KKS October Hop & Shop!

 Woohoo!!! 

Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our October Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

I started off by using the beautiful Geo 3 stencil! In Day 2 of our Krafty Peeks I created a background with Distress Mica Stains and this stencil. After spraying the Geo 3 stencil I created a negative effect by pressing the wet stencil onto another piece of cardstock. I love doing this technique to create pretty backgrounds!!

I fussy cut a flower from my stash of pretty Christmas paper and then grabbed a lovely sentiment from the It's Penguining To Look A Lot Like Christmas stamp set. I just love the mix of typed and script fonts on this! 

I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops and The Robin's Nest Dew Drops for some pretty bling to finish it off!

KKS October Krafty Peeks Day THREE! Season's Tweetings!

Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the October Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set

Season's Tweetings!

These sweet bird friends are ready to help spread holiday cheer! 

There are so many fun ways you could colour up these adorable birds! I chose a pretty red combination for mine, using Zebra Clickart Markers. 

I used the new Geo 3 Stencil, first applying a light coat of Ruby Red Krafty Kolours Ink and then adding some sparkle with Snowfall Grit Paste. This is such a great graphic stencil!

I stamped the greeting with Bashful Blush Ink and then added some pretty coordinating papers!

KKS October Krafty Peeks Day TWO - Santa Stop Here!

Welcome back to Day TWO of our October Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

Santa Stop Here! 

We've got Santa and Mrs. Claus with so many fun holiday accessory stamps! You'll definitely want to mix and match these with your other sets!!

I chose to use the 'sweet' gingerbread man, stamping 3 times and colouring him with Zebra Clickart Markers and Granite Grey ink for a no-line technique. I used a Distress Crayon for a shimmery effect around the gingerbread squares and added some Nuvo Crystal Drops for his cute buttons. 

I used the new Geo 3 stencil - perfect for backgrounds - and cut a frame out of it after spraying with Distress Mica Stains. (see below for full background!)

I added a sentiment from the set and some adorable Doodlebug Design stickers and papers along with some Nuvo Glitter Drops for a very yummy card!

Here's an up close look at the Geo 3 Stencil misted with Distress Mica Stains!

After misting the first one I pressed the stencil onto another piece of cardstock to get the negative effect! Both are great backgrounds and ready for quick cardmaking!

KKS October Krafty Peeks Day ONE - It's Penguining To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our October Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we have an adorable set of festive penguins,

designed by Becky Pearce,

 and it's called.....

It's Penguining To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

These sweet penguin friends are ready to help you decorate and celebrate the holidays! 

I coloured up one of the adorable penguins and the gifts with Zebra Clickart Markers, using Granite Grey Krafty Kolours Ink for a no-line colouring technique. I used the stars in the set along with gold embossing powder and the new Tree-mendous Layering Stencil to create a winter forest scene with a night sky.

I added Purple Pansy Ink around the outside of the card panel to match the pretty presents and popped up my penguin! I stamped the friend sentiment, and I think this would be perfect for a Christmas card, birthday or a wintery friend card! 

Here's a look at the awesome layering stencil! I used a watercoloured panel I had already done and then added the trees on with Lucky Limeade, Fresh Fields, Mossy Meadow and Marvelous Mocha.

Then, I added the last layer using Ranger White Matte Texture Paste. You could definitely use this stencil with or without the snowy layer! I even sprinkled a little glitter over the wet texture paste for a sparkly effect!

KKS October Challenge - Mid Month Inspiration #673 Pumpkins & Stencils!

Good morning and welcome to our

Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

We are back today with an inspirational post showcasing more ideas to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

We can't wait to see what you create!

This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are: 

Pumpkins & Stencils!

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you!

I've created a card that does use both themes! I love Halloween and this was such a fun card to make! I started off by spraying Distress Mica Stains over the Ghoulish Ghosts Stencil  and then turned the stencil over to press against some watercolour paper to get the negative effect. After that dried I stamped the googly eyes from the Little Monsters stamp set! 

I used an orange Mica Stain background from my stash and stamped Boo from the Pumpkin Kisses set (a great fall stamp set!). I added some fun Halloween patterned paper - along with pumpkins of course!

This is such a sweet stamp set! I pulled out my Zebra Clickart Markers to do a no-line watercolour technique! I stamped the image with Granite Grey and traced around each area with the Clickart Markers before using a waterbrush to paint it in. I love using multiple of the same images so I thought there should be three little penguin friends!

I stencilled the Cool Crystals Stencil with Tranquil Teal Ink over some Pearlescent Cardstock for a pretty, soft, snowy effect!
