KKS June Skrappy Challenge!

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's June, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!

So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

I am sharing two journal pages I created Live in the Krafty Friends Group on International Scrapbook Day. I used the cute images from Perfect Adventures, watercolouring with Zebra Clickart Markers. You can check out the video HERE or scroll down to watch!

I added in some stamps from the Picture Perfect stamp set and layered on some stickers and ephemera.

I cut out some fun papers with an Elizabeth Craft Designs planner die, which fits in my Sidekick Planner and added photos from our trip to Saskatchewan last summer.

I added in an interactive flap and tucked in a cute suitcase from the On The Go Stencil with some journaling about our trip!

My daughter, Erica, wanted to craft along so she found some photos she wanted to use and some coordinating stamps. These are her pages!

She used the taco and sentiment from So Punny to match her burrito costume she wore to school for the first page.

Then she chose the cute mouse and sentiment from Perfect Adventures along with a multicoloured taco with a hat... because you can do what you want when you're crafting!

Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps May Hop & Shop!

For today's project I'm using the rest of that beautiful stencilled butterfly panel I created in yesterday's post! You can see the details and inks used HERE. The BUTTERFLY BOUNTY Stencil is so gorgeous and I really wanted to feature the sparkly accents and rainbow of colours!

I used the FLUTTER HIGH! sentiment to add a lovely message to the front of the card!

I finished it off with some flower sequins and layered the panel on black so it would pop!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Krafty Peeks... Day THREE! It's About Time!

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the May Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a 'timeless' new set 

by artist Michelle Houghton

 called...

IT'S ABOUT TIME!

These beautiful clocks and timepieces with fabulous coordinating sentiments will definitely be a go-to stamp set!

I started off by stenciling the beautiful 2 layer Butterfly Bounty Stencil with different colours of Krafty Kolours Inks: Purple Pansy, Alluring Amethyst (on sale!), Flirty Flamingo, Pink Pizzazz, Ocean Opulence, Sparkling Sapphire, Luscious Lemon, Yummy Yellow, Charming Chartreuse and Enchanted Emerald. Then I went over the top area of the stencil with Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer Paste for a sparkly effect!

I cut a panel from the stenciled are and added it to my card base and then stamped one of the fabulous clocks directly onto a piece of text patterned paper.

I paper pieced areas of the clock stamp with more patterned paper and layered it onto my card.

I tucked in some flower ephemera and added some enamel dots, butterfly sequins and a wonderful sentiment from the set!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Krafty Peeks... Day TWO! Flutter High!

Welcome back to Day TWO of our May Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

There are so many ways to use these beautiful butterflies and the accessory bee and flower stamps! The uplifting sentiments are perfect for any occasion! 

I'm sharing my tag mini album that I taught in the Spring Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Retreat! The KKS Retreats are such a great way to get together with krafty friends and enjoy a weekend full of creativity and inspiration! If you were in the retreat group, I taught this live, step by step, and provided a PDF with complete instructions as well. There were 15+ classes delivered over the weekend as well as the Flutter High Stamp Set and the Butterfly Bounty Layered Stencil, (plus another super secret set) and a fabulous kit full of goodies! 

Here's a peek at the pages inside the mini album! The images in the Flutter High Stamp Set are stamped over ink blended backgrounds and embossed with gold embossing powder. You can see the Butterfly Bounty Stencil peeking out on several pages. 

There are so many beautiful ways to colour up these pretty spring images! And the sentiments are so wonderful!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Krafty Peeks... Day ONE! Monkey Business!

     Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our May Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we’re featuring a sweet set of adorable monkeys

designed by Neda Sadreddin,

 and it's called.....

MONKEY BUSINESS

These cuties are ready for fun, and might just go bananas if you let them! 

I grabbed a background that already had yellow shimmery mist on it and added green Krafty Kolours Inks through the fabulous Stylish Stars Stencil! Then, I used some Ranger Translucent Texture Paste over top for a shiny effect. 

I watercoloured the super cute images with Zebra Clickart Markers and fussy cut them with my Olfa scissors.

I added a border of patterned paper and some stickers from the Simple Stories Into The Wild Collection, and then popped up my sentiment stamped on a stitched banner.
