KKS June Hop & Shop!

 Woohoo!!! 

Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our June Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

I am using the adorable SAFARI FUN stamp set with the super cute Lucas and the baby elephant! I decided to try the no-line technique with Clickart Markers, stamping with Totally Taupe Ink and then watercolouring on Bristol Smooth cardstock.

I love inking stencils up when I first get them and find that gives me ideas on how I want to use them or even a background to grab quickly! 

I first inked the new WOODGRAIN stencil with Totally Taupe, Creamy Caramel (our ink of the month on sale!!), Sandy Shores and Marvellous Mocha inks and then went over the background with Totally Taupe.

I diecut a panel from the stenciled piece and then layered on some jungle paper from a Simple Stories paper pad.

I stamped the sentiment directly on my stenciled background and then popped up my watercoloured panel!

KKS June Krafty Peeks... Day THREE! Kooky Kangaroos!

Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the June Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set 

by artist Neda Sadreddin

 called...

KOOKY KANGAROOS!

These adorable kangaroos are bouncing all over the place, ready to spread happiness and sweet messages! Of course Neda's sweet accessory stamps are perfect for lots of occasions and great to mix and match!

I just love Neda's style and these adorable kangaroos are going to be one of my fav's! I coloured a big and little kangaroo with Copics along with the gift box and a heart. 

I used Dylusions White Shimmer Paint and a sponge to apply a thin coat over my background using the new Bobbing Boomerang Stencil and then sprayed the background with Dylusions sprays! You can see how the stenciled areas shimmer when turned into the light and create a resist from the sprays!

I added in the 'bouncing' lines around each popped up image and stamped the fabulous sentiment directly on my background. I'm sure anyone - old or young - would love to receive this on their birthday!!

KKS June Krafty Peeks... Day TWO! Desert Landscape!

 Welcome back to Day TWO of our June Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Michelle Houghton

 and it's called.....

DESERT LANDSCAPE!

If you loved the beautiful Majestic Mountains scenery, then you will definitely love our newest landscape scene!! You can colour this up as the focal image - or use it as a background for your favourite characters! It looks amazing inside our fabulous You've Been Framed stamps as well!

I love this scene and can imagine so many ways to use it!! I decided to colour it today using Distress Watercolor Pencils and create a sunset scene. 

I stamped one of the beautiful sentiments across the bottom and then framed my 'masterpiece' with black cardstock. I added some texture paste through the new Woodgrain stencil overtop of my wood paper - and voila!

KKS June Krafty Peeks... Day ONE! A Krafty Komeback - Safari Fun!

      Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our June Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we’ve got a Krafty Komeback for you featuring our friends Lucas, Lulu and Lexi

designed by Cheryl Grant,

 and it's called.....

SAFARI FUN!

These guys are ready for fun with their animal buddies and have the most awesome sentiments for any occasion!

These adorable images were the perfect way to decorate a scrapbook page with photos from a trip to the local zoo last summer! 

I had some fun Simple Stories safari themed paper, ephemera and stickers and created my layout using the Creative Scrapbooker June Sketchy Challenge! I love starting with a sketch! I actually only had the 6x8 paper pad, and by doing some creative cutting it looks like I actually used larger papers!

I coloured up the adorable Lexi in her safari outfit, using Nuvo Watercolor Pencils and fussy cut out the image. If you think of your stamped images as 'stickers' it is a great way to use them in your scrapbooking. I layered her with some stickers and ephemera and then wrote in some journaling on my page.

I stamped one of the awesome sentiments from the set on a stitched banner diecut and layered a few more elements around it. You can see some of the new Woodgrain stencil peeking out from the yellow cardstock, and I also added some of the Stylish Stars stencil on the white background, stenciled with Krafty Kolours Inks as well.

KKS June Skrappy Challenge!

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's June, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!

So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

I am sharing two journal pages I created Live in the Krafty Friends Group on International Scrapbook Day. I used the cute images from Perfect Adventures, watercolouring with Zebra Clickart Markers. You can check out the video HERE or scroll down to watch!

I added in some stamps from the Picture Perfect stamp set and layered on some stickers and ephemera.

I cut out some fun papers with an Elizabeth Craft Designs planner die, which fits in my Sidekick Planner and added photos from our trip to Saskatchewan last summer.

I added in an interactive flap and tucked in a cute suitcase from the On The Go Stencil with some journaling about our trip!

My daughter, Erica, wanted to craft along so she found some photos she wanted to use and some coordinating stamps. These are her pages!

She used the taco and sentiment from So Punny to match her burrito costume she wore to school for the first page.

Then she chose the cute mouse and sentiment from Perfect Adventures along with a multicoloured taco with a hat... because you can do what you want when you're crafting!
