March Saturday Challenge #678 - Stitching and/or Cute Critters!

Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

We are back today with an inspirational post showcasing more ideas to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

This month our Saturday Challenge themes for you are:

Stitching and/or Cute Critters!

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you!

I'm using the adorable new You're Stu-pandous stamp set and Wonderful Wildlife stencil! 

I coloured up these sweet friends with Copics on a diecut panel edged with Incredible Indigo Krafty Kolours ink. I cut various panels using lots of stitching dies to layer that on and even used a black pen to add faux pen stitching. 

I used Solar Pastes with the Wonderful Wildlife stencil on black cardstock. The Solar Pastes are so shiny, especially on a dark background and look so super cool with this amazing stencil! I used the Incredible Indigo ink again to stamp one of the awesome sentiments!

 Every month we post a brand new challenge with two themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

This month's challenge will remain open until the end of the month!

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Our Challenges are now combined with the 

Skrappy Challenge (first Tuesday of the Month)

and the Christmas Challenge In the Krafty Friends FB group! So feel free to enter any or all of these - the monthly prize is a $20 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

KKS March New Release Hop & Shop!

Woohoo!!! 

Today we are celebrating all the fabulous new goodies in our March Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

I'm using the new Fairies & Furries stamp set along with the new Swirling Stars stencil! 

I coloured the fairy with Copic markers and added some white gel pen highlights. I used various colours of Solar Paste on black cardstock with the star stencil. I love that there are several different areas to use within this one stencil! 

I embossed a shimmery panel with a star embossing folder and then added on the cute sentiment, some gold thread and two cute firefly stickers!

KKS March Krafty Peeks Day 2- Fairies & Furries!

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the March Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set

 called...

Fairies & Furries!

These fairies and their furry friends will bring a smile to everyone's face! And they are so awesome for your spring creations!

I coloured up one of the sweet little fairies with Copics and layered her on a background circle diecut with Doodlebug Design patterned paper. I love all the awesome sentiments in this set! 

I added some of the cute Doodlebug Design stickers to the card for a lovely spring feel!

I used the Swirling Stars stencil with some pretty yellow Krafty Kolour Inks with a layer of gold Solar Paste over top for shimmery effect.

KKS March Krafty Peeks Day 1- Stu-pand-ous!

 Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our March Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we have a beary adorable set for you,

designed by Neda Sadreddin,

 and it's called.....

Stu-pand-ous!

These cute red pandas are ready to make your creations panda-stic! The awesome accessory stamps are perfect to create amazing scenes!

I created a mixed media background using the awesome new Wonderful Wildlife stencil with Ranger Texture Paste and Lavinia Dinkles powders! This stencil will be great to mix with lots of cute critters!!

I watercoloured the panda and accessories with Zebra Pen Clickart markers and created a cute little scene for my friend! I love this sentiment, perfect for so many occasions!

I coloured this cute image with alcohol markers and created a pretty spring card with cute gnome paper to match!

I used some coordinating patterned paper to paper piece her hat and dress, and I added the lucky clover to the top of the card. I fussy cut out the sentiment and coloured it with the markers and added that to the bottom of the card. She is so cute and I love that there are so many occasions to use this for!!
