Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Peeks Day THREE! Hammin' It Up!

   Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the March Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set 

from artist Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

HAMMIN' IT UP!!

I thought these guys would make a fabulous birthday card!! I coloured them up with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in some fun hamster colours after stamping with the New RICH RUST Ink! 

These cuties are having so much fun!! 

And you're going to have a blast creating with them!

If I'm ever not sure how to colour images, I'll often search for 'cartoon....' and that will give me some ideas. I added in some white bellies, spots and stripes to give them each their own look! 

I decided to create an interactive card using the Swish'n Pop Pull tab allowing the hamster with balloons to float across the card. 

I love the accessory stamps included in this set - small stamps are always great to use in a planner or journal or to create custom backgrounds! I stamped with various colours of Krafty Kolours Inks and added Stardust and White Gel pen details. 

I used the ADD-ON KIT to add chipboard stars, Dream Drop embellishments and sequins to the background. The Dream Drops are iridescent and added a shimmery effect to the top of the chipboard!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Krafty Peeks Day TWO! My Hero!

Welcome back to Day TWO of our March Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from artist 

Melissa Baker-Nguyen and it's called.....

MY HERO!!

I chose one of the fantastic sentiments from this set and white heat embossed it over a watercoloured paper that was created with purple Pixie Powder for a shimmery backround! I diecut it out and added it to my card along with an image from yesterday's New DRAGON FLIGHT Stamp Set. 

This is an amazing set of sentiments that will match perfectly with the fabulous Dragon Flight stamp set we previewed yesterday!!

I used the New RADICAL RECTANGLES Stencil to trace a frame around my card base with an embossing pen and then heat embossed with gold powder. There are so many ways to use this rectangle stencil!! 

I added chipboard clouds (coloured with Metallic Lustre Paste), Sparkletz sequins and Dream Drops from the New MARCH ADD-ON BUNDLE. This is the perfect kit to add embellishments ready to go that match your new stamps!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March Krafty Peeks - Day ONE! Dragon Flight!

 Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our March Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured set is a fearsome set by Sabrina van Vloten called.....
DRAGON FLIGHT!

I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to watercolour in this amazing dragon image and egg after stamping with New RICH RUST Krafty Kolours Ink!

This is an amazing set of dragons and knights ready to set flight and create magical scenes! Of course you're going to find so many ways to use it with the previously released Dream Castle and Royal Family & Sentiments sets!!

I used the New RICH RUST colour to sponge my card base before layering on a stenciled background using the New ROYAL Stencil and Glitter Kiss paste. I used the New RADICAL RECTANGLES Stencil to mask a rectangular scene with our Krafty Scenery 3 and Chubby Clouds Stencils! 

I used the awesome MARCH ADD ON BUNDLE to embellish, including Dream Drops, Twine and Chipboard. I added a pretty sentiment from the Unicorns & Rainbows stamp set - since I think this set truly is magical!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #571 - Glitter!

Good morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps ! Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create! This week, Krafty Girl Melanie is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

GLITTER!

I was recently playing around with my gelli plate to create some backgrounds, and I decided to stamp and heat emboss these beautiful butterflies and the sentiment from the Butterfly Dreams Stamp Set! I'm totally in the mood for spring, so this was the perfect set to use! I pulled out my reinker sprays in Gorgeous Grape and Berry Bold, which I mix in small spray bottles with water and Perfect Pearls, and sprayed them through the Happy Hearts Stencil to create a subtle, glittery heart detail to my background panel.

I stamped more of the sentiments from the set with Granite Grey Ink around the edges of the panel and then added another heat embossed butterfly image using glittery embossing powder. I layered the panel on a scalloped die and then on my cardbase that had strips of double sided tape with fine glitter rubbed on top for a pretty, glittery border! I even added some krafty dots and some clear sequins to finish off the card.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Wild Whisper - Documenting in a Pandemic TN Style!

 Hello friends! I'm over on the Wild Whisper Blog today with a new layout in my Covid Travellers Notebook! This is more of a journal about how we made everyday life fun and special, in spite of a pandemic. I know we are going to look back on this someday and say .. oh yeah, remember when we did this?? 

I am also really excited to share that the beginning of this travellers notebook was featured in the latest Spring issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March Skrappy Challenge!

Good morning krafty friends!

It's March and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD! For this month's challenge I decided to make a tag flip book using images from the adorable Love Bugs Stamp Set! These sweet critters are just perfect for spring creations and are back in stock - so grab them quick!! 

I coloured up the sweet ladybug with Copics and popped him up on front of the beautiful flowers in the set on a diecut oval base. A few Krafty Dots from the Fruity Dot pack add another punch of colour.

Inside, the flip book opens to reveal three tags! You could easily add a gift card too! I got the instructions to make this sweet book here. An adhesive magnet set from the dollar store keeps it lightly closed.

I used Krafty Kolours Inks in coordinating colours and the Lots Of Dots Stencil to add detail around the tags. After stamping more of the sweet Love Bugs Stamp Set images on each tag, I used coloured pencils to lightly shade the images in. 

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, April 5th to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!
