Pretty Cute Stamps February Release Sneak Peek - Easter Cuties!

I'm so happy to share with you today the sneak peek of one of the new stamp sets for the Pretty Cute Stamps February 2015 release - Easter Cuties!

This is such an adorable set - and such a perfect one to have for all your Easter crafting needs! I can see using this on cards, scrapbooks, Project Life cards (I love using the sentiments from the Pretty Cute Stamps sets in my pocket pages!), and Easter treats for the classroom. Oh, and of course you know I'll be making lunch box notes for my girl with this awesome set!

For my project today I created a cute Easter card and two matching tags. 

I used the round Distress Ink sponge and smooshed on several colours of Distress Inks in a circular motion to create my colourful background. Then I layered over my 'Easter Cuties' (perfectly named!) along with their eggs and baskets that I coloured with Prismacolour Markers. I added some Stickles for shimmer and stamped on a sentiment inside a speech bubble from the Let's Talk set.

Inside - I used a Kaleidoscope ink pad and the border from the Celebrate Today stamp set and the Happy Easter from Easter Cuties. I can't wait till you can see all the cute sentiments that come with this set in the release tomorrow!

For the background on the tags I swiped Distress Stains across a piece of watercolour paper and then sprayed it with Perfect Pearls mist to blend the colours and add shimmer. After drying I stencilled overtop with the Tim Holtz flower doily stencil and purple ink and then again with a circular stencil and white ink. I stamped a cute sentiment over each little Easter animal and used pop dots to raise the basket and a couple eggs.

I even stamped some seam binding ribbon with Making Memories ink before adding more Distress Stain and crinkling it up while I dried it. Just love this technique!
