Tea-Riffic Day Card!

Hello! Well, we finally have a beautiful sunny day!! Yay! The girl's have been out on their bikes and we actually sat outside at the park today. It's amazing how much just being in the sun makes you feel wonderful 🌞 I am over on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog today so I thought I'd stop by to share this sweet card using the adorable Tea-riffic Mouse Digital Stamp, which is sure to make someone else feel wonderful when they receive it!

Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge - Anything Goes!

Wow! I am so excited to announce the very first Pretty Cute Stamps challenge!! This month's theme is Anything Goes with a Pretty Cute Stamps stamp on it!

Here are the challenge rules:
1. This month's challenge is Anything Goes. So, create anything using Pretty Cute Stamps. A Pretty Cute Stamp must be used to create the project.
2. Please link to your actual blog post...not to your blog. If you don't have a blog, you can add a photo of your project to the current Monthly Challenge photo folder in the Pretty Cute Projects Facebook Group.
3. You can enter as many different projects that follow the monthly theme as you want for more chances to win.
4. The challenge will run for 3 weeks. You must link up your project by 11:55 pm CST on Saturday, July 11, 2015.
5. One random winner of a $15 Gift Certificate to the Pretty Cute Stamps store will be chosen. The winner will be announced on Saturday, July 18, 2015.

For my project I used Distress Stains to watercolour a background before layering on my Pretty Cute Stamped images from the Tea-rrific stamp set.

I used Maggie Holmes paper to paper-piece my images and added some Distress Markers around the edges for some shadowing effects. that little steam stamp coming from the tea cup is actually a scroll stamp from the Matryoshka Mom stamp set!

Inside, I stamped the tea bag and layered it over a white insert, adding some Distress Marker to colour the tea in the bag.

Pretty Cute Stamps - May Sneak Peek!

Sooo exciting!! You are going to love the New Releases this month from Pretty Cute Stamps! I'm totally loving this adorable Tea-rriffic set!

For my project today I made a card and tea gift set by paper piecing these sweet stamped images. I created a stenciled background using the Tim Holtz Doily stencil and Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio. After layering papers from a 6x6 paper pad - Front Porch by Pebbles, I diecut a star from a Spellbinders die out of watercolor paper and added Distress Inks and a spritz of water to put my tea set on.

Inside, I stamped this lovely tea bag stamp and this awesome sentiment on more of that Pebbles paper!

I love how happy this little set is! I made a band with another teacup to decorate my tea bag and added some more stamps to coordinate the envelope as well.
