This week, Krafty Girl Keri P. is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is:
USE A STENCIL!
I absolutely love using stencils and there are so many things you can do with them!! I decided to pull out some Krafty Kolours Inks in the New Cool Cantaloupe, Summer Sunshine, Ocean Opulence, Marvelous Mocha, Fresh Fields and Berry Bliss. I love how these colours match with the beautiful P13 Paper Pack in the August Add-On Bundle!! I created a pretty background scene for these adorable squirrels from the new Squirrel Friends Stamp Set we just released, coloured up with coloured pencils. How cute are the fun accessories included in this set?!!
I used the Marvelous Mocha and the Burlap Stencil with the masking stencil from the Semi Circles Stencil first. I then used the outside of the Semi Circles stencil and the Chubby Clouds Stencil with Ocean Opulence Ink to create a little sky scene area for these cuties.
I then used the fabulous New Falling Leaves Stencil to create a beautiful base by stenciling four times, each time moving the stencil around to fill in all the areas, and each time using a different ink - Cool Cantaloupe, Summer Sunshine, Fresh Fields and Berry Bliss! I love how various leaves overlap and how it looks like custom patterned paper!!
I layered my background over one of the papers from the P13 Paper Pack in the August Add-On Bundle and dabbed the Opal Polish Blaze, from the Add-On Bundle as well, on the little accessories. Seriously, this bundle is a complete fall kit - just add stamps!! I white heat embossed one of the included sentiments on black cardstock - and there are a lot of sentiments to choose from!
