KKS December Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends! 

It's December, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

I'm sharing a mixed media gift tag that I created Live in the last Krafty Retreat! If you took part in that retreat you can find the video and a PDF with step by step directions on how to create it!

I coloured one of the cute gnomes from Gnome for the Holidays with Zebra Clickart Markers, masking off the axe and instead adding a cute candy cane, included in the stamp set. I added a sentiment from It's Penguining to Look a Lot Like Christmas and had fun embellishing with stickers, ephemera and pretty papers from the Paige Evans Sugarplum Wishes collection!

On the back I stamped a sentiment from the gnome set and now my tag is ready to gift to a special friend!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!

This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are: 

Christmas and/or Winter

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you! I am sharing my project for Day 2 of the Krafty Advent Kalendar that I will be showing you how to make Live at 10 am ET today in the Krafty Friends Facebook Group! I coloured the images with Zebra Clickart Markers and did some pretty paper piecing to create a cute banner!

I used the Wooly Winter stencil with Krafty Kolours Inks in Pretty In Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Raspberry Rose and Crisp Crimson and then stamped the sweet sentiment with Lovely Lagoon. I added some glitter gel, an acrylic snowflake and dew drops from The Robin's Nest Creative!

If you missed Day 1 of the reveal, you can find all the details on my Instagram feed! At the end of the 12 days I will have a lovely Christmas banner to hang in my home, so be sure to follow along! I will post daily on Instagram and in the Krafty Friends Facebook Group, and one of the Design Team will be live each day to share the reveal! 

Every month we post a brand new challenge with a choice of themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

KKS Krafty Advent Kalendar 2023!

  Hello friends! We are so excited to start sharing the wonderful surprises you'll find in your Krafty Advent Kalendar if you had decided to order one! This adorable little bear is getting ready for the holidays and hanging his sweet wreath! I coloured the cute image up with Copic markers!

I love the Pretty Poinsettias Layering Stencil and used it as my background, sponging with Crisp Crimson, Mossy Meadow and Charming Chartreuse Krafty Kolour Inks.

I added a pretty green Robin's Nest Creative Dew Drop, white gel pen accents, Tonic stars and Ranger Stickles to my background and image.

I added a diecut bow to make my stencilled background look like a present and then stamped a sentiment from the new Snowy Village stamp set!

November Hop & Shop!

  Woohoo!!! 

Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our November Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

I chose a rainbow of houses using the new Snowy Village! stamp set on a mini slimline card for today's inspiration!  

I coloured the images with Zebra Clickart Markers and added some Ranger Stickles detail and Tonic Crystal Glaze.

I added on some Snowfall Grit Paste using the bottom layer from last month's Let It Snow layering stencil and also spread the sparkly paste on the white cardstock along the bottom of the card. I chose the Season's Greetings sentiment and popped up all the fun stamps and accessories from this set to create this wonderful scene!

So let's check everything out as we hop around the Krafty Design Team's blogs today!  Grab a drink, sit back and relax while we take you on a krafty tour!

KKS November Krafty Peeks… Day FOUR! Icy Penguin Pals!

Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the November Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set 

by artist Becky Pearce

 called...

Icy Penguin Pals!

Our penguin friends are back again, and this time they are celebrating winter with warm wishes! They're sporting tiny skates and this set has a frozen pond and accessories!

For this card I started with a background stencilled using the awesome Build A Snowman Stencil! I made a melted snowman, inked with Krafty Kolours Ink in Wicked Black, Blue Bay, Festive Fuchsia, Marvelous Mocha and Tempting Tangerine.

I coloured the sweet penguin from the Icy Penguin Pals set with Zebra Clickart Markers and stamped the sentiment on the snowman background.

Here's a look at the backgrounds I made with Build A Snowman - I love that you can make a frosty and a melted snowman!

KKS November Krafty Peeks Day THREE! Advent 2022!

 Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the November Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are 'peeking' a very special stamp set with exclusive images from our 2022 Advent Calendar! These mini's are perfect for Christmas tags, banners, cards and more! 

Many of these images can even be mixed and matched with existing sets in the shop!

Here's a look at the four tags I created when the 2022 Krafty Advent Calendar came out last year! I decorated with Doodlebug Design products and coloured the images with Copics.

Here's a look at the whole tag set I created last year - and I'm so excited that they are featured in the winter issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine!! You can also find this year's Advent Calendar in the shop NOW!
