Tonic Studios New Release! Good Times Ahead! with Video!!

Hello friends! Karla here today to share an exciting release from Tonic Studios! Their new Monthly Stamp & Die Set, called Good Times Ahead, includes a 6x8 stamp set full of 26 clear stamps and coordinating dies! You can find it in the US Shop HERE and The UK Shop HERE. I had so much fun playing with this set and created a video with ideas, tips and tricks for using it HERE or watch below! The first set I created with Nuvo Watercolor Pencils, stamped on Craft Perfect Watercolor Paper. These pencils are so smooth and wonderful to blend and colour with!

I layered the stamped and diecut images on Tonic dies from my collection and used some fun tone on tone patterned papers. 

The sentiments are so uplifting and inspiring! I stamped with Nuvo Inks, which come in a large variety of colours, and added lots of pretty Nuvo Drops.

The dies create such a delicate cut around these beautiful images.

You can use the sweet smiley face to add a grin to several of the images!

For the next set I used Shimmer Powders for a fun, shimmery background effect! Be sure to watch the video to see how to apply them! 

And, for the last project, I used some of the smaller projects in my planner!

I coloured these in with the smooth Nuvo Colored Pencils!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Oh Crop Planner Page!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps December Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends! It's December and that means it's time for a brand new SKRAPPY CHALLENGE with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD! I decided to create a planner spread - because I definitely can use a little extra organization as December begins!! I pulled out the brand NEW Planner Doodles stamp set along with the fabulous Perfect Planner set and the adorable Krafty Elves. You'll even get a peek of that fantastic Magical Mosaic Stencil and various Krafty Kolours Inks!! 

I started off by stencilling with the Magical Mosaic Stencil and by using a small dabber I was able to control where I stencilled - using the snowflake pattern you can see in this awesome design. I then added some Mildliner Highlighter and various images and sentiments from both the Planner Doodles and Perfect Planner sets. 

Lastly, I stamped the sweet Krafty Elves onto white sticker paper, coloured them with Copics and fussy cut around them for custom stickers. I grabbed a few Doodlebug stickers from my stash and finished up the week. I feel ready to start December off on a roll!!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, January 4th to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps November Sneak Peeks Day 3 - Planner Doodles Plus a Challenge!

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the November Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are absolutely thrilled to be introducing PLANNER DOODLES!

This stamp set has been designed specifically for your planners, calendars, datebooks, journals, pocket pages and lots more!  And who doesn't want to be a bit more organized in 2021??!

As you hop around the design team's blogs today you'll be able to check out PLANNER DOODLES in action in combination with a lot of our other new November Kraftin' Kimmie products! I love getting organized each month and making my calendar look pretty at the same time, so this set is perfect in combination with Kraftin' Kimmie Inks, including the awesome New SOFT SAGE! 

I love all the planner sentiments as well as all the awesome images that can be used in many different ways! The stars, arrows, dots and more are great to decorate your pages and even cards and tags. This is a family calendar that hangs in our kitchen, and my kiddos always love it when I get the calendar all decorated! Plus seeing at a glance daily things we need to do or reminders is awesome!

I used the New STUDY BUDDY Stencil with Precious Pink Ink and stamped the super cute images from the New SAVE MY PLACE Stamp Set. I actually stamped on sticker paper and coloured with my copics to avoid the marker from bleeding through. 

I swear, even garbage day is fun now!! I love the speech bubble, ovals and squares that are perfect to jot in little reminders!

I used the New SPLISH SPLASH Stencil with our New SOFT SAGE Ink to add fun painty splats and then used some stickers from my stash, including some of my favs from The Aesthetics Studio on Instagram. I'm so happy with how my calendar looks this month and I can't wait to start on December!!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps August Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends! It's AUGUST and that means it's time for a brand new SKRAPPY CHALLENGE with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD! For this challenge I created some fun planner charms using Shrink Plastic and stamps from the Trendy Tees and Trendy Tees Icons Stamp Sets. This was such a fun project!! I first stamped on the white shrink plastic sheet with Totally Taupe Krafty Kolours Ink and then carefully coloured in the images with Copic Markers. 

