This week, I'm your hostess and my challenge theme for you is:
Surf's Up!
Create a project that is beach, ocean, sandy themed, etc!
I decided to create an underwater scene card this week using the adorable Keep Swimming stamp set along with the newly restocked Splish Splash stencil that is perfect for sooo many backgrounds!
This fun background was one I had already made using the negative image of that fun Splish Splash stencil and some Dina Wakley Gloss Spray. Because this spray is an acrylic paint, its perfect to create a resist and I was able to sponge on Krafty Kolours Inks in Amazing Azure, Ocean Opulence and Purple Pansy. I pulled out my sewing machine and stitched a line all the way around the edge before attaching it to the cardbase. I used some foam tape to pop up the sweet Copic coloured images and created a little cluster of diecut hearts and a sentiment sticker.
I stamped a sentiment with one of my fav inks - Stormy Sky and created another cluster of embellishments with the punny message! I added in those cuuute little Fish Tank Sprinkletz from the June Add-On Bundle for one more pop of colour and fun!
Inside I added the cute whale from this set, and now my card is ready to make someone else smile!!
