For my projects today I'm giving you a look at the new 6x6 paper pad For The Boys, the new stamp set Waddles Bring On The BBQ and the amazing new Gumdrop enamel dots! These will all be available 10 pm EST Saturday in the Your Next Stamp store. I couldn't stop at just one project - and since I decided to go with a Father's Day theme I thought I'd create a tri-fold card and a DIY folded box.
For my card I followed the easy tutorial HERE on YouTube to create a tri-fold card and used the amazing papers from the For The Boys 6x6 paper pad. There are so many super patterns!! I coloured in the images from the Waddles Bring On The BBQ stamp set with Prismacolor and Hobby Colour Markers and added them, along with several sentiments also in the set, to the card. How cute are those oven mitts?!!
I added several of the enamel Gumdrop dots - I love the sparkle! and also used some cork and sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps.
I just love how many surfaces I can use for decorating on this card! I left one plain white panel to write a message to my hubby!
Here's a look at the card fully opened up.
I think he's going to love it!
For my second project I used a video tutorial HERE to create this cute little box from two pieces of cardstock. I added more of the awesome papers from the For The Boys paper pad and layered on a stamped panel using the stamps from the Waddles Bring On The BBQ clear stamp set. I can't believe how many images and sentiments are on this set! It can really be used for any occasion!
My girls are going to tuck in some small gifts they bought for their dad, and I know he's going to chuckle when he sees the cute penguin watching TV and drinking a cold one!
I think that bowl of fishies are one of my fav stamps from the set ;) My girls love Goldfish crackers - so we made them orange, of course!
Thanks so much for joining me today! Be sure to head over to the Your Next Stamp blog to see a list of all the blogs where you can find so many more inspirational sneak peeks showing more New Release goodness! And I'll be back at 10 pm EST Saturday to give for the New Release Hop - where you'll get to see the products and have a chance to win :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend friends!