I added some sponging around the edges with Sparkling Sapphire and Raspberry Rose Inks and used Yummy Yellow to sponge on the stars from the Pattern Parade Stencil before stamping with the star from the Trendy Tees Icons set. The colours all become bolder and brighter after shrinking! I diecut the tag and oval using dies from my stash and added a couple hole punches. I fussy cut the mamma out, and I simply used my heat gun to shrink all the charms! As long as you stick the tip of your heat resistant (I used Tim Holtz) scissors into the little hole you can prevent the charms from flying across the table 😉 and they shrink up very quickly. I added some jump rings and attached them to a lobster clasp with a fun little tassel! My girls have been making shrink plastic earrings all week - I may have to try these next!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps July New Release Sneak Peeks Day 1- Trendy Tees & Icons!

It's time! It's TIME! The July Krafty Peeks begin today and you're not going to believe the incredible goodies we have in store for you this month at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We've got an extra large helping of stamps, stencils, ink and dots for you so get ready to have your socks knocked off!!! Be warned! Today is Day One of our July Krafty Peeks and we are kicking things off with a BANG!

First up we have TWO new amazing stamp sets that work so well individually AND in combination with one another! They are from artist Neda Sadreddin and they're called... TRENDY TEES and TRENDY TEES ICONS! Check out the fabulous family of images in the first set with a selection of words to be combined to make sentiments or to add to their shirts!

Then take a look at the second set of amazing icons and words so that you can customize your images any way you like!  WHAT FUN!!!  The possibilities are endless!

As you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs today you will see the TRENDY TEES & TRENDY TEES ICONS stamp sets in action in combination with our all of our other awesome new JULY Kraftin' Kimmie products! I couldn't help but use these adorable stamps in my planner!! The tiny images are just perfect for adding fun decorations to your planners and calendars... because hey, planning should be fun!

I first stamped all these cute images on matte sticker paper with Wicked Black Ink and then coloured them in with Copic Markers. The sticker paper worked wonderfully to colour them on! I used our brand new FRESH FIELDS ink to colour in the mom stamp's Tshirt by creating a mask. Then I layered the fabulous PATTERN PARADE stencil over top to create a tone on tone polka dot T - so cute!!

I diecut some shapes from more sticker paper and used the awesome pattern stencil again to add background colours in Krafty Kolours Inks. I fussy cut out the images and then started layering on my fun stickers!! I used the cross-stitch stencil and the tiny dotted line on my pages - these will be a go-to for cards and scrapbooking too!

I used some coloured pens to write in some events and to do lists, with more room for journaling as the days progress. I stamped some more words on various patterned stickers and added some fun Simple Stories stickers from my stash. I'm definitely inspired to get some projects and chores finished up now - because we all know checking off a list is almost as fun as making it 😉 By the way, if you love journaling and planners - you might want to check out the Krafty Journaling Fun Group!

You will also spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink rainbow!  It's a gorgeous rich green named FRESH FIELDS! As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, mini cubes and ink refills!

We've got TWO brand new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help accessorize your creations! They are called PATTERN PARADE & SHE SELLS SEASHELLS! The fabulous patterns on the first stencil are just the right size to add some inky designs to your Trendy Tees!!  (And the second stencil might give you a clue as to some other stamp sets we might be sharing later this week!)

And of course, we are adding the perfect new coordinating Krafty Dots for this release! The package includes enamel dots in varying sizes in 6 different colours! These ones are called SUMMER DOTS!

Kraftin' Kimmie Skrappy Challenge - Decorating the Mom Calendar!

Hello! Can you believe it's February already?!! I am so excited to share my February Mom's planner calendar with you today for the February Skrappy Challenge! This is a month long challenge over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog where we challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!!! Today, I'm sharing a look at my Mom's Planner Calendar for the month. This is a large wall calendar that we hang in our kitchen to keep track of everyone's activities. I wanted to 'give it some love' and since this month is Valentines I added some cute stamps from January's release. Of course I also added some stencils, Krafty Kolours Inks and various other stamps to document things happening throughout the month. Scrap Shotz - Christmas Planner!
