Hello friends! Karla here today to share an exciting release from Tonic Studios! Their new Monthly Stamp & Die Set, called Good Times Ahead, includes a 6x8 stamp set full of 26 clear stamps and coordinating dies! You can find it in the US Shop HERE and The UK Shop HERE. I had so much fun playing with this set and created a video with ideas, tips and tricks for using it HERE or watch below! The first set I created with Nuvo Watercolor Pencils, stamped on Craft Perfect Watercolor Paper. These pencils are so smooth and wonderful to blend and colour with!
I layered the stamped and diecut images on Tonic dies from my collection and used some fun tone on tone patterned papers.
The sentiments are so uplifting and inspiring! I stamped with Nuvo Inks, which come in a large variety of colours, and added lots of pretty Nuvo Drops.
The dies create such a delicate cut around these beautiful images.
You can use the sweet smiley face to add a grin to several of the images!
For the next set I used Shimmer Powders for a fun, shimmery background effect! Be sure to watch the video to see how to apply them!
And, for the last project, I used some of the smaller projects in my planner!
I coloured these in with the smooth Nuvo Colored Pencils!

Hello Friends! I'm so excited to be back today to share a brand new exciting release from Tonic Studios - Blossoming Bouquet Stamps and Stencils Bundle!! I've created some beautiful cards using awesome Tonic and Nuvo products - check out the links at the bottom of the page - and a walk through Video of these lovely products with a look at exactly how you can create them!
The Layered Lily Stencil contains 5 stencils/masks to create a gorgeous flower background! I stenciled with Metro Gray, Sunrise Yellow and Lime Burst Nuvo Inks and stamped a sentiment from the Blossoming Bouquet Stamp Set with Black Shadow Ink. I used the flower mask and Glitterati Gold Glimmer Paste for the centers of the flowers and then added a strip of Seafoam Green Mirror Cardstock. All cardbases were created using the Craft Perfect A4 Smooth White Cardstock, and I cut the cardbases to be 4 1/8" x 5 1/2". I added in some Cloud 9 Dream Drops around the sentiment.
Here's another colour variation on the Layered Lily Stencil with Metro Gray, Moroccan Teal and Lotus Flower Inks. I used Frosted Petal Glacier Paste in the centers this time.
I added a sliver of Candy Floss Glitter Cardstock!
The Blossoming Bouquet Stencil is so cool! You stencil the leaves first and then twist the floral images to line up! For a tutorial using this stencil, be sure to check out the video below!
I stenciled the leaves first with Lime Burst Ink and then the roses with Lotus Flower on this card. I used Dried Oregano to add flourish stamps from the stamp set and added Enchanting Pink Glitter Drops on this tiny stenciled dots. The beautiful butterflies from the set are stamped with Black Shadow Ink and coloured in with Pastel Highlights Color Pencils. I popped them up with Nuvo Foam dots and added the awesome friendship sentiment.
For the second version of this stencil, I used the other flowers and a combination of Moroccan Teal and Sliced Strawberry Inks. I added in stamping with Marble Statue Ink. I used Silver Lining Crystal Drops and Love Potion Dream Drops to accent the background this time.
I again coloured in the butterflies with the Pastel Highlights Coloured Pencils in colours that matched the inks.
For the Lovely Layering Stencil, I inked the flowers in Sunrise Yellow and used Pink Novalie Glitter Paste as my accent layer. In the video you'll see another colour combo!
I stamped the flourishes with Dried Oregano Ink and then use some Nuvo Alcohol Markers to colour in some tiny flower and leaf stamps. The Lotus Flower Ink was perfect to stamp the sentiment and matched that Candy Floss Glitter Paper perfectly! I added in a few Enchanted Pink Glitter Drops for the finishing touch!
For my last card, I simply used the beautiful Blossoming Bouquet Stamp Set! There are so many amazing images!! I stamped on Kraft cardstock, which is always great to add pencil colouring to, and used the Dark Shadows Classic Color Pencils to add a vibrant effect!
I added some pretty dots of colour using the French Lilac Crystal Drops.
