I decided to use naptime (my daughter's - not mine!) to whip up these cute cards for my two little girls. My 7 year old keeps asking me to make her a card - so I wanted to surprise her with this for when she arrived home from school.
I recently got a goody bag from a friend who was selling some gently used stamps and it included this cute little polar bear. Unfortunately, I don't know who the manufacturer was. He coloured up really quickly with Prismacolor Markers (alcohol based), and I followed the sketch over at the Mojo Monday blog, turning it around. The background papers are an assortment from my stash, including some Brenda Walton and the new Kaisercraft Basecoat 6x6 paper pad. I used nesting Spellbinders dies to cut out the bear and the pink background paper as well as the scalloped edge underneath them.
The presents, candy canes and inside sentiments are all from the Pretty Cute Stamps Oh Christmas Tree stamp set. I love all the little additions you can add with that stamp set!
For the envelopes I used some more stamps from the goody bag, and again coloured them in with Prismacolour Markers. The girls loved their cards when they opened them!
