Kraft Resist - Creative chemistry day 5
So, I'm skipping around a bit, but loving this online class by Tim Holtz! He does such a great job explaining all the amazing techniques in his videos.
I needed to make a birthday card and thought I'd use the very cool Kraft Resist paper pack by Tim Holtz and one of the techniques from day 5. I also used the Snow Cap paint dauber, which I love, to stamp on top.

Day 2 - creative chemistry
I'm so excited to be taking the Tim Holtz online class, Creative Chemistry 101! I've especially been missing going to crops and classes, so this has been perfect
The first day Tim talked about the properties of inks and it made so much sense to understand this before creating!
Day 2 he focused on Distress inks, my fav, and we made 3 tags, a Blended ink tag with spritzed water; a brushless watercolor, and a wrinkled free distress tag.
Stay tuned for more fun to come!

Toonie Thursday at Scrapbookers
Love the card we made with Holly at Scrapbookers Paradise North last Thursday!
Here's how we did it:
First we stamped an image and used clear embossing powder to create a resist. Then on a craft mat we rubbed 4 different Distress Ink pads and spritzed with water. We then finger painted a collage of ink to cover the background. A piece of patterned paper was added to look like a ribbon and a beautiful paper flower with a gem in the center to add some bling!
Thanks SP!
