FCCB #237 - Embellish Me!

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #237 Embellish Me
Use at least 3 embellishments

This Weeks Sponsor
Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

For my project this week I wanted create an ornament that I can slip into an envelope for a friend. I cut the background circle and the scalloped circle from the Heritage cartridge and then stamped a woodgrain background stamp and heat embossed white snowflakes from the Pretty Cute Stamps Christmas Cheer stamp set (I used this set for the Deck The Halls stamp too!).

I then cut the bird holding the Christmas star from Folk Art Festival and tucked him into the scalloped circle. For my embellishments I added a glittery mini clothes pin, a paper tag from the Kaisercraft Basecoat Christmas 6x6 paper pack, a pearl gem for the bird's eye, glittery green star stickers and some brown twine!

On the back I added a couple more stickers and another sentiment from the stamp set above.

I think making a few of these paper ornaments as a special gift is a great idea! I can't wait to see what you all come up with. Be sure to check out the other amazing projects the rest of the Design Team has come up with at the FCCB blog & enter your own for a chance to win an awesome prize!!
