coloured the images up in colours that would coordinate both with the papers as well as the tractor in the photos.

There were some sweet little label stickers on the coordinating sticker sheet that worked great to add some of the cute sentiments from the Farm-tastic Stamp Set. I also used the NEW Radiant Rainbows Stencil with Krafty Kolours Inks, including the NEW Summer Sunshine Ink, to create another awesome embellishment that you can see peeking out from behind the tractor! I added some of the bright NEW Rainbow Bright Dots for a few last pops of colour!

Of course, today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes!  So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item.....with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp!  Use any sketch, design, colour scheme you want!

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge #516 - Combine Your Stamp Sets - and a SALE!

Hello!! I'm so excited to be back today with a fun new Saturday Challenge from the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog. This week we are challenging you to Combine Your Stamp Sets. It's always fun to pick up new goodies, but when you can combine them with other sets you have - bonus! *Be sure to check out the code below for an awesome sale in the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop!!

I pulled out 5 different sets to use on this card!! On the front I'm using Snowflake Kisses- I embossed the snowflakes with Stampendous Shabby Blue embossing powder and used a sentiment from the set stamped in Crisp Crimson Krafty Kolours Ink, the adorable Jolly Happy Snowmen -coloured with watercolour markers (PS You can check out the colouring video for that HERE) and Solid Holiday to stamp the yummy cup of hot cocoa! I used Rainbow Krafty Dots to add three pops of red at the bottom of the card. 

I coordinated the stamped images to match colours in the Crate Paper Snowflake Collection and added some puffy marshmallows and bits of snow on the sentiment strip with a snow marker, which puffs when heated.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment and another cup of cocoa with the 5th set - Beary Big Hugs using the Crisp Crimson and Marvelous Mocha Inks.

Of course you don't need to use more than 2 stamps, but I wanted to challenge myself, and I had fun mixing and matching sentiments and stamps!

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends!!! Happy New Year and welcome back to another fun challenge over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog! We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card - and you have all month to enter!!!

For this challenge you can make anything you want to....except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes...pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!!

Just make sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and make sure it's a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

You have until Monday February 3rd to play along AND you can join as many times as you like as long as they are new creations! For this challenge I decided to create a gift tag and envelope using the Let's Get Krafty and Krafty Love Stamp Sets, Pretty In Pink (on sale!), Ruby Red and Stormy Sky Krafty Kolours Inks, the Wonky Chevron Stencil and Lovey Krafty Dots.

I picked up these Krafty stamps last month from the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop and couldn't wait to use them! They both go together well, and I love the krafty sayings 😉 Why not celebrate our 'kraftiness' with krafty stamps?!! I coloured the girl on the tag with Copic Markers and added some white gel pen highlights. I also recently won some Viva Decor Relief Paperpaste from the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine 12 Days of Giving. It's a very cool 'paper-like' texture paste that works great with stencils and absorbs ink once it's dry. 

I created a base of the Relief Paperpaste with the Wonky Chevron stencil and then sponged on the pink and red inks listed above. I love the Krafty Kolours inks! They are a hybrid ink that stamp beautifully and also blend wonderfully. I layered papers from my stash using the Maggie Holmes Bloom collection and added stickers and chipboard from the Simple Stories Spring Farmhouse line. Some coordinating twine and Krafty Dots add even more texture and fun! 

I'm going to add this pretty tag to a gift for someone special and of course I'll need a coordinating envelope! I used the Wonky Chevron stencil again and some of the Pretty In Pink Ink to add a subtle pattern to the middle of the envelope. After stamping another krafty girl I used coloured pencils this time to colour in the image. 

I added a little flower sticker to her hair, some white gel pen highlights and some more Krafty Dots. I plan on hand delivering this envelope, so I didn't mind adding a little extra dimension. How fun to get an embellished envelope that will give you just a taste of what's going to be inside?!

On the back of the tag I added a few more of the Simple Stories stickers and stamped another krafty sentiment. I embellished the envelope flap as well and stamped a sentiment with the red ink.
