KKS January Saturday Challenge #676! Birthday and/or Sunrise/Sunset!

This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are: 

Birthday and/or Sunrise/Sunset!

*You can also choose to use sunrise/sunset colours instead! Here are two colour palettes to start you off!

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you! I started off by stamping the beautiful Majestic Mountains scenery stamp and watercolouring a sunrise setting with my Zebra Clickart Markers!

Then, I added in the sweet penguin and accessory stamps from Icy Penguin Pals. 

I added in a Happy Birthday Sentiment from the Majestic Mountains stamp and inside added a sweet message from Icy Penguin Pals! I love mixing and matching stamp sets. Now I have the perfect wintery birthday card to send to a friend!

Every month we post a brand new challenge with two themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

This month's challenge will remain open until January 31st!

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Our Challenges are now combined with the 

Skrappy Challenge (first Tuesday of the Month)

and the Christmas Challenge In the Krafty Friends FB group! So feel free to enter any or all of these - the monthly prize is a $20 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

KKS January Hop & Shop!

 Woohoo!!! 

Today we are celebrating all the fabulous new goodies in our January Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

I'm using the sweet Falling Hearts stencil as a background for my pretty Valentine card! I used various pink Krafty Kolour inks to sponge over one layer of the stencil and then darker inks over the second layer.

I cut two hearts from glitter cardstock and added them into a diecut gift box! A few dew drops from The Robin's Nest Creative and a love you sentiment from You're Swan-derful finishes off the card! 

  So let's check everything out as we hop around the Krafty Design Team's blogs today!  Grab a drink, sit back and relax while we take you on a krafty tour!

KKS January Krafty Peeks Day THREE! So Punny 2!

  Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the January Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set 

by artist Michelle Houghton

 called...

So Punny 2!

These cute foodie images are going to be awesome to use on your cards and scrapbook pages! But then... add the adorably cute eyes and a punny sentiment for even more fun! If you love this set, be sure to check out the original So Punny in the shop for even more fun!

I am just in love with these images!! I simply had to make a set of sweet Valentines to give out! I stamped the images on white cardstock and coloured them with Copic Markers and pulled out papers and cardstock that matched!

I used a nesting heart die set to cut hearts from the cardstock and patterned paper and then used our New Falling Hearts stencil with coordinating Krafty Kolours Inks to create a tone on tone print on my cardstock.

I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the eyes and sparkly glitter glue on the salt shaker for a fun effect. I added a matching punny sentiment and dew drop embellishments from The Robin's Nest Creative to complete them. I will be able to write my message to the recipient on the back!

KKS January Krafty Peeks Day TWO! You’re Swan-derful!

 Welcome back to Day TWO of our January Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

 You're Swan-derful! 

These sweet swans and their accessories are going to be perfect for so many occasions! Mother's Day, Anniversary, Valentines or a special, swan-derful friend! 

I love this adorable set and I created a cute card that would work for Valentines, Anniversary or just to send to a friend who is amazing! I stamped the swan 'couple' on white cardstock and then masked them off before using the Build A Snowman stencil from our November release and Ocean Opulence Ink! Instead of a melting puddle or an icy lake, we now have a wonderful little pond for our swans!

I coloured them up with Copic Markers, adding in accessories from the stamp set, and stamped in the water lines and splashes. I used Luscious Lemon Ink and our New Falling Hearts stencil to add little stars in the background! You can do this with any of the elements on this stamp set for so many neat effects! I stamped the sentiment and added Flirty Flamingo Ink around the edges of the banner.  A few gel pen and Stickles accents finish things off!
